A farmer near Le Syndicat sprayed Roma travelers with foul slurry after police offered no help. Locals say the travellers’ site is full and authorities ignored them. The group Parti d’Alsace was bound for the Life and Light festival.

At Midtown's 50th Street station, a man was pushed onto the tracks; he climbed back to the platform and wasn’t hit by a train. He’s stable with facial and leg injuries; the suspect fled and no arrests have been made. The push followed a Times Square shooting; a 17-year-old was detained.
