An illegal alien convicted of child sex crimes in Kansas had his convictions overturned due to incorrect charges filed against him. Josue Manuel Arita, from Guatemala, was charged with sexually abusing two children, but the charges alleged that he caused his victims to be abused by another person instead of personally abusing them. The appellate court ruled that there was insufficient evidence to support Arita's convictions, leading to his sentence being vacated. Arita is set to be deported from the United States.
