New York at War With Itself Over Where to Put All of Biden's Invited Illegal Aliens
New York City Mayor Eric Adams plans to house incoming illegal aliens at JFK International Airport, but nine Republican congressmen have complained about the potential safety risks. The outlying counties of the state are playing a game of hot potato with the thousands of illegal aliens that Joe Biden invited into the U.S. A judge has ordered a county executive to accept some of the illegal immigrants but has also temporarily stopped other counties from enforcing similar orders. The situation is politically messy, with a growing crisis in New York City and suburban counties that don't want the immigrants settling in their area, and Biden seems to be ignoring the problem.

Special Counsel Jack Smith: 'We Have One Set of Laws in This Country'
Special Counsel charges President Trump for mishandling classified information and upholding rule of law. Smith emphasizes importance of laws protecting national defense information, but doesn't explain why they weren't applied to Clinton or Biden. No explanation given for indicting a leading opposition candidate in the midst of an election.

PJ Media: Trump Is Facing ONE HUNDRED YEARS in Prison
Trump Is Facing ONE HUNDRED YEARS in Prison
The indictment of Donald Trump could lead to a possible 100-year prison sentence if he is convicted, with charges including willful retention of national defense information and conspiracy to obstruct justice. The Leftist ideologues in charge of the "Justice" Department may be seeking to make an example of him and crush any potential future challengers to their regime. Terror is a hallmark of Leftist regimes, and this double standard is glaring and meant to show the American people what can happen to them if they resist the regime, with the possibility of a century in prison for Trump and the questionable imprisonment of those involved in the Capitol riots.

Former President Trump is facing a "speedy trial" for the 37 felony counts he has been indicted with, according to Special Counsel Jack Smith. The charges include mishandling of sensitive documents at Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate and participating in a conspiracy to obstruct justice. He will also face trial in New York for allegedly falsifying business records. Smith emphasized the importance of adhering to the rule of law and upholding U.S. national defense information's protection, which is critical to the safety and security of the country.

These Republicans Criticized Trump Over Indictment—Breaking GOP Ranks
Former President Donald Trump was indicted by the Department of Justice over his handling of classified documents. While many Republicans expressed support for him, some big names in the party, including Asa Hutchinson, Chris Christie, and Mitt Romney, called for an end to his campaign, saying "no one is above the law." However, at least two of Trump's fellow candidates, Vivek Ramaswamy and Nikki Haley, voiced their support for him and criticized what they perceive as "double standards" in the justice system.

Hillary Clinton Enters the Hall-of-Fame of Shamelessness With Response to Trump Indictment
Conservatives criticized the politicization of the Biden administration's DOJ after the indictment of Trump. Meanwhile, Hillary Clinton shamelessly attempted to fundraise off the indictment of her political opponent and bragged about getting away with similar crimes.

FBI Official Says Feds Breached Protocol In Mar-A-Lago Raid
Former FBI official Steven D'Antuono testified to the House Judiciary Committee that President Joe Biden's Department of Justice breached protocol when it executed a search warrant on former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home. D'Antuono said that the DOJ and FBI broke protocols designed to prevent the partisan targeting of Americans and that the Miami Field Office should have conducted the search instead.

New York Times Avoids Tough Questions for Gov. Newsom
The New York Times conducted a puffball interview with California Governor Gavin Newsom, failing to ask any tough questions. The Epoch Times writer highlights key foreign policy issues, such as Newsom's decision not to bring up China's exploitation of child labor in Congo, despite signing a Memo of Understanding to deepen climate and clean energy ties with China. Other issues the writer raises involve the governor's record on education, homelessness, and crime in the state.

National Review: Debt-Ceiling Deal Only Shows Washington Is Half-Working (at Best)
Debt-Ceiling Deal Only Shows Washington Is Half-Working (at Best)
Washington passed a bipartisan debt-ceiling deal preventing a default, but it did not affect the long-run trajectory of the debt. The negotiations excluded the Senate, which is not how the constitutional order is supposed to work. The House is still not as decentralized as it could be, and political leaders successfully avoided having to make any hard decisions that could have been unpopular.

Trump Lawyers Suddenly Resign After Indictment—Latest Shakeup To Legal Team
Two attorneys representing former President Trump in a Department of Justice probe into handling of classified documents have quit but no reason was given; John Rowley and Jim Trusty will no longer represent Trump in either the classified documents or an ongoing Justice Department investigation into his role in the January 6 insurrection. Trump will now be represented in the case by Todd Blanche, who also represents him in a separate Manhattan Criminal Court case over alleged hush money payments, and a "firm to be named later". The former president appears to face charges of obstruction and willfully retaining national defense secrets, as well as conspiracy to obstruct justice.

Trump Indictment Throws 2024 Election Into Chaos
The indictment of former President Donald Trump for unauthorized possession of classified documents has shaken up the 2024 presidential campaign, with Republican candidates forced to choose between attacking him or risk alienating his loyal supporters. Some strategists believe the indictment could be a blessing for Trump, energizing his base and boosting his fundraising. However, the charges have produced cracks in Republican support, with some lawmakers attacking President Biden for allegedly using the Justice Department to benefit himself. Despite the controversy, Trump continues to lead in polls and is expected to campaign for 2024.

The indictment of former President Trump has produced cracks in Republican support, with some candidates attacking him while others prefer to focus on the alleged politicization of the Justice Department. Former Gov. Chris Christie has criticized Trump's behavior and warned that his legal problems could be a liability in the general election. Some experts believe the indictment will not harm Trump's support in the short term, but others predict he may lose the undecided Republican vote. The charges against Trump are similar to those made against his 2016 opponent, Hillary Clinton, for mishandling classified documents. The controversy is likely to be "terribly divisive" for the country, according to former Vice President Mike Pence.

Reagan-era Interior Secretary James Watt dead at 85
James Watt, the conservative pro-development Interior Secretary under Ronald Reagan, died on May 27 at the age of 85. Watt was known for his strong stance against environmentalism and his efforts to grant oil, gas, and coal leases on public land as well as limit the expansion of national parks and monuments, positions that drew criticism from environmentalists. He resigned in 1983, succeeded by William Clark, after insulting a coal advisory panel and fanning controversy over an attempt to ban music from the National Mall on the Fourth of July. In addition to his time in lawmaking, he worked as a consultant but also came under investigation for corruption in the Department of Housing and Urban Development.

'What Was in the Mind of Donald Trump?' Jonathan Turley Says Indictment Case Comes Down to Single Issue
Legal scholar Jonathan Turley questions the mind of former President Donald Trump following his indictment on seven criminal charges relating to mishandling classified documents discovered at his Mar-A-Lago resort. Trump, who maintains his innocence, is the first former president to face federal criminal charges. The indictment will be decided based on mens rea, or whether Trump knew that what he was doing was wrong, according to Turley. With the charges being secondary to the original basis for the removal or retaining of the documents, Trump could be convicted if it's proved that he falsified a fact in a discussion with the FBI.

'Fast & Furious' Actor Blasts Hollywood, He Knows What They're Trying to Do with the Devil
Singer and actor Tyrese Gibson is calling out Hollywood's obsession with Satan as it becomes more prevalent and blatant in the industry. Gibson recommended speaking out about Jesus' blessings in our lives to oppose the rising darkness. Actor James Woods confirmed Hollywood's shady behaviors when a fan asked about the evil that goes on in Tinseltown, to which Woods answered, "Multiply your worst fears by 100." With so many people coming forward and exposing incredibly concerning behavior, where does this lead our society, culture, and ultimately, our politics?

Conservative rapper Forgiato Blow claims he is facing censorship and has lost millions in career earnings due to his outspoken support for former President Trump. He said he has been banned from social media sites Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. Despite this, his song Boycott Target reached number one on Apple's iTunes charts, beating artists such as Taylor Swift, and Luke Combs. The song led to calls to boycott Target over its recent launch of LGBT merchandise aimed at children, including a range of clothing and a swimsuit designed to conceal genitalia. The retailer has since removed some of the Pride merchandise from its shelves.

The Corner: Charles Blow Says Pro-Child Laws Are ‘Terrorism’
Charles Blow claims that LGBTQ people are in a state of emergency due to recent laws passed against gender-reassignment surgery for minors and the use of preferred pronouns in public schools. Blow compares these laws to “terrorism” and “burning a cross on someone’s lawn”, and argues that Republican legislators are leading America towards a new era of “Jim Queer”. Blow asserts that these laws are motivated by malice, and that conservatives see transgender people as “Frankenstein’s monster in lipstick”. However, Blow ignores the real concern for the welfare of children, and trivializes some of the darkest moments in American history.

Activision faces backlash after yanking Call of Duty streamer over comment on LGBTQ 'Pride' in schools
Activision has deleted a collaboration with streamer Nick Kolcheff, known as "Nickmercs," of the "Call of Duty" franchise after he tweeted that a school board voting to designate June as LGBTQ Pride month should "leave little children alone." Kolcheff argued that parents, not teachers, should have those conversations with their children. Activision pulled the Nickmercs-themed in-game costume bundle from "Warzone" and "Modern Warfare II." The tweet has tapped into a national debate in the US about Pride celebrations and the extent to which children should be encouraged or even mandated to participate in them.

Intense fighting erupts in Ukraine as counterattack begins
Reports indicate heavy fighting in Ukraine, with the long-anticipated counterattack underway. Germany and the United States have reportedly provided Ukraine with armor and air defense as part of the effort, which is expected to involve thousands of Ukrainian troops. The battle is inarguable, but it is unclear whether Ukraine is successfully penetrating Russian defenses in its efforts to remove occupying forces.

US Says Iran Helping Build Drone Factory in Russia
Iran is reportedly providing materials for a drone-making factory in Russia that could be operational next year and produce drones for use in Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The US released photographs showing the location the plant "will probably be built." Iran has consistently deployed weapons in Ukraine since agreeing to ship more missiles and drones in October 2022. Meanwhile, universities in the United Kingdom have helped the Iranian government improve its military technology, which has likely been used in Iranian weapons deployed in Ukraine. The Biden administration imposed sanctions on some Iranian officials for planning assassinations of figures, including some in the United States. Iran also recently unveiled a new missile it says can get through Israel's defenses.

Foreign Policy: Ukrainians Are Accusing Russia of Ecocide. What Does That Mean?
Ukrainians Are Accusing Russia of Ecocide. What Does That Mean?
The ruptured dam in Ukraine has displaced many and killed an unknown number of people. Growing evidence suggests that it was due to Russian action. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky called it an "act of Russian aggression," a "war crime," and "an act of terrorism," and Ukraine’s prosecutor’s office has launched an ecocide probe into the effects of the destruction. Ecocide, a combination of "ecology" and "genocide," has no widely accepted legal meaning, but is popular within the environmental movement as a tool for prosecuting actors who cause environmental destruction. It could eventually have international legal force within the specific context of war.

Reports reveal that the Arab nation's agreement with the U.S. could be dependent on boosted defense sales and approval for a Saudi nuclear program. Despite U.S. efforts to mend relations with the Arab country, Saudi leaders have shown a lack of interest in aligning with U.S. policies in the region.

Reviving the West’s Sense of the Transcendent
Globalist oligarchs seek to undermine Western civilization's Christian foundation and degrade humanity through secularism and moral deviancy to control the population. Modern man's loss of the sense of the transcendent leads to passivity, cynicism, selfishness, and hedonism, resulting in a crumbling civilization. The first and biggest step to revive the West's connection to the sublime is to revive religious life, communal, ritualized worship, and great art and music.

Children’s Commissioner Calls for Regulation of 'Wild West’ Disposables Vapes Market
The Children’s Commissioner for England has called for disposable vapes to be banned and other e-cigarettes sold in plain packaging to deter young people from vaping. Research has shown that children are worried about peer pressure and are being exposed to marketing on social media. Vapes confiscated from students have shown dangerously high levels of chemicals. Last year, 9% of 11-to-15-year-olds inEngland regularly used e-cigarettes. The rise was greatest among girls aged 15. A loophole permitting retailers to give vape samples to children is to be closed and a review of rules on fining shops that sell vapes to children is planned.

Fox News: Trump-appointed judge is assigned to oversee classified documents indictment
Trump-appointed judge is assigned to oversee classified documents indictment
Former President Donald Trump’s case handling of classified documents at his Mar-a-lago resort will be presided over by Judge Aileen Cannon, who was nominated to the bench by Trump in 2020. Cannon has faced criticism for her handling of the case in earlier stages. She will handle initial court proceedings after the arraignment and her name appeared on a sealed federal summons issued to Trump to appear in court Tuesday afternoon. Trump was indicted on Thursday on 37 felony counts including willful retention of national defense information, conspiracy to obstruct justice, and false statements.

Cannon was thrust into the spotlight last year when she issued what many legal experts saw as an extraordinary and unusually broad decision to appoint a "special master" to review the documents seized by the FBI. As part of that case, Cannon temporarily barred federal agents and prosecutors from reviewing a batch of classified documents seized during the search. Her order was ultimately thrown out by a federal appeals court, which found she had overstepped.

The Epoch Times: Driverless Cars Are Causing Havoc in San Francisco, Residents Say
Driverless Cars Are Causing Havoc in San Francisco, Residents Say
Self-driving cars in San Francisco have caused disruptions and safety concerns, with at least 53 companies testing their vehicles in the city. Waymo and Cruise, owned by General Motors, are currently testing their autonomous vehicles in San Francisco. Critics say the technology could worsen traffic congestion and endanger pedestrians while advocates say they will make roads safer and significantly reduce carbon emissions. The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency issued a letter to California’s Public Utilities Commission in January citing 92 reported incidents from May 29 to December 31, with most the incidents taking place on key roads where public transport and cars transport tens of thousands of passengers every day.

Despite increasing local opposition due to safety concerns, the California Public Utilities Commission, which has been generous in granting self-driving permits to car companies, recently authorized Waymo and Cruise to operate their vehicles in the San Francisco Bay Area, as part of the state’s driverless pilot programme. Cruise, in particular, has been given permission to test 30 autonomous vehicles for passenger use in San Francisco, and allowed to charge for rides. Two draft resolutions to allow both Cruise and Waymo to collect fares from passengers and to expand service areas are scheduled for a hearing at the end of June.
