The Epoch Times: Nothing to See Here but a Credible Whistleblower Accusing the President of Bribery
Nothing to See Here but a Credible Whistleblower Accusing the President of Bribery
President Biden has been accused by a credible informant of allegedly taking $5 million in “a bribery scheme with a foreign national” while he was vice president. An unclassified FD-1023 form used by law enforcement has documented the accusation, but the FBI has refused to hand it to Congress, and mainstream media has shown no curiosity. There isn’t a real journalist who wouldn’t want to read an informant’s account of a sitting president taking a bribe. Though there is circumstantial evidence that Joe Biden participated in his family’s shady business, this makes the existence of this document highly newsworthy.

Almost a year ago, former Trump White House adviser Peter Navarro was indicted and arrested by the FBI for ignoring a congressional subpoena by the Jan. 6 commission. Today, it’s the FBI ignoring subpoenas, and there will be no one to arrest FBI Director Christopher Wray for contempt. Jaw-dropping hypocrisy from politicians, a politicized Justice Department protecting Democrats, and complete abdication of journalistic responsibility from a partisan big media have become massive problems.

MSNBC Is 'Concerned' Trump Judge Will Not 'Oversee A Fair Trial'
Trump-appointed Judge Aileen Cannon will preside over a Trump indictment case, raising concerns about impartiality due to her previous rulings, according to MSNBC coverage. NBC senior executive editor for national security David Rohde said he is concerned about Cannon's appointment, as she made some unusual rulings overturned quickly by her superiors, and Weissmann argued she might be asked to recuse herself. While it's possible Cannon got the case because of her previous involvement in it, Weissmann suggested that she does not seem up to the challenge and that it will be interesting to see whether she stays on the case.

Rachel Maddow Openly Suggests DOJ Drop Trump Charges If He Drops Out of Presidential Race
MSNBC's Rachel Maddow proposed a plea deal that could involve former President Donald Trump facing a reduced sentence if he agrees not to run for president in 2024. The discussion took place after news broke that Trump faces federal charges over his handling of classified documents. Maddow's comments have sparked controversy, with close Trump allies suggesting that the case is being leveraged to deter Trump from the 2024 race.

'Sportswash': Congress Introduces Bill Aimed at PGA Tour-LIV Merger
The PGA Tour and LIV Golf plan to merge, but congressional Democrats are not happy with the union, which they call a sportswashing of Saudi Arabia's human rights record. They believe that the PGA should be ashamed of ignoring human decency to make money and becoming Saudi shills. It is unclear what the specific intent behind the Democrats' bill is, but it likely includes tax revenue.

The Federalist: DOJ's Election Interference Is Worse Than What The Russians Did
DOJ's Election Interference Is Worse Than What The Russians Did
The DOJ's plan to indict former President Trump has caused excitement among Democrats and their media followers, despite their previous concerns about election interference. The move is unprecedented in that American intelligence agencies abused their power to target a potential presidential nominee for a major political party, while withholding evidence of a likely candidate's criminal activities. The contrast between this and Russia's interference in the 2016 election reveals a troubling fact – interference is expected from adversaries, not from the government itself.

‘We Should All Celebrate’: Hollywood Reacts To Trump Indictment
Hollywood celebrities like Rob Reiner, George Takei, Michael Rapaport, Ana Navarro, Alyssa Milano, Billy Baldwin, and Ron Perlman celebrated after former president Donald Trump was indicted again, this time for allegedly violating the Espionage Act because of how he handled classified documents. Reiner tweeted, "Indictment . Couldn't happen to a nicer Criminal. More to come," while Takei tweeted, "Happy federal indictment day to all who celebrate! And we should all celebrate." Rapaport posted a video showing him dancing around and laughing hysterically, and Navarro retweeted a CNN post saying, "Former President Donald Trump has been indicted in the special counsel’s classified documents probe." Milano tweeted, "," while Baldwin criticized Republicans for still supporting Trump despite his numerous allegations. Perlman commented on how Trump's reaction to the indictment was even more "lowlife" than the indictment itself, questioning whether he was finally approaching irrelevancy.

The Epoch Times: Musk Issues Warning to DOJ System After Trump Indicted
Musk Issues Warning to DOJ System After Trump Indicted
Elon Musk warns DOJ against "differential enforcement" after ex-President Trump is indicted on multiple federal charges for mishandling classified records. Federal prosecutors unsealed the indictment on Friday, which also named former aide Waltine Nauta. Attorney General Merrick Garland remained out of cameras' view and DOJ has not commented publicly. White House principal deputy press secretary Olivia Dalton stated that President Biden respected the independence of the DOJ and emphasized that the administration had found out about the indictment along with everyone else. Trump reacted to the indictment on Thursday and Friday, claiming the DOJ's case is election interference and witch hunt. Legal experts say he can still run for president if convicted.

National Review: The Corner: Republicans Should Reject the Comey Precedent
The Corner: Republicans Should Reject the Comey Precedent
Donald Trump is facing a political prosecution involving alleged mishandling of classified documents and obstruction of investigation. Trump's defense and his opponents are arguing that the indictment is politically motivated. The case has drawn comparisons to Hillary Clinton's email scandal, which involved similar misconduct, but differed in how the Department of Justice handled it. Republicans rejected the standard set by former FBI Director James Comey for prosecuting Clinton, and they should refuse to ratify it now in Trump's case. Comey's bungling of the Clinton case confirmed the wisdom of their skepticism toward him.

The Epoch Times: Trump, Not Governor Kemp, to Star at Georgia Republican Convention
Trump, Not Governor Kemp, to Star at Georgia Republican Convention
The Georgia GOP convention is set to take place in Columbus, but Governor Brian Kemp and most of his cabinet will not be attending. Presidential candidate Donald Trump is expected to arrive and speak on June 10, following his announcement on social media that he's been indicted on federal charges. Political scientists warn of a rift in the Georgia Republican Party between Kemp's leadership and Trump's grassroots following the 2020 presidential election and the Georgia runoffs, but Republicans downplay the divide and say that the convention will widen the tent.

The Epoch Times: Strong Families (Help) Keep Big Government at Bay
Strong Families (Help) Keep Big Government at Bay
Canadian policies are diluting the definition of family, even to the point of meaninglessness. Ontario's All Families Are Equal Act of 2016 erased recognition of the natural family from the law and instead allowed up to four adults to sign a pre-conception parentage agreement to become legal parents, even if they had no biological or legal relationship with each other or the child. This trend of diminishing the importance of biological ties is reducing the family's independence and stability. However, ample historical evidence shows the family is a bulwark against totalitarianism and government overreach, as it conveys and protects its own values, often in opposition to prevailing political demands.

MPs Concerned Over UK Universities' Alleged Role in Developing Iranian 'Suicide Drones'
British universities have collaborated with Iranian researchers on drone technologies that have potential military applications, according to a report by The Jewish Chronicle. Many of the research projects were undertaken with Iranian universities that have been sanctioned by the UK, the EU, and the United States. Shadow Foreign Secretary David Lammy called on the government to “urgently investigate whether or not UK universities and academics have breached UK sanctions on Iran regarding collaboration on military technologies.” An analysis by The Jewish Chronicle identified “hundreds of projects” that involved collaborations between British researchers and institutions and Iranian universities that have been sanctioned over their involvement with the Iranian regime’s nuclear programme.

The Epoch Times: Foreclosures Are On the Rise in America as Inflation Squeezes Households
Foreclosures Are On the Rise in America as Inflation Squeezes Households
Foreclosures surged in May, with a 38% jump in repossessions as the cost of living continues to climb, the latest real estate data from ATTOM shows. Foreclosure-related filings increased 7% from April to May to 35,196, representing a 14% YoY rise. Lenders repossessed 4,020 properties through completed foreclosures, up 38% from April and 41% YoY. Illinois had the highest rate of foreclosure filings, followed by Maryland, New Jersey and Florida. Foreclosure activity remains near pre-pandemic lows but the increase in May is indicative of deepening stress in the US housing market.

Growing numbers of derelict properties and vacancy rates in US cities is leading to a "zombie office" phenomenon, says Richard Rubin, CEO of Repvblik. He warns that ageing commercial properties with declining cash flow face a reckoning while David Hunt, CEO of Cantor Fitzgerald, says around 20% of the US office market will soon hand back the keys to landlords. There are more than $1.5tn worth of office loans due in the next three years, a third of which will be foreclosed on or returned as deeds in lieu of foreclosure, warns Howard Lutnick, CEO of PGIM Real Estate. Experts are concerned about a possible collapse of the commercial real estate market with the consensus view that the fallout could hurt the residential housing market as well.
