Enforcement officers cleared a homeless encampment at Hyde Park Corner, following a court order from Transport for London. This was the fourth eviction in a year, with around 100 people living in the area.

Local residents voiced complaints about anti-social behavior, exacerbated by the camp's proximity to luxury hotels and affluent neighborhoods. Concerns about tourism were pronounced. 

Westminster City Council backed the action, asserting that the location was not safe for anyone to live.
