The Epoch Times: Vivek Ramaswamy on Trump Indictment: 'We Can't Have Two Tiers of Justice'
Former President Donald Trump is set to face indictment over the handling of classified documents. Trump's legal team met with the Department of Justice to discuss the investigation, and the former president has stated that he has been summoned to appear in court. Republican candidate Vivek Ramaswamy criticized the two-tiered justice system and cautioned against the unjust use of law enforcement against political opponents. He also expressed concerns that the United States may be descending into a banana republic-like state. Republicans such as House Speaker Kevin McCarthy and Sen. Chuck Grassley also condemned the indictment, while Democrats viewed it as a demonstration of the law's impartiality.
Red State: DeSantis, More Republicans Respond to Trump Indictment
Former President Donald Trump is likely to be indicted by a grand jury in Miami soon, leading to fierce reactions from Republican lawmakers and potential presidential candidates for 2024. Some Republicans, such as Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL), are calling the indictment the most severe election interference they have ever seen, while others, such as Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL), are condemning the weaponization of federal law enforcement, which they argue endangers a free society. Other Republicans, such as former Gov. Chris Christie and Sen. Mike Lee of Utah, are urging their followers to wait for the facts before making any judgments.
Newsbusters: MSNBC Surprised SCOTUS Upheld Voting Rights, Claimed Rights Were Gutted
MSNBC's Andrea Mitchell discussed the recent Supreme Court ruling on Alabama's redistricting plan. The ruling upheld Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act, surprising Democrats who expected the conservative majority to oppose it. However, NBC senior legal correspondent Laura Jarrett and Michael Waldman, president and CEO of the Brennan Center for Justice, found the court's ruling unsurprising. They claimed that the court had gutted the Civil Rights Act in 2013. Former Alabama Democratic Senator Doug Jones suggested that Republicans likely only won the House due to unconstitutional redistricting, prompting the trio to belittle the Conservative Supreme Court.
The American Spectator: The Danger of Importing Leftist Tribalism Into Republican Politics
Tribalism supersedes all else in the current political climate, as evidenced by the pressure on former Trump supporters to fully support him in his 2024 candidacy. The rise of political tribalism can be attributed to the emptiness of modern lives, the waning of patriotism, and a weakened American polity. The Right risks suppressing independent thinking and failing to achieve any clear purpose by succumbing to the appeal of tribal conformity.
Fox News: SEAN HANNITY: There's one set of rules for Democrats, another set of rules for Donald Trump and conservatives
Sean Hannity argues that Trump is facing DOJ's wrath while Joe Biden is getting off Scot-free, despite multiple allegations of mishandling top secret classified documents, bribery and leveraging $1 billion taxpayer dollars to fire a Ukrainian prosecutor who was investigating Burisma, a company accused of corruption where Hunter Biden was on the board. The DOJ has indicted Trump on federal charges related to document handling and obstruction of justice, for storing a few documents from his presidency in a secure room, while Biden can store similar documents in a box in an open garage and no one seems to care. Hannity claims that there is no equal application of the law; there's one set of rules for Democrats and another for Republicans.
Breitbart: DOJ Indicts Trump on Same Day FBI Forced to Give Biden 'Bribery' Document to Congress
DOJ indicted Trump on charges related to handling of classified documents, but no charges filed against Biden despite the existence of the FD-1023 record describing suspicions of bribery involving Biden. FBI agreed to hand over the document after subpoena from House Oversight Committee, and members of Congress began reviewing it before Trump's indictment was announced.

The American Spectator: Five Quick Things: Transgender ‘Health Care’ and Instagram Pedophilia Exposed
The elimination of "adult" things such as vices kept away from kids is due to the new cultural revolution. Social taboos have disintegrated, and the new revolution requires that virtue pay tribute to vice. This shift means the burden of sex and sin falls on individuals who wish to keep children's innocence intact.
Social media platform Instagram's algorithms promote the pedophile networks' disgusting endeavors. In search of explicit hashtags, Instagram enables connects and even facilitates the sale and purchase of child-sex material. Instagram accounts offer menus of illicit sexual content for sale. Researchers have found that it only takes following a few accounts to flood a test account with content that sexualizes children. Meta has claimed to take down pedophile networks, banned Instagram accounts for pedo behavior, but such bans are meaningless.

The American Spectator: Seminary Students: ‘The Resurrection Is Undeniably Trans’
Two students from the progressive Union Theological Seminary have suggested that Jesus is a transgender icon after defying expectations and social norms with his resurrection. The students argued that the resurrection stoked the flames of a new possibility that concepts of gender must be expanded, as not even the life and death binary categories are fixed. They suggested that Jesus’ wounds from his crucifixion demonstrated that medical and surgical transition are moral and revealed that holiness is discovered in the triumph of life over death. Union Theological Seminary is extremely active in LGBTQ activism, and its dean celebrated Pride Month, labelling it important to faith communities.

The Epoch Times: Proposed Aged Care Levy Labelled 'Lazy' Solution
Australian opposition criticizes government proposal for a taxpayer levy to fund the aged care sector. Anne Ruston, the opposition's aged care spokeswoman, called the proposal lazy, stating that other options should be considered to address shortfalls in the industry. The government's aged care task force, which includes representatives from finance, public policy, First Nations and consumer advocacy groups, will provide advice on the next steps in reform. The final report is due in December. Senator Ruston said many facilities were struggling to meet new guidelines requiring round-the-clock nurses on site and warned that not all facilities would be able to deal with the staffing changes.
The Epoch Times: Union Criticise Limited Expansion of Firies Cancer Scheme
The state of Victoria will expand its presumptive rights compensation scheme for firefighters to cover female-specific cancers, including cervical, ovarian, and uterine conditions. This move will benefit over 5,000 female firefighters by providing them compensation without the need to prove firefighting caused their disease. However, the United Firefighters Union Victorian branch secretary criticized the state government for adding only three cancers to the scheme, leaving the state out of step with federal laws.

The Epoch Times: California School Board Responds to Newsom After Blocking LGBT Book Featuring ‘Pedophile’ Activist
Dr. Joseph Komrosky, the president of Temecula Valley Unified School District's board, has doubled down on his decision to block a textbook that lists Harvey Milk, an openly gay activist and politician who was assassinated in 1978, as a historical figure. Last month, Komrosky called Milk a "pedophile," citing a biography that claimed Milk had a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old. California Governor Gavin Newsom criticized Komrosky's comment and called for "our kids [to] have the freedom to learn." Komrosky has since defended his stance, saying that any adult, regardless of gender identity or sexual preference, who has a relationship with a minor should not be in K-5th grade textbooks.
Trustee Danny Gonzalez, who also voted against the textbook, supported Komrosky's view that featuring figures who have had inappropriate sexual relationships with children in textbooks is wrong. Gonzalez highlighted flaws in the district's curriculum adoption process and called for a process that includes more input from teachers, parents, and community members. Newsom and state Attorney General Rob Bonta have demanded information from the school board regarding their decision to reject the curriculum and their adherence to the FAIR Act, which requires the inclusion of the political, economic, and social contributions of LGBT persons and those with disabilities in educational textbooks. The decision has divided teachers, parents, and community members, with some backing the trustees' decision and others believing the curriculum was neutral and accurate.
