The assault has raised concerns about the vetting of migrants and the asylum system in Europe and the United States.

Exclusive — MTG: FBI Holds 2 More Informant Files on Biden Business
The House Oversight Committee has subpoenaed two more banks after Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene revealed that the FBI holds two other informant files on the Biden family’s business ventures. In exchange, the informant file alleges, Joe Biden and Hunter Biden received $5 million each in small sums through separate bank accounts.

Spectator USA: Trump is in uncharted territory
Trump is in uncharted territory
Former President Donald Trump has been indicted on 38 federal charges in the classified documents case, including 31 counts related to withholding national defense information. The indictment claims that classified documents stored by Trump at Mar-a-Lago could put at risk the safety of the United States military, as well as human sources and sensitive intelligence collection methods. While many Americans may shrug at the news, the legal gravity of this case will have a seismic political impact, making it a political preoccupation for months to come.

Gov. Hobbs Vetoes GOP-Led Bill to Block Males From Using Female Bathrooms
Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs vetoed a Republican-backed bill that would block transgender males from using female public school bathrooms. The bill would have required schools to provide transgender students with their own restroom facility, but would not have allowed them to use restrooms designated for the gender they identify as. The bill was criticized by Democrats and Hobbs for being discriminatory against LGBTQ+ youth. State Senator John Kavanagh, who sponsored the legislation, criticized Hobbs' decision and plans to continue to propose bills that would protect students from transgender exposure in school bathrooms and showers. +

'Bank of UnAmerica': Banking Giant Accused of Going 'Full Woke' by Consumer Group
Consumer advocacy group Consumers' Research has launched an ad campaign against Bank of America's environmental, social and governance policies. The "Bank of UnAmerica" ads accuse the institution of "going full woke" over home financing based on race and stopping loans to gun and fossil fuel industries. The campaign comes as CEO Brian Moynihan has defended the company's progressive ESG policies, which include plans to pressurise borrowers to reduce emissions. The bank said in 2018 that it would stop lending to gunmakers that manufacture certain weapons.

Prosecutor Karen Gilbert's History of 'Corruption' Clouds Trump Indictment
Karen Gilbert, the Justice Department prosecutor leading the case against former President Donald Trump regarding his alleged mishandling of classified documents, has a history of corruption and was reprimanded for secretly recording a defense lawyer and his investigator. Former Trump administration official Kash Patel called her "one of the most corrupt prosecutors from the Southern District of Miami," and questioned why she should be trusted on the case.

Prosecutors have obtained a transcript of a 2021 recording of Trump where he allegedly discussed possessing a classified document. The recording was allegedly made during a meeting of former aides at Trump's home in New Jersey, and features Trump discussing Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley and referencing classified materials. Legal experts have downplayed the recording as evidence, arguing that more proof of wrongdoing is needed to bring a case against Trump.

Key Player in Biden Documents Removal Was Caught Up in Bill Clinton-Era Chinagate Scandal
Kathy S. Chung, who oversees Joe Biden's vice presidential records and was interviewed by federal prosecutors and congressional investigators, was part of a team sanctioned for withholding and destroying key documents in the federal case pertaining to the sensitive records from a figure in the Chinagate fundraising investigation in the late 1990s. Biden was tasked with removing boxes containing classified documents from the White House and storing them in various private offices, including the China-funded Penn Biden Center, sparking concern for national security and its connection with China. Chung came into Biden's orbit through working with President Biden's son, Hunter, during the 1990s.

New Trump indictment over documents is a 'whole different ballgame,' says Jonathan Turley
Former President Trump has been formally indicted on charges relating to document handling and obstruction of justice as part of the Special Counsel investigation led by Jack Smith. The Miami indictment is being viewed as a "whole new ballgame" and contains "extremely damning" evidence, including direct quotes from the President encouraging others to withhold or conceal documents. Trump has been ordered to appear in federal court on Tuesday, and has already referred to the indictment as a "Boxes Hoax" on his social media platform, Truth Social. Federal prosecutors informed Trump's team of the charges shortly before he publicly announced them.

Views Are Mixed in South Dakota Town Over Trump's Latest Indictment
Residents of Aberdeen, South Dakota express mixed reactions to the recent indictment and 2024 presidential bid of Donald Trump. Some like Betty Rall feel the repeated criminal investigations are getting old and will increase Trump's poll numbers, while others like Lucille believe if Trump committed a crime, he should be held accountable and feel there are enough stupid people who would still vote for him. While some people like Ruth are more concerned with issues like mail-in ballot voting and the southern border crisis, others like Jay Hill hope to see new, young energy in the next presidential election, with fresh ideas to bring the country together and move it forward.

Trump accused Smith of being behind the IRS controversy and called him a "deranged lunatic." Smith successfully secured the corruption case against ex-Virginia governor, Robert McDonnell, ending with a unanimous loss in Supreme Court. Trump was charged with felony violations of national security laws and obstructing justice. Smith urged Americans to read the indictment against Trump, calling it a "gravity" of crimes.

The Federalist Papers: Timing of Trump Indictment Says It All - Damning Biden Leaks Emerged Right Before the News Broke
Timing of Trump Indictment Says It All - Damning Biden Leaks Emerged Right Before the News Broke
The US has two justice systems, one for Democrats and their allies and another for everyone else. The Justice Department is biased, going after those involved in the Jan. 6 chaos but not the ones who caused riots a year prior. Meanwhile, violent criminals remain free due to the refusal of state and local officials to prosecute them. The recent indictment of former President Trump in a classified documents case shows that even a presidential candidate and one-time commander-in-chief is not safe from the bias. This raises the question of whether Trump's indictment was timed to hide the Biden leaks .

President Biden and his son are accused of bribery in relation to Ukraine energy company Burisma. Although the intention behind the FBI's FD-1023 form is unclear as it will not be released publicly, it suggests damning evidence. Republicans viewed the document which reportedly shows that two Biden family members, Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden, each received $5 million from Burisma, a company Hunter sat on the board of from 2014 to 2019. However, the indictment of former President Trump for the second time in three months shows there has been a miscarriage of justice in America and that the Justice Department is no longer seeking justice. The timing of the two events suggests that Trump is facing the wrath of a system that is run by activist career bureaucrats who no longer care about the rule of law .

Ted Cruz Flattens Ted Lieu in War of Words Over 'Banana Republic' Claim on Trump Indictment
Former President Donald Trump faces impending indictment in the classified documents probe which has caused a flurry of reactions across the political spectrum. Republicans believe that this is an attack on the constitution and the rule of law, while Democrats view this as a legitimate indictment based on the evidence. The double standards currently on display from federal officials and the Biden White House are visible through the lack of indictment against Hillary Clinton over her private server scandal and Biden's scandal with classified documents. The indictment against Trump could set a dangerous precedent and lead to a cycle of retaliations between the parties if he goes to jail.

Scarborough Touts Wild Conspiracy Trump Sold Classified Docs to Saudis
MSNBC hosts Joe Scarborough and Claire McCaskill spread conspiracy theories that former President Donald Trump sold classified documents to Saudi Arabia in exchange for their oil production cuts, supposedly to hurt President Biden's popularity. However, there is no evidence to support this theory, and special counsel Jack Smith did not mention it in the indictment. Furthermore, Saudi Arabia's decision to cut oil production could simply be due to Biden calling them a "pariah" and threatening them with consequences for journalist Jamal Khashoggi's death. Scarborough's conspiracy theory is baseless and irresponsible.

‘Fundamentally Anti-American’: Two Prominent Republican Lawyers Rip Trump Indictment
Two legal experts, Jeff Clark and Mike Davis, have criticized the latest indictment against Donald Trump as being politically motivated. Davis argued that it is unlikely Trump can be charged with espionage if he declassified information, while Clark suggested that the indictment follows leaks too closely to be a coincidence, and could be grounds for dismissing the case due to jury pool poisoning. Some have pointed out the timing of the indictment, which came just after bribery allegations against Joe Biden were revealed.

Johnston Cuts Ties with Firm Contracted for Special Rapporteur PR Work: Report
David Johnston, special rapporteur on foreign election interference, cut ties with crisis communications firm Navigator after learning they also worked with Independent MP Han Dong, who resigned in March over allegations of liaising with Beijing regarding the detainment of Michael Kovrig and Michael Spavor. Dong denied the claims and in April launched a $15m defamation suit against Global News. Despite the ISR defending its contracting of Navigator for the investigation, all federal opposition parties questioned the rapporteur's tenure and relationship with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. The incident itself highlights the ongoing politics of the alleged Chinese influence in Canada.

The event was condemned by a member of the university's Students for Life chapter but no official comment has been made by the university or the LGBT group in question.

The region remains a stronghold for extremist groups. The Epoch Times: Government Needs to Tell Americans What It’s Doing With UFOs: Rep. Tim Burchett
Government Needs to Tell Americans What It’s Doing With UFOs: Rep. Tim Burchett
Congressman Tim Burchett (R-Tenn.) has called for greater transparency from Congress surrounding UFOs, after claims were made by government whistleblower David Charles Grusch that the US government had in its possession vehicles and bodies of non-human origin. Grusch, a combat air veteran of Afghanistan, was part of the UAP Task Force, investigating UFO sightings, and claimed that there is a decades-long, ongoing competition with other countries to “identify crashes/landings and retrieve the material for exploitation/reverse engineering”. Burchett also said that he believes Americans are entitled to know the truth about what the government is hiding from them, and that the military-industrial complex might try to seek profit out of the extraterrestrial debris in the Pentagon’s possession.

The Defense Department issued an unequivocal denial to Grusch’s claims, so far finding no verifiable information that substantiates any of his claims, nor finding any programs that concern the possession or reverse-engineering of extraterrestrial materials. The All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office said in a statement that it had established a safe and secure process for individuals to come forward with information related to its congressionally-mandated historical review, and welcomed the opportunity to speak with any former or current government employees or contractors who believe they have relevant information.

The Epoch Times: Debt Ceiling Deal Will Trim National Debt by $1.5 Trillion by 2033: CBO
Debt Ceiling Deal Will Trim National Debt by $1.5 Trillion by 2033: CBO
The Congressional Budget Office released a report confirming that President Biden and House Speaker Kevin McCarthy's debt ceiling agreement, signed into law earlier this month, could decrease the national debt and interest payments by $1.5 trillion to $18.8 trillion over the 2024-2033 period. While the national debt is still expected to be above $50 trillion by 2033, the budget watchdog notes that the Fiscal Responsibility Act (FRA) could lower this to $50.86 trillion. Penn Wharton Budget Model predicts that the FRA will also cut non-interest spending by $1.3 trillion over the upcoming decade. However, the report warns that the debt ceiling agreement does not guarantee that Congress will stay committed to spending caps after 2025.

Economists are warning that the nation's fiscal outlook has deteriorated over the past year with rising deficits and a structural mismatch between spending and revenue. In a recent report, The Peter G. Peterson Foundation published that the debt-to-GDP ratio is likely to exceed 200 percent by 2051. While lawmakers have indicated that the current situation was affected by the pandemic, officials from the Government Accountability Office suggest that it existed well before the outbreak. Federal spending is projected to continue to outpace revenue via Social Security, Medicare/Medicaid, and net interest on the debt. Economist Laurence Kotlikoff says that continual government overspending will destroy the economic future of the country, with the nation's fiscal pastime being "kicking the can down the road."
