CNN CEO Chris Licht has left his position, paving the way for a trio of Jeff Zucker disciples to lead the network on an interim basis. Virginia Moseley, Eric Sherling, and Amy Entelis, along with recently appointed COO David Leavy, will oversee CNN while the search for a permanent CEO is ongoing. Licht was never well received by Zucker's loyalists, and when he departed, many of CNN's most prominent reporters were distraught. There are concerns, however, that Virginia Moseley's appointment creates a conflict of interest, as she is married to Tom Nides, Biden's ambassador to Israel.
