A severe drought and scorching heat have amplified the threat of wildfires throughout the US. Tragic incidents include the annihilation of a 24-unit apartment complex in Austin and the scorching of 80,000 acres in California and Nevada. Moreover, devastating wildfires in Maui have claimed the lives of over 100 people. The US Forestry Service and the Florida Forest Service, drawing on their expertise, point out that the prevailing weather conditions and aridity hinder firefighting efforts. Consequently, regions previously unaffected by wildfires are now being educated on preventive measures. 

In another event, Ukrainian forces have successfully demolished 10 Russian DRG boats that sought to infiltrate strategically vital areas in the south. The confrontation escalates tensions in the ongoing war in Ukraine.
