Judge Roman, an Obama appointee, ruled that the first clause of the 14th amendment gives Muslim migrants the right to invade any part of New York City that they please. He claimed that the local governments are not allowed to interfere with any resettling project. This order is illegal and ignorant.

The Epoch Times: FBI Releases Biden Document to House Oversight, Averting Contempt Vote
The House Committee on Oversight and Accountability has abandoned plans to hold FBI Director Christopher Wray in contempt after he produced unverified reports claiming Joe Biden had accepted a bribe from a foreign national. The reports were collected on unclassified FD-1023 forms and used a confidential source who had worked with the FBI for over a decade. The Oversight Committee has previously threatened to hold Wray in contempt if he did not produce the documents, but late Wednesday, the FBI backed down and handed over some documents leading to the vote being scrapped.

Euromaidan Press: Destruction of Kakhovka Dam continues, reservoir water levels keep declining – Ukrhydroenergo
Water level in Ukraine's Kakhovka reservoir continues to decline despite the destruction of the spillway dam and earthen insert, prompting hydropower plant operator Ukrhydroenergo to adjust operations of HPPs and store water in upstream reservoirs to reduce flooding downstream. Plans are also underway to build a cofferdam at Kakhovka reservoir to restore its designed water level before the explosion. The explosion is believed to have been caused by explosives planted by Russian troops. Almost 3,000 buildings are currently underwater in the Ukrainian-controlled part of Kherson Oblast.
Townhall: Remembering the Horrors Of D-Day
Seventy-nine years ago this week, Allied forces invaded the Normandy beaches on D-Day, marking the largest amphibious landing since ancient times. The invasion aimed to liberate western Europe, push into Germany, and destroy the Nazi regime. Nearly a quarter-million Allied soldiers were killed or wounded in "Operation Overlord" over the ensuing seven weeks of fighting in Normandy. The Allies did not secure Normandy until the end of July when they finally broke out into the plains of France and began racing toward Germany. They pulled off the impossible by surprising the Germans, securing a beachhead, supplying that toehold in western Europe, and then expanding the pocket into a vast 1,000-mile front that in less than a year shattered Hitler's defenses.

The Epoch Times: Commercial Real Estate Exposure, Financial Pressures Could Result in Bank Consolidation, Yellen Says
Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen believes that further consolidation in the U.S. banking system is likely due to the pressures small banks are facing, although she acknowledged the need to maintain a diverse banking system. Yellen also stated that liquidity in the banking system is strong, but risks remain due to exposure to the weakening commercial real estate market. If the situation worsens, it could result in more bank failures with small lenders accounting for as much as 70 percent of commercial real estate loans. Experts have raised concerns about potential liquidity issues emanating from the US government's bond issuance to replenish the Treasury General Account.

The Epoch Times: Cognitive Dissonance Ability to Harm Us Physically Now Confirmed
New research has found that cognitive dissonance can generate physical pain in the body, suggesting it can significantly impact spinal health. Researchers from Ohio State University and the University of Michigan asked volunteers to lift boxes before expressing both praise and criticism for their work, by doing so, they said that mind-body links exist and can generate pressure on the necks and lower backs of individuals. These effects can be problematic for workplaces particularly when stress and cognitive dissonance is heavily present. Additionally, the study found that personality types can also increase pressure placed on the spine, leading load increases of up to 35%.
The Epoch Times: Cardiologist Calls on Australia’s Medical Regulator to Suspend COVID Vaccine Mandates
Dr. Aseem Malhotra, a British cardiologist and former supporter of mRNA COVID vaccines, has called for the suspension of COVID vaccine mandates in Australia, citing “overwhelming” evidence against their use. Malhotra pointed to related heart complications, such as myocarditis and periocarditis, which the Therapeutic Goods Administration claims are rare side effects. Malhotra also argued that the benefits of vaccination are “poor” and have healthy user bias.
Malhotra has called for vaccine mandate suspension in the UK, which led to criticism from fellow cardiologists who have called his opinions “misguided” and “dangerous.” He argues that financial interests and misinformation contribute to the current crisis but sees this as an opportunity for ethical, evidence-based medicine.

The Epoch Times: Greens Offer Labor Billion Dollar Olive Branch on Housing Fund
The Greens have offered to lower their demands over the stalled Housing Australia Future Fund bill in exchange for an immediate interim freeze on rent increases and billions in funding for public, community, and affordable housing from the Labor government. The Greens contend that their proposal, which focuses on easing the housing crisis urgently, will gain the support of a large segment of the population. The bill, which aims to build 30,000 homes over the next five years using a $10 billion fund, has been delayed by the Greens and the Coalition in the Senate. The hashtag is appropriate for this article.
The Greens have suggested that the federal government should give states and territories a $1 billion incentive fund per year via the National Housing and Homelessness Agreement in exchange for a two-year rent increase freeze and ongoing rent caps. Additionally, they want the government to spend at least $2.5 billion each year on public, community, and affordable housing. The Greens believe that the funding could be spent on purchasing rental homes or unused housing for public housing purposes or NRAS homes coming out of the system. Max Chandler-Mather, Greens spokesperson for Housing and Homelessness, reiterated that renters need action instantly, and the federal government must provide real cash to enable the construction of public housing. The hashtag also fits for this news piece.
