The Blaze: WARNING! NYC Mayor Eric Adams wants to house migrants in YOUR home!
New York City Mayor Eric Adams plans to pay residents to house illegal immigrants in their homes, using the $4.2 billion meant for these migrants instead to recycle back into its own residents. PJ Media: Parents Rights Groups Become the Next Target of SPLC's 'Hate Group' Tag
The Southern Poverty Law Center adds parental rights groups, such as Moms For Liberty, to its "hate map" alongside Ku Klux Klan chapters. The SPLC report alleges these groups have grown into an anti-student inclusion movement. However, it does not mention the Left’s aggressive promotion of sexualized material for children in schools and other venues. A defamation lawsuit against SPLC by the Dustin Inman Society is expected to continue through discovery. While SPLC has lost credibility, it remains a radical left icon and continues to exaggerate and drum up funds for their efforts.
The Epoch Times: ANALYSIS: US Woke Agenda Flops in Latin America
The woke movement in Latin America has failed to gain traction due to cultural and economic realities. Woke activism requires economic and educational privilege, which many Latin Americans lack, with poverty affecting over 30% of the population. Traditional family values and a prevailing Christian influence also undermine the progression of woke philosophy. Additionally, the region's history of socialist leadership, military dictatorships, and human rights abuses has left a permanent stamp on families' memories, prompting many to reject leftist ideas. The recent failed leftist reform in Chile also demonstrated that drastic social reform isn't worth the price of economic stability.
Forbes: ESG Is A Response To A Broken Reporting Model
Shiva Rajgopal, a professor of accounting and auditing, testified at the Congressional hearing on ESG, noting that ESG data is not adequately disclosed by the current financial reporting and mandated disclosure rules. Rajgopal highlighted that climate and weather-related events affect firms' future cash flows, and the impact of such events is not systematically disclosed. He argued that investors cannot ignore financial risks posed by overlooking material ESG data relevant to understanding the future cash flows and risks of stocks, bonds, and other assets.
Red State: BREAKING: House Oversight Committee Issues Contempt Resolution Against FBI Director Christopher Wray
A contempt resolution has been filed against FBI Director Christopher Wray by House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer after the FBI failed to comply with a subpoena related to alleged bribery of then-Vice President Joe Biden by a foreign national. The committee will vote on the resolution on Thursday. Comer released a statement along with the resolution stating that the FBI must produce the unclassified FD-1023 record and that Americans have lost trust in the FBI’s ability to enforce the law impartially.
The resolution is accompanied by a 16-page report, and the form of the resolution is set out. The Speaker of the House of Representatives shall certify the report to the United States Attorney for the District of Columbia. Comer also added that the Oversight Committee must follow the facts and ensure the federal government is held accountable. The Oversight hearing on Thursday morning promises to be interesting.
Fox News: What the sonic boom and Capitol security scare have to do with 9/11 attacks
A security scare at the U.S. Capitol over the weekend triggered by a "ghost plane" crash in Virginia led to an elevated security posture in the region. The sonic boom and a Cessna making a U-turn led authorities to suspect an air incursion around the Capitol. Concerns about air security have been taken seriously since 9/11, with incidents arising periodically. The Capitol's legacy of 9/11 means air incursions and scares remain a significant issue for authorities.

The Blaze: Junior high teacher in Canada berates Muslim students for boycotting Pride events: 'If you don't think that should be the law, you can't be Canadian'
A teacher in Canada scolded her Muslim students for skipping school to avoid attending scheduled Pride events, claiming they "can't be Canadian" if they don't support legalizing gay marriage. The teacher implied that Muslim students are obliged to support the LGBTQ agenda since LGBTQ students have supported Islamic holidays in the past and warned Muslim students that they better give respect "back to people who are different" from them. She drew a contrast between Canada and countries such as Uganda, stating that anyone who supports such anti-gay laws is not welcome in Canada.
National Review: The Corner: The Southern Poverty Law Center’s Attack on Parental Rights
The Southern Poverty Law Center's "Year in Hate and Extremism 2022" report added parental-rights groups to its "Hate and Anti-Government groups Map." Moms for Liberty was included in the list alongside neo-Nazis, despite the fact that their mission is against having their children be defined by their immutable characteristics. The group was described as a leading "reactionary anti-student inclusion group," implying that protesting a drag show is an example of its hatred.
Daily Wire: Parental Rights Groups Now On ‘Hate Map’ With KKK, Southern Poverty Law Center Decides
The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) added several parental rights groups like Moms for Liberty on its "hate map," referring to them as "antigovernment movements," along with other extreme groups. The SPLC accuses these groups of disrupting school board meetings and promoting hate towards black and LGBT students. Moms for Liberty opposes Critical Race Theory, pronoun policies, and sexual content in curricula and school libraries, which is the movement's scourge.
The Blaze: Over 200 LGBT groups demand Target restock all Pride merch and denounce 'extremists' speaking out against children's apparel, 'tuck-friendly' swimsuits
Over 200 LGBT organizations are demanding that Target restock all of its Pride merchandise and denounce "extremists" who have been speaking out against the items. The demand follows calls for a boycott of the retail chain after it was revealed that its Pride collection included LGBT-themed clothing for children. Two weeks ago, Target announced that it was moving its Pride section to the back of its stores and removing some merchandise after what it described as "volatile circumstances" and "threats impacting our team members' sense of safety" forced it to take action. The Human Rights Campaign, GLAAD and around 200 other LGBT-allied groups signed a joint statement calling for Target to reaffirm its commitment to the LGBTQ+ community and restock all its Pride merchandise.

National Review: The Corner: Canada Must Pay: Environmental Reparations Now
Canada has broken the trust with the United States by initiating environmental warfare with the wildfires spreading across American airspace. This breach of sovereignty calls for reparative justice and compensation, as calls for "climate reparations" apply to international disparities in climate change impacts and risks attributable to colonial histories of resource extraction. The U.S. is calling on Canada to pay up and rectify the past and ongoing harms caused by the wildfires.

The American Spectator: First Gas Stoves, Now Cows
The Irish government has suggested culling 10% of cows to reduce methane emissions and meet EU net-zero emission goals by 2050, with 200k cows potentially being culled. The move has been criticised for driving up food prices and pushing beef and dairy production to other countries without reducing global emissions.
Spectator USA: Can the 2024 election save cable news?
Cable news giants, such as CNN and Fox News, are facing significant challenges as they lose subscribers to streaming services and the proliferation of online media outlets. Twitter founder Elon Musk’s recent derailing of Florida governor Ron DeSantis’s campaign launch, further threatened the industry, left Fox News as the preferred outlet for the governor and demonstrated cable news’ continued relevance. CNN is also in trouble, with viewer losses and a new regime seeking to tone down the dramatic anti-Trump rhetoric that boosted its ratings. While industry veterans remain concerned, cable news still has potential to exert significant influence.

The Epoch Times: Federal Memo Discussed Ways to Minimize Concerns About Adverse Reactions to COVID-19 Vaccines
A memo from the Privy Council Office warned that vaccine injuries and deaths could shake public confidence in vaccinations and suggested "winning communication strategies" to downplay concerns about adverse reactions and encourage vaccine uptake. The memo was based on a study that presented participants with a fictional news report of an adverse event following immunization and different framed responses from the federal government, a medical professional, or the vaccine manufacturer. The "Kitchen Sink Message Frame" was found to be the most effective communication approach, reducing concerns about vaccine safety and news reports by 17 percent. The memo suggested several communication mechanisms to reduce adverse event fears, such as gist framing, mechanism framing, and risk communication framing.
Daily Wire: Matt Walsh Undercover Investigation Catches Trans Health Care Providers Falsifying Patient Info To Fast-Track Sex-Change Surgeries
Transgender healthcare providers in the US are approving life-altering sex-change surgeries and falsifying information about patients so that their medical expenses for these procedures will be covered by insurance companies. Daily Wire host Matt Walsh and his team conducted an undercover investigation on how easy it is to get approved for sex-change surgery. Walsh's producer obtained approval for testicle removal after just a 22-minute virtual appointment with the largest transgender healthcare provider in the US, Plume. This is one of many dark secrets that Walsh's investigation has brought to light in the "corrupt and fraudulent" transgender medical industry.

The Federalist Papers: Lia Thomas' UPenn Teammate Breaks Silence, Joins Fight Against Transgender Athletes in Women's Sports
Former University of Pennsylvania swimmer Paula Scanlan has spoken out against biological males competing in women's sports. Speaking on "The Ingraham Angle" with host Laura Ingraham, Scanlan said she had seen a significant transformation in sport over the past year and that every women's sport imaginable had been infiltrated by biological males competing on women's teams. The former swimmer called for a fair playing field and encouraged other women to speak out against unfair competition.
Forbes: The Boundless Cynicism Of International Sport
The PGA Tour has announced a merger with LIV Golf, backed by the Saudi government, ignoring its atrocious human rights record that was previously condemned by PGA officials. The US magistrate judge also ruled that the Public Investment Fund, chaired by Mohammed bin Salman, has "oversight and operation of LIV". The news has raised many questions regarding the governance structure of the merged entity, and whether the league will be a vehicle for politics. A backlash was faced by LIV Golf's use of lobbyists, and a host of legal issues relating to the PGA Tour.
