National Review: The Corner: The Political Parties That Hate Their Customers
Marketing campaigns, including those by Bud Light, are pushing away customers, causing them to abandon the brand. This trend extends to political parties, with Republicans dismissing non-Trumpists and Democrats dividing people based on immutable characteristics. The parties' favored candidates, Trump and Biden, are popular despite public disapproval. This rejection of impurity is driving people to become independents.
The Economist: Political dysfunction in Northern Ireland is the new normal
Political dysfunction in Northern Ireland has become the norm, with civil servants running the government instead of elected officials. The collapse of the government, caused by disputes over Brexit, has led to dire consequences for public services, such as healthcare and education. The prospects for devolved government returning to Northern Ireland are bleak, as the main unionist party refuses to accept the proposed arrangements.
Daily Wire: Biden, Again, Lies About Small Kitchen Fire In Response To Hurricane Idalia
President Joe Biden, in his recent addresses, compared the devastation caused by Hurricane Idalia and the wildfires in Hawaii to an incident in which lightning struck his own house. However, the reality is that it was just a small kitchen fire. Biden's repeated false comparisons demonstrate his tendency to exaggerate and misrepresent the severity of situations.
Fox News: ‘Cowboy up’ – dark horse GOP presidential candidate doesn’t let leg injury derail him on campaign trail
North Dakota Republican Gov. Doug Burgum continues his presidential campaign trail despite a leg injury. He participated in the first Republican debate with crutches and is now using a scooter. Burgum is capitalizing on his injury, selling T-shirts and gaining support. He aims to qualify for the second debate but criticizes the nationalization of the contest.
The Economist: Can Scotland help Labour form Britain’s next government?
Can Scotland help Labour form Britain's next government? The by-election in Rutherglen could be a crucial test for the Labour Party, which is hoping for a revival in Scotland. The Scottish National Party (SNP) has seen a decline in support, providing an opportunity for Labour to gain seats in the region. If successful, this could boost Labour's chances of winning a general election and reduce the risk of a hung Parliament.

American Thinker: Our racist military
Just back from Normandy, where 9,387 Americans who lost their lives in the D-Day invasion and its aftermath are interred. Our fighting men had to cross wide expanses of open beach under direct frontal and flanking fire. Our Rangers at Pointe du Hoc employed lines connected to grappling hooks to scale sheer-vertical 90-foot cliffs as German soldiers shot down at them and dropped grenades from above. Still, the allied forces prevailed. My Uncle Sal, a scout, went in at Normandy on the second day.
Today's military and its academies have been thoroughly corrupted by wokeness; anti-Americanism; and, yes, homegrown communism. Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity (DIE); Critical Race Theory; mandatory white self-criticism sessions; and transgender indoctrination are front and center in the services. Soviet-style political commissars ("respect officers") keep tabs on cadet companies and combat units alike; step out of line politically, and your career is ruined. Flag officers (generals and admirals) who, like me, took a solemn oath to defend the U.S. Constitution "against all enemies, foreign and domestic" now salute smartly and carry out illegal orders from Washington so that they might retire with highly lucrative positions in the Military-Industrial Complex that President Eisenhower warned us about.

Fox News: Deconstructing the firestorm of Vivek Ramaswamy's Israel comments
Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy has been accused of wanting to "defund" foreign aid to Israel. Ramaswamy denies this and emphasizes the importance of negotiating new agreements, such as the Abraham Accords 2.0, to strengthen Israel's position in the Middle East. He also states that he will continue to provide aid to Israel until they no longer need it and hopes to achieve economic independence for Israel. Critics accuse Ramaswamy of flip-flopping on the issue, but he asserts that his stance remains consistent and blames establishment politicians for spreading misinformation.

American Thinker: Why Muslims hate dogs so much
Muslim girls in black burqas are seen dancing to a song praising Islam and cursing non-Muslims in a video recorded at an Indian women's college campus. This highlights the indoctrination and hatred toward non-Muslims present in religious minority institutes. Dogs are disparaged in Islam, further emphasizing the cultural differences between the West and Islam.

The Economist: Britain’s smaller cities desperately need better transport
Britain's smaller cities are in desperate need of better transport, particularly when it comes to their bus networks. Since deregulation in the 1980s, bus journeys have declined significantly, causing rising fares and reduced services. One solution proposed is to switch to a London-style franchise system, bringing bus services back under public control. Greater Manchester has already made the shift, and other cities may follow suit, although there are concerns about the cost and legal challenges from existing operators. The government hopes that by improving bus networks, more people will choose to use them, alleviating congestion and reducing emissions.
