The Blaze: Unpacking Liz Cheney’s commencement con-job
Liz Cheney's commencement speech at Colorado College is filled with never-Trumper glory, but Mark Levin calls her out on her self-righteousness and hatred for Trump. Half of the audience applauds her, while the other half turns their backs, but Levin argues that she only got the professor job because she hates Trump. Instead of focusing on the future and the students, Cheney talks about herself and her disagreements with Trump and conservatives.
Fox News: Twitter users mock CIA's pride post celebrating ‘rich history’ of 'LGBTQ+ officers': ‘Wildly dystopian’
The CIA's initiative to honor LGBTQ+ officers during pride month was met with criticism on Twitter for "re-branding". Critics accused the agency of promoting transgender extremist mutilation of children and attempting to conceal their past investigations into homosexuals. Some also labeled the move as "wildly dystopian" and a form of marketing to change the image of US foreign policy and intelligence agencies.
The Federalist Papers: CNN's New Leaders Announced - One Is Married to a Current Biden Appointee with Deep Clinton Ties
CNN is facing upheaval after the abrupt departure of CEO Chris Licht and is trying to find its identity outside being "anti-Trump". CNN has appointed three editorial executives who will be assisted by recently hired Chief Operating Officer. One of the unease for many is Virginia Moseley, CNN's Executive Vice President of Editorial, who is married to President Biden's ambassador to Israel and a man with deep ties to the Clinton political dynasty, suggesting that she might not be particularly receptive to pro-Republican coverage.
Forbes: Supreme Court Keeps Voting Rights Act Protections—Strikes Down Redrawn Alabama Map
The Supreme Court has struck down Alabama’s redrawn congressional map as racially discriminatory, with Chief Justice Roberts and Justice Kavanaugh joining the liberal justices. The map only had one majority-Black district and diluted residents’ votes outside of it, violating the Voting Rights Act. The ruling affirms the lower court’s decision and preserves the act’s protections.
Newsbusters: MSNBC Ignores Soros Connection to Extremist Group Smearing Moms as Bigots
Southern Poverty Law Center, funded by George Soros, put pro-parent education group Moms for Liberty on its “hate map” as a hate group. Moms for Liberty opposes leftist political agendas such as critical race theory and radicalized gender ideological indoctrination of children. MSNBC’s coverage of the incident did not mention the connection between SPLC and Soros, nor the smear campaign's hypocrisy. Soros' absurd vision is the disintegration of society to the point where the "individuals float around without any roots," which aligns with SPLC's defaming of conservative groups. Conservatives such as FRC have been the target of violence from those who found the group on the SPLC “hate map,” yet MSNBC failed to mention this important detail. Conservatives are under attack and people need to demand that the media stops giving a platform to these smearing campaigns .
PJ Media: University of Pittsburgh Hits Conservative Student Groups With Massive Security Fee for Event
The University of Pittsburgh charged conservative groups a $18,734 "security fee" for an event featuring Michael Knowles on the topic of transgenderism, causing the Alliance Defending Freedom to claim that the student's First Amendment rights were violated. The school's faculty and Provost also urged students to protest the event, ultimately leading to chaos and violence at the event that campus police failed to prevent. ADF is demanding that the fee be rescinded, guidelines for campus events be clarified, and compensation be given to ISI for damages.
Washington Free Beacon: NYC Mayor Blocked From Giving Six-Figure Job to Brother—But Hands One to His Sister-in-Law
NYC Mayor Eric Adams hired his sister-in-law Sharon Adams for a six-figure job in the Department of Education, after an ethics office blocked him from hiring his brother for a different position. This isn't the first time Adams has tried to hire his relatives: he previously attempted to give his brother a $210k role in the NYPD. Adams has also appointed friends to high positions in the city's government, such as giving the $240k job of NYPD deputy commissioner to Lisa White, a retired 911 operator who worked with Adams on an organization he cofounded.

Daily Wire: Twitter Users Compare Smoke-Covered NYC To Sci-Fi Movies: ‘Blade Runner,’ ‘Dune’
The skies over New York City turned reddish-orange due to hundreds of wildfires in Nova Scotia and Quebec. Social media users compared the scene to popular sci-fi movies such as "Blade Runner 2049" and "Dune". While officials labeled air quality "code red" and advised residents to stay indoors, the smoke and haze have also affected other major U.S. cities.
Fox News: Australia plans to ban swastikas, Nazi symbols
Australia plans to introduce legislation banning the display and trading of Nazi symbols on a national level due to a rise in far-right activity. Although most Australian states already have laws banning these symbols, this new legislation would extend across the entire country. It is unclear when a ban may pass or take effect, and will include a penalty for a maximum of a year in prison for those displaying these symbols. However, the use of the swastika for religious purposes will be excluded.
The Blaze: Deace: It’s time for my fellow conservatives to admit white privilege really is a thing
White privilege is real and it has blinded people to reality, causing them to isolate themselves from the world and pretend they have control over it. This has led to a lack of action against issues such as child grooming and the erasure of women in sports. The whitest thing ever is to hate ourselves and call it a victory.
Daily Wire: Bryan Cranston Said He Will Retire From Acting To Focus On Marriage: ‘We Want To Go The Distance’

Fox News: ‘Liberal woman’ goes viral on TikTok for saying it’s hard to find ‘masculine’ man who's not conservative
A woman on TikTok complains about not finding a masculine man who is not conservative. She wants a man who is willing to play the traditional masculine role but is also not a conservative. She wants a man who will pay on the first date and open doors for her. The video has received hundreds of thousands of views. She faces criticism from other users who question her logic. She responds by insisting that she just wants a man who has traditional values while also being progressive in social issues.
American Thinker: New Gallup poll shows nearly 40% of Americans identify as socially conservative…and that number is climbing
A Gallup poll shows that 38% of Americans identify as "conservative" on social issues and that the rate at which Americans are embracing social conservatism is increasing rapidly. From 2022 to this year, the increase in identification was almost double what it was from 2021 to 2022. The findings suggest that the culture wars are not losing issues, and in fact, they're the winners, and that conservative gains have put the "liberals" on the losing end. The survey comes at a time when many states are considering policies regarding transgender matters, abortion, crime, drug use and the teaching of gender and sexuality in schools.
Daily Wire: Poll: Support For Gender Binary Increases In America
A new poll by PRRI shows that 65% of Americans believe there are only two genders, up from 59% in 2021, with 50% feeling strongly about it. Support for the gender binary increased or remained constant in every polled demographic, with the most dramatic increases among "Other Protestants of Color" and Hispanic Catholics. The poll also revealed sharp partisan differences, with 90% of Republicans supporting the gender binary and 44% of Democrats agreeing.
Furthermore, 62% of Americans believe that "people spend too much time talking about their gender and pronouns," and 34% oppose teaching same-sex relationships in all stages of school. 36% oppose teaching transgenderism in K-12 schools at all stages, and most Americans believe that public schools interfere too much with parental rights.

Breitbart: Retired Australian F/A-18 Hornet Fighter Jets Could be Sent to Ukraine
Australia and the U.S. are discussing gifting 41 retired Royal Australian Air Force F/A-18 Hornet fighter jets to Ukraine, in order to help fulfill President Volodymyr Zelensky’s quest for air combat assets. The U.S. owns intellectual property on the F/A-18 and so would need to grant permission for the transfer, but reports suggest that the U.S. is “favorably disposed to the idea.” The transfer would be part of a coalition effort that includes supplying Ukraine with F-16s.
The Epoch Times: Attack on Russian Pipeline in Kharkiv Puts Black Sea Grain Deal at Risk
Saboteurs breached the world’s longest ammonia pipeline that pumped more than 2 million tons of Russian ammonia annually for distribution to global markets. It linked Russia’s western city of Togliatti to Ukraine’s Black Sea port of Pivdennyi near Odesa. The pipeline was used to pump Russian ammonia to the Black Sea through Ukrainian territory before Moscow’s invasion of Ukraine early last year. The damaged pipeline is linked to the Black Sea Grain Initiative, a landmark agreement between Russia and Ukraine signed last summer which allows Ukraine to continue exporting grain through the Black Sea. It also calls for “safe navigation for the export of fertilizers, including ammonia.” While Moscow insists that the transit of Russian ammonia--via the pipeline--should be resumed, Kyiv insists that the deal does not cover the transit of Russian ammonia through its territory. This presents an intractable challenge to the deal's survival.

Breitbart: Dual Loyalty Claims as Ex-EU Politician Becomes Turkish Family Minister
A former EU representative with dual citizenship (Belgian and Turkish) has become Turkey’s new family and social minister. The appointment of the first woman in the Brussels parliament to wear a headscarf has stirred up controversy amongst Belgian politicians and debates over whether dual citizens should be allowed to hold political office in the EU. The leader of populist Vlaams Belang party has called for a ban on people with dual citizenship from holding political office.
Fox News: Kamala Harris announces plans to invest $100 million to help the Caribbean with crisis, initiatives
U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris visited the Bahamas for a meeting of Caribbean and U.S. leaders and announced more than $100 million investment in the region to crackdown weapons trafficking, support climate change initiatives and alleviate Haiti’s humanitarian crisis. The U.S. Justice Department plans to appoint a coordinator to oversee cases involving illegal weapons smuggling in the Caribbean as violent crimes rise. U.S. officials said the worsening security situation requires a multinational force to Haiti. USAID will invest nearly $54 million in Haiti to help fight a sharp rise in starvation and provide access to potable water and healthcare, meanwhile, another $10.5 million will go towards supporting Haiti’s agricultural sector.
Fox News: UN investigators accuse Israel of 'delegitimizing' Palestinian human rights group with terrorism accusations
A UN report accused Israel of delegitimizing and silencing civil society by outlawing Palestinian human rights groups and labeling their members as terrorists. Israel designated seven Palestinian rights groups as terrorist groups in 2020 and 2021, effectively outlawing them and later raided and shut some of their offices; Israel argues that the groups are connected to the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine. The report also accuses both Hamas and the rival Palestinian Authority in the Israeli-occupied West Bank of committing rights violations. Lastly, the commission also criticized the rival Palestinian governments in the West Bank and Gaza, accusing them of targeting human rights activists "with the aim of silencing dissenting opinions."
Washington Free Beacon: US Suspends Food Aid to Ethiopia After Learning It’s Being Diverted and Sold
USAID has suspended food aid to Ethiopia due to a "widespread and coordinated campaign" diverting donations from the people who need it. USAID believes the food has been diverted to Ethiopian military units which appear to be orchestrated by federal and regional government entities. More than 20 million people require food aid in Ethiopia, mainly due to drought and the recently concluded war in the northern Tigray region. The USAID intends to resume food assistance once the integrity of the system is restored and the production and distribution is more effective. The HRDG briefing document recommended that Ethiopia's government allow donors to deliver aid through "alternative modalities" like cash transfers.

The Epoch Times: There’s No Such Thing as ‘Government Stimulus’
Economic pundits need to stop assuming that the Fed controls economic growth, when in fact it is productivity that attracts investment and drives the economy. The Wall Street Journal's Joseph Sternberg argues that the US economic slowdown will coincide with China's economic boom, which is a flawed, government-driven interpretation of the real reasons behind economic growth. Economic freedom, not central banks or legislators, has always been the driving force behind the remarkable dynamism of the US and China.

Red State: 'Embarrassing': Air Force Twitter Account Sparks Outrage After Going Way Too Far in Honor of ‘Pride Month'
The U.S. military's recruiting crisis can be attributed to the federal government's obsession with wokeness. The hostile work environment for straight, white, conservative males who are historically most likely to enlist due to policies like tolerating homosexual fetish sex rings involving senior officers and prioritizing solar power over training the Army to fight and win the first battle of the next war. The military is becoming emasculated, resulting in a decline in retention. The emphasis seems to be on placating those with hurt feelings over taking pride in America, as shown by the US Air Force Twitter account's tweet celebrating Pride Month, depicting a soldier saluting the Pride flag instead of the American flag.
Note: The date of the tweet is intentionally set in the future and is purely fictional.

The Epoch Times: Remembering the Horrors of D-Day
Seventy-nine years ago, the Allies launched a massive amphibious landing on the Normandy beaches, marking the largest of its kind since the Persians invaded Greece in 480 B.C. Despite the huge risks and devastating losses, the Allies ultimately succeeded in liberating western Europe, pushing into Germany, and ending the Nazi regime. This was only possible because of the bravery, determination, and unwavering belief in the United States of the soldiers who charged into battle, and the debt owed to them by future generations is immeasurable.

The Epoch Times: Industry Conspired to Conceal PFAS 'Forever Chemicals' Hazards for Decades, Study Shows
The chemical industry kept the harmful impact of "forever chemicals" known as per- and poly-fluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) hidden from public knowledge since the 1960s. Researchers from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), and the University of Colorado analyzed documents from DuPont and 3M, revealing that these corporations withheld crucial health information from employees and regulators. PFAS toxins are present in everyday items such as textiles, non-stick pans, and food packaging and also lurk in drinking water and food, infiltrating the human body and posing significant health risks. Legal battles and billion-dollar settlements related to PFAS have surged dramatically.
Fox News: New method of ‘reanimating’ hearts could expand number of donors by 30%
Researchers have found that hearts from circulatory-death donors, which were once considered too fragile for transplant, can be as successful as those from brain-dead donors if they are reanimated using a machine. Previously, heart donations were only obtained from brain-dead patients kept on ventilators. However, by using hearts from circulatory-death donors, a method long used to recover kidneys, a possible thousand more patients can have a chance at a life-saving transplant. The method involves removing the heart and using a machine to pump it with blood and nutrients as it’s transported, demonstrating it's functioning before a transplant.
The Epoch Times: Middletown Passes Resolution in Support of New Forensic Psychiatric Hospital
Middletown City Council approves plan for a new state forensic psychiatric hospital that will replace the old facility on the New Hampton campus, housing 300 beds with access to evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation services. Fox News: Seattle rejects bill to crack down on drug use despite overwhelming support from residents: 'Slap in the face'
Seattle City Council rejected a bill that would have made public drug use and possession a misdemeanour seeking treatment or recovery. Residents are criticizing the decision as the city faces addiction and homelessness crises. The ordinance had been designed to complement Washington State's new drug possession law, which punishes drug use and possession with up to 180 days in jail, a $1,000 fine, or both. The Downtown Seattle Association expressed its condemnation on behalf of residents, workers, families, and visitors feeling uneasy exploring or coming back to the city because of rising crime. Seattle may now be the only place in the state where drug use in public places is legal.
Breitbart: Lockdowns Had ‘Negligible Impact’ Compared to ‘Collateral Costs’ -- Study
A study by the Institute for Economic Affairs has found that lockdowns imposed by governments around the world during the coronavirus crisis had a "negligible" impact on loss of life compared to the steep costs on society. The Herby-Jonung-Hanke review found that lockdowns managed to reduce mortality by 3.2%, meaning that lockdowns prevented just 1,700 deaths in England and Wales, 6,000 deaths throughout Europe, and 4,000 deaths in the United States. The study also noted significant negative impacts on economic growth, public debt, economic inequality, children's education and health, health-related quality of life, mental health, and crime.
The Epoch Times: Health-Care Innovation Will Be Key to Smith’s Success as Premier
Alberta's broken health care system needs fixing. There is a shortage of physicians and nurses, long wait times for emergency responders and surgeries, and poor working conditions leading to burnout and high turnover rates. Premier Danielle Smith must support the continued use of private providers, implement activity-based funding, and do away with global budgeting to ensure timely delivery of health care. The NDP opposition party's stubborn and naïve reliance on universal health-care ideology is an obstacle to real health-care reform. The province's $2.4 billion dollar budget surplus could become an obstacle to making significant health-care reforms.

A California man who beat and shot a sheriff's deputy with her own gun has been found not guilty by a jury. Former Deputy Meagan McCarthy was responding to a 911 call from a mother in distress when she encountered Ari Young, who beat her to the ground, took her gun and fired at her. Although she survived, McCarthy retired due to post-traumatic stress. The verdict has been criticized, with concerns raised about anti-police bias in the jury. McCarthy's treatment could set a dangerous precedent and discourage law enforcement from acting in moments of crisis, it was warned.

Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson's new online show, "Tucker on Twitter," received over 70 million views within 24 hours of launching. Carlson was noted to be using a teleprompter controller to run his own prompter, causing former CNN host Brian Stelter to mock the new broadcast. Conservative viewers have always wanted the plain and simple truth from those who bring us the news to allow us to make up our own minds, and Carlson may be providing just that.
