National Review: Hillary Clinton Trolls Donald Trump, Promotes ‘But Her Emails’ Merch in Response to Indictment
Hillary Clinton promoted her "But Her Emails" merchandise on Twitter after former President Donald Trump's indictment in a classified-documents investigation. This investigation is separate from the New York State probe that indicted Trump over hush-money payments to a porn performer. Clinton's hats were originally launched as a parody nodding at Democratic grievances about Trump's criticism of her use of a private email server while serving as secretary of state. Trump announced that special counsel Jack Smith had informed his legal team of the indictment, making him the first former president to face federal criminal charges.
The Federalist Papers: 90 Minutes After Learning of His Indictment, Trump Was Spotted Fully in His Element: Report
Former President Donald Trump was informed that he had been indicted whilst at his Bedminster, New Jersey, golf club. Despite being described as recognizing the historic nature of the events, Trump refused to change his plans and went ahead with dinner and played his iPad as a DJ. He went on to call into Fox News and declare his innocence, linking the indictment to allegations against now-President Joe Biden.

Breitbart: Mike Pence: 'I’m Deeply Troubled to See This — to See This Indictment Move Forward'
Former Vice President Mike Pence called the federal indictment against his former boss, Donald Trump, "deeply troubling" and urged for the facts to be examined. He emphasized that classified materials must be protected and that he took full responsibility for an innocent mistake made with his own records. Pence hopes that the American people will see justification for the unprecedented federal charge of a former president by the current president's Justice Department, but acknowledges that the indictment will be divisive for the country and sends a negative message to the world. He pledged to appoint men and women of integrity to clean house at the highest levels of the Justice Department if he becomes president.
Washington Free Beacon: Trump Lawyers Resign After Classified Docs Indictment
Two lawyers defending former President Donald Trump in a federal court case involving illegally retaining classified documents and obstruction charges have quit, potentially causing further legal complications. Trump's military valet, Walt Nauta, has also been charged alongside Trump. He went to work at Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort after leaving the White House, and his lawyer has declined to comment. Trump said on social media that he is being represented by white-collar defense lawyer Todd Blanche. The cases do not prevent Trump from campaigning or taking office if he were to win the November 2024 presidential election, even if he were convicted and sent to prison.
American Thinker: Cracker Barrel just told Bud Light to ‘Hold my beer’
Bud Light's endorsement of a man who pretends to be a little girl has caused backlash from its customer base. Cracker Barrel, facing an economic decline due to inflationary policies affecting its main customer base of older customers, has responded by promoting "Pride" on social media to appeal to a younger, leftist demographic. However, it remains to be seen whether this new customer base will spend money at the restaurant, and the move has angered existing customers who feel their values are being rejected.
Fox News: ABC's Stephanopoulos snaps at Trump lawyer for suggesting Biden leaned on DOJ: 'Ridiculous statement'
ABC anchor George Stephanopolous became frustrated during an interview with former President Donald Trump's lawyer, James Trusty, who claimed that the Department of Justice was abusing the law to hurt Trump while letting President Joe Biden get away with his own documents scandal. Stephanopolous dismissed Trusty's claims as "ridiculous" and "not just the Presidential Records Act." Trusty suggested that the indictment came down because of pressure from the "corrupt and politicized source" Biden administration, which is "weaponizing something that by statute is not a criminal offense." The exchange happened less than a day after Trump announced he had been informed of his indictment on federal charges for his alleged mishandling of classified documents.
Breitbart: Donald Trump's Next Steps: From Indictment to Trial and Beyond
Former President Donald Trump has been indicted on unknown charges, rumored to be related to his handling of classified documents and the Capitol riot on January 6th. Trump has agreed to surrender to authorities and will enter a plea, "presumably not guilty", before appearing before Judge Aileen Cannon. His legal team will try to quash the indictment or have the case dismissed, and if it proceeds, there may be a jury trial in Florida, a state he won in both 2016 and 2020, though it may be hard to find impartial jurors. The trial will test the strength of American society and its ability to maintain impartial justice.
The Epoch Times: Trump Announces Legal Team Shakeup After DOJ Indictment
Former President Donald Trump is changing members of his legal team in the federal case against him, which alleges he mishandled classified material. Todd Blanche and a law firm yet to be named will represent him, while attorneys John Rowley and Jim Trusty will not. The case, which Trump calls the “greatest witch hunt of all time,” is moving to the court system in Florida. MAGA! Legal experts say the cases will not prevent Trump from campaigning or taking office if he wins the 2024 presidential election. The White House has declined to comment on the case, claiming it will be independent.

The Epoch Times: Rule of Law Takes a Backseat as Identity Politics Runs Riot in Higgins Saga
The Brittany Higgins saga has exposed the abuse of power and the abandonment of long-held ideals of fairness and due process by those in positions of authority, including two prime ministers and senior members of the legal profession. The prevalent use of identity politics and the obsession with political gain have eroded the public trust in the criminal justice system, with the abandonment of the presumption of innocence and the failure to seek the truth being the casualties of this sordid affair.
The lack of transparency, the undisclosed settlement and the absence of an opportunity to test the allegations made against those accused of wrongdoing have further eroded the public trust in our justice system. The conflict between the police and the director of public prosecutions and the abandonment of trials and charges are all symptoms of an untenable situation that undermines the administration of justice. The damage to our cherished rule of law has already been done, with trust in the criminal justice system being seriously eroded.

The Epoch Times: Pentagon Defends 'Long-Standing Policy' Decision to Cancel Drag Shows on Military Base
The Department of Defense (DOD) has confirmed its ban on hosting drag show events at U.S. military installations, calling it "long-standing policy." The policy specifies that hosting such events is inconsistent with regulations that state "certain criteria must be met for persons or organizations acting in non-Federal capacity to use DOD facilities and equipment." Republican politicians have led the pressure to cancel the practice in the military and have introduced bills banning the use of taxpayer funds or taxpayer-funded facilities to host drag queen or adult cabaret performances. Forbes: Is Excessive Pentagon Spending Stealing Our Future?
A recent study by Brown University’s Costs of War Project reveals that excessive Pentagon spending on weapons and nuclear warheads for the Department of Energy is draining public investment from addressing present urgent needs, from public health, to housing, to environmental protection, undercutting the US’s ability to seed industries of the future. Other uses of funds produce more jobs than Pentagon spending for the same amount. The Pentagon’s overspending distorts the US’s ability to pursue a “diplomacy first” foreign policy. Reducing the military budget, bolstering diplomacy, and focusing on green energy development can save $1.3 trn over the next decade and make the US safer and more prosperous.

The New American: Ellen Page’s Story Proves that Transgenderism is Demonic Possession
Canadian actress Ellen Page claimed to hear a voice telling her she was transgender prior to undergoing gender reassignment surgery. Page experienced self-harm and was also a lesbian prior to identifying as a trans man. Experts argue that transgenderism goes beyond mental illness and is a question of demonic possession on a mass scale, with the self-destructiveness of transgenderism serving as a symptom of moral decline. Christians should refuse to use trans-inclusive language, as doing so elevates the power of demons, and they should instead encourage people to turn to God for healing.

The Epoch Times: Causes and Treatments of SIBO
Small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO) is a gut issue that occurs when bacteria migrate from the colon to the small intestine, causing a variety of symptoms such as abdominal pain, bloating, and constipation. SIBO is underdiagnosed, but research suggests it affects at least 6 to 15 percent of healthy people and up to 60 percent of people with irritable bowel syndrome. The key role of the small intestine is to absorb nutrients from food, and a bacterial invasion can disrupt this function, leading to nutrient deficiencies such as vitamin B12 and calcium deficiency, lactose intolerance, and deficiencies in zinc, iron, and vitamins A, D, E, and K. Natural treatments such as a low-FODMAP diet, herbal antimicrobials like peppermint oil, probiotics, and an elemental diet are effective in reducing SIBO symptoms and eradicating excessive bacteria.
Treatment for hydrogen-dominant SIBO is generally divided into phases. The first phase of eradication aims to kill off excessive bacteria in the small intestine. The standard antibiotic treatment is rifaximin, but herbal antimicrobials such as peppermint oil are also effective and less aggressive than antibiotics. Nutritional deficiencies can result from bacterial overgrowth, and the key to treating SIBO is to address the underlying causes. Abdominal surgery, structural problems in and around the small intestine, low levels of stomach acid, alcohol abuse, and certain medical conditions are some root causes of SIBO. Once the bacterial overgrowth is eradicated, it is important to address the underlying cause to prevent recurrence.
