Paula Scanlan has gone from being anonymous to being brave in the fight against “transgender” people who want to force others to engage with them. Scanlan was part of the University of Pennsylvania’s women’s swim team that was forced to compete with a biological man who had announced he was a woman. Scanlan accuses UPenn of putting victory of wokeness ahead of women’s emotional and athletic needs, with the athletic department silencing the women.

Forbes: Making Mobile Homes Energy Efficient Needs Effective Financing
Making Mobile Homes Energy Efficient Needs Effective Financing
Senator Tim Scott sends a letter criticizing Biden administration's requirement for mobile home manufacturers to make improvements for energy efficiency, citing the added cost to families. The DOE argues consumers will save $177-475 per year in utility bills but improvements will increase the cost of mobile homes. DOE proposes to support credit-enhancement mechanisms to fund energy-efficient manufactured housing but financing for manufactured homes is tricky as they are not considered real property in many states. National standards for financing and low-interest loans are suggested solutions.

The Federalist Papers: Bombshell PGA Tour-LIV Golf Merger Means Trump Gets the Last Laugh
Bombshell PGA Tour-LIV Golf Merger Means Trump Gets the Last Laugh
The PGA Tour and LIV Golf have merged to become one entity governing professional golf, a move predicted by former President Donald Trump nearly a year ago. The merger includes the PGA Tour, the DP World Tour, and the Public Investment Fund, which owns LIV Golf. The PIF is a massive trust fund for the Saudi Arabian government and gave the fledgling golf league enough money to entice big names away from the PGA, such as Phil Mickelson, Brooks Koepka, and Dustin Johnson. Many players who spurned offers from LIV Golf will now be left unsure of how they will be compensated.

The Federalist: Abortion Facility Closes In IN As AG Pursues Abortionists' Licenses
Abortion Facility Closes In IN As AG Pursues Abortionists' Licenses
Whole Woman's Health Alliance, Indiana's first abortion facility, has closed due to "politically driven and medically unnecessary abortion restrictions" following the Supreme Court's Dobbs v. Jackson decision. Although the facility will still provide referrals to other abortion providers, it announced it would cease personally terminating the lives of the unborn. The pro-life law, which would have shut down all seven of the state's functioning abortion facilities, was held up in courts, but since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, the tide seems to be turning in favor of those protecting life in the womb.

Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita has filed an administrative action against Indiana abortionist Dr. Caitlin Bernard for violating state privacy laws. Bernard disclosed her patient's abuse, medical issues, and medical treatment to a reporter to further her political agenda. The Indiana Medical Licensing Board agreed that Bernard violated state privacy laws but did not act on Rokita's reporting failure allegations. Bernard was fined $3,000 for her malfeasance, but the Medical Licensing Board has yet to issue a final order.

Another Hit: Bud Light Manufacturer Settles With EPA Over Alleged Environmental Violations
Anheuser-Busch, the parent company of Bud Light, will pay over $537,000 in fines to the EPA and implement safety reviews at 11 plants following accusations of violating the Clean Air Act. The settlement was partially motivated by a 2018 ammonia leak at a Colorado plant, with the EPA claiming the company failed to comply with good engineering practices. Multiple Anheuser-Busch facilities in 10 U.S. states will undergo review of their anhydrous ammonia storage in relation to beer production. These measures come amidst financial turmoil for Anheuser-Busch following a partnership with transgender activist Dylan Mulvaney. Some conservative activists have called for a boycott of Bud Light, with one analyst anticipating a 12-13% decline in volume.

National Review: The Corner: The RFK Jr. Wild Card in New Hampshire
The Corner: The RFK Jr. Wild Card in New Hampshire
The presidential campaign of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. reflects a combination of generic discontent with Joe Biden, conspiracy theories, and name recognition. Kennedy may affect the Republican primary in New Hampshire due to the presence of many independent voters who make up a somewhat unpredictable X factor not present in the closed Iowa caucus. The question is whether Kennedy might draw votes away from some of the Republican candidates, especially if he draws vaccine skeptics away from Trump, which could end up helping Trump in New Hampshire at the expense of his chief rival.
