Breitbart: Biden's DHS Extends Parole for Afghans in U.S. Amid Vetting Failures
Biden's DHS Extends Parole for Afghans in U.S. Amid Vetting Failures
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is offering parole extensions to tens of thousands of Afghan nationals who were resettled in the United States in 2021 and 2022. President Joe Biden’s move has been criticized after former Department of Defense officials revealed that some Afghans were resettled before being found to have been involved in placing improvised explosive devices in Afghanistan to kill American troops. An inspector general's report has also detailed how unvetted Afghans who may 'pose a risk to national security' have been brought to the US by the Biden administration.

Breitbart: Japan Rehires Older Workers as U.S. Gov't Imports Younger Migrants
Japan Rehires Older Workers as U.S. Gov't Imports Younger Migrants
Japan has successfully raised the share of old people and women who are working, without relying on more migrants. The country has expanded its labor force by around 4.2 million even as its population has fallen by more than three million, leading the way in incorporating talent that has long been neglected. The US should follow their example. Meanwhile, the US government allows companies to replace many sidelined, disadvantaged, older, isolated, or sicker Americans, with millions of migrants extracted from poor countries during the last 30 months.

The federal government operates an unpopular policy of extraction migration, which extracts vast amounts of human resources from needy countries and reduces beneficial trade. This colonialism-like policy has resulted in the inflow of migrant workers, renters, and consumers growing Wall Street and aggravating the housing crisis in the US. The inflow has also pushed many native-born Americans out of careers and contributed to rising death rates of poor Americans. The lethal policy also sucks jobs and wealth from heartland states and reduces the political clout of native-born Americans.

The Federalist Papers: ‘Greater Idaho’ Movement Gains Another County - If the Current Map Doesn’t Scare Oregon Libs, Nothing Will
‘Greater Idaho’ Movement Gains Another County - If the Current Map Doesn’t Scare Oregon Libs, Nothing Will
Oregon residents are voting on an advisory resolution to join Idaho, with the proposed border change reflecting cultural and political differences between the state's east and west. The Greater Idaho movement hopes to unite 13 Oregon counties with Idaho, contending that doing so would lower taxes, increase the region's representation and improve self-determination. The proposal has been deemed advisory and a final vote would require legislative approval from both Oregon and Idaho, as well as Congress.

The Federalist Papers: Garth Brooks Supports Bud Light, Has Vile Message for Fans Who Disagree with Him
Garth Brooks Supports Bud Light, Has Vile Message for Fans Who Disagree with Him
Country musician Garth Brooks is opening the bar Friends in Low Places in Nashville, which he envisions as the "Chick-fil-A of honky-tonks." Despite boycotts against Bud Light, he plans to serve every brand of beer at the establishment. Brooks emphasizes that inclusion and respect will be integral aspects of the bar's atmosphere.

Sales for Bud Light have declined in recent weeks, down about 24% from the previous year. Actor Kirk Cameron gave Bud Light a piece of advice, stressing the importance of never betraying one's audience and citing family, country, and God as his own priorities. Cameron emphasized the significance of trust, stating that those who uphold it ultimately succeed while trust-breakers lose out.

The Federalist Papers: San Francisco Doom Loop Intensifies, Police Forced To Implement Barrier to Control Homeless in Front of McDonalds
San Francisco Doom Loop Intensifies, Police Forced To Implement Barrier to Control Homeless in Front of McDonalds
San Francisco authorities are responding to the issue of illegal vendors and homeless individuals near the entrance of the city’s Bay Area Rapid Transit station. Barriers near the station were removed by protesters, and a new vendor permit system and increased police presence have been implemented, leading to loiterers relocating outside a local McDonald’s. To combat the issue, the McDonald’s management began playing classical music nonstop to dissuade people from staying. The San Francisco Police Department installed temporary metal event fencing barriers along the Mission Street side of the McDonald’s and other nearby businesses, received positively by local business owners and buyers. The situation raises questions about private establishment rights and safe environments for customers.

Breitbart: Breitbart Business Digest: Labor Market Is Still Running Hot
Breitbart Business Digest: Labor Market Is Still Running Hot
Despite popular beliefs, the labor market is still strong with impressive job growth and a tight labor market. The unemployment rate may have increased, but it came from a household survey, which is less reliable. With more jobs available than unemployed people, there is no evidence of a weakening labor market.
