GB News: Southport inquiry won't use killer name, probe's chair says
The public inquiry into the Southport triple murders will not name the perpetrator, 18-year-old Axel Rudakubana, referring to him only as "the perpetrator" or "AR" for sensitivity reasons. Inquiry chairman Sir Adrian Fulford emphasized the emotional impact on the victims' families.
The investigation will examine whether the attack could have been prevented and the measures in place to address youth violence. Rudakubana was sentenced to life in prison for the stabbing spree that killed three children at a dance class last summer.
