Breitbart: Trump Jr. on Father's Indictment: 'We're Living in 3rd World Banana Republic'
Former President Trump has been indicted on federal charges, with his son, Donald Trump Jr., accusing the Biden administration of corruption and meddling in the 2024 presidential election. The charges, which have not been specified, relate to a classified documents case and have been brought by Special Counsel Jack Smith, who previously brought charges against the President of Kosovo. The Trump campaign has released a statement condemning the "politically weaponized" Department of Justice and asserting that the former president did not break any laws.
PJ Media: Nothing To See Here but a Credible Whistleblower Accusing the President of Bribery
President Biden is accused of taking $5 million in a foreign bribery scheme while he was vice president. An FBI informant came forward with allegations, but the FBI refuses to hand over the document to Congress, and there is little curiosity from the media. Despite evidence of the Biden family's shady business dealings, Democrats are deflecting and FBI Director Christopher Wray is ignoring subpoenas.
Breitbart: DeSantis Criticizes DOJ's ‘Zealous’ Prosecution of Donald Trump
Gov. Ron DeSantis criticized the DOJ's "zealous" prosecution of former President Donald Trump and promised to bring accountability to the DOJ if elected president. DeSantis discussed the "mortal threat to a free society" that the weaponization of federal law enforcement represents and questioned why federal prosecutors were so aggressive in pursuing Trump but passive about Hillary Clinton and Hunter Biden. Trump was indicted by federal prosecutors over his handling of White House documents and will have to appear in court. Critics accused DeSantis of displaying "weakness" in his initial statement when news of the Manhattan DA's indictment against Trump broke in March.
Breitbart: McCarthy Bashes Trump Indictment as 'Grave Injustice,' Vows Accountability
House Speaker Kevin McCarthy defended former President Donald Trump after news of federal charges against him in a special counsel probe over classified documents emerged. McCarthy called the indictment on the 2024 Republican presidential front-runner “unconscionable” and accused the Justice Department of “weaponizing” its power against Biden’s political opponent. He added that Republicans would investigate the matter with the House Judiciary Committee leading the probe. Trump has been charged with violation of the Espionage Act, obstruction of justice, and destruction or falsification of records, among others.
Townhall: Gov. Youngkin Puts Virginians First with RGGI Withdrawal
The Virginia State Air Pollution Board removed Virginia from the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI) carbon market in a 4-3 vote on Wednesday, securing a vital victory for Governor Glenn Youngkin (R-VA), who frequently equated RGGI to a carbon tax. Virginia Democrats attempted to draw a connection between RGGI withdrawal and smoke from wildfires currently blanketing Virginia, but such efforts failed. Youngkin prioritized RGGI withdrawal because the carbon trading scheme delivers few to no environmental returns, results in high utility bills for residences and businesses, and leads to a carbon tax imposed on producers that ultimately gets passed to consumers.
Breitbart: WATCH -- Trump Attorney Slams Indictment: 'They Picked the Wrong Guy'
Trump's attorney criticized the indictment against the former president, saying it shows a two-tier system of justice and that Trump is being unfairly targeted. She also expressed her sympathy for Trump and her belief that he should be back in the White House. Trump himself called the indictment election interference and declared his innocence, while Charlie Kirk called on Republican candidates to show solidarity by traveling to Miami.

Townhall: America: Intentions and Results, Part One
The concept of freedom has been shaped by Western traditions, particularly the idea of political freedom which arose from ancient Greece and Rome. This type of freedom means freedom from governmental tyranny, enabling people to choose their leaders and limit their power. However, freedom needs moral boundaries too, in order to prevent immoral behavior and chaos. The lack of a unified moral standard in American society has led to a decline into licentiousness and division, and only a return to true political and moral freedom can save the country.

The Epoch Times: COVID Causes Brain Cells to ‘Fuse and Malfunction’, Study Finds
COVID-19 can cause neuron cell fusion, leading to chronic symptoms in the nervous system which may explain many neuropsychiatric syndromes caused by the virus. A new study published in Science Advances by the Queensland Brain Institute shows it is a major cause of neurological clinical symptoms, still unexplored. The detrimental effect of spike protein made by the virus could explain why many vaccinated people have reported neurologic symptoms .
A study found that even mild cases of COVID-19 can lead to brain changes, with a reduction in thickness of grey matter, causing negative outcomes in mental abilities to perform complex tasks. Researchers from the Wellcome Centre for Integrative Neuroimaging at the University of Oxford used brain scans from the UK Biobank, which contains information on approximately 500,000 UK residents. Even though 96% of the participants had mild symptoms, there was a greater loss of grey matter volume and tissue damage in infected participants. Additionally, it was found that mental worsening was partly related to these brain abnormalities and was more marked at older ages .

Townhall: Antisemitism Is Alive and (Un)well All Over the Internet Today
Antisemitism remains a deep-rooted hatred that has endured for over 23 centuries, with no signs of abating, particularly online where conspiracy theories are abundant. A video titled “Why Have Jews Been Kicked Out of So Many Countries?” which refuted common antisemitic libels drew out typical antisemitic comments to the point where most comments posted violated the site’s guidelines and had to be deleted. The Jews were typically demonized, becoming scapegoats for the latest calamity or tragedy, blamed for being parasites or greedy and corrupt. Despite suffering due to divine judgment for having rejected god, the Jews have also suffered due to the hatred of their enemies.
The Epoch Times: NZ Government Agency Bans Staff Form Using AI Platforms
The New Zealand Ministry of Business, Innovation, and Employment (MBIE) has banned employees from using AI technology due to data and privacy concerns, with companies like Apple, Samsung and Amazon also banning the technology. Governments across the world are now attempting to regulate the use of AI, with the Australian government announcing "guardrails" will be put in place and the Canadian privacy watchdog investigating ChatGPT specifically. Meanwhile, US government officials have begun to express concerns over how AI can enable surveillance with representative Jay Obernolte suggesting China could be using AI to create a "surveillance state".
