Breitbart: Morning Consult Poll: Trump Leads 2024 Field, No Bump for DeSantis
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has not gained significant support following his presidential announcement and remains far behind former President Donald Trump, who continues to dominate the 2024 Republican primary field with 56% support. DeSantis remains Trump's closest challenger with only 22% support, while former Vice President Mike Pence is expected to enter the race this week and currently has 7% support.
The Federalist: Please Let Hunter Biden Help Overturn Our Unjust Gun Laws
Despite state legalization of marijuana, the federal government continues to ban it under the Controlled Substances Act, a law that many argue is unconstitutional. Recently, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) issued a warning that people who use marijuana are considered "unlawful users" of a controlled substance and are therefore prohibited from owning firearms or ammunition under the Gun Control Act of 1968. However, several courts have already ruled that this ban is unconstitutional, and many believe that the federal government is selectively enforcing the law for political purposes.
Spectator USA: Behind the Trump-DeSantis influencer Twitter bloodbath
Trump and DeSantis supporters have engaged in a fierce Twitter battle over their respective campaigns, escalating from concerns regarding loyalty to policy disputes. Conservative influencers, such as New York Young Republicans chairman Gavin Wax and Laura Loomer, have publicly attacked DeSantis surrogates, including Christina Pushaw, on Twitter. The debate has since become personal, including accusations of fraud and X-rated images posted on social media. The campaigners have also accused each other of being grifters who recant their loyalties towards public opinion.
American Thinker: The New York Times screams out in defense of lawlessness
U.S. federalism is a pyramidical structure which has smaller towns and municipalities as the smallest legal units, leading to the federal government. The New York Times recently complained about states regaining legal and political dominance over rogue Democrat-run municipalities. This horror may stem from the weakening of leftist power.
Recently, Democrat-led urban centres have chosen not to follow state or federal laws and act as “sanctuary cities” for illegal aliens. The New York Times claims that the state's silencing of "millions of voters" is the newfound respect for the idea that state law preempts local law in the event of a conflict. The editorial was specifically angry at the situation in Texas. If the balance of power is restored between states and subparts, America will become a safer, more prosperous nation benefiting everyone, regardless of race or economic status.

Red State: Nord Stream 2: Biden Admin Knew of Ukrainian Military Covert Plan to Sabotage Pipeline
Intelligence reports suggest that Ukraine's military planned a covert attack on the Nord Stream 2 natural gas pipeline. The Biden administration received information three months prior to the bombing but did not act. Evidence linking Ukraine to the sabotage of Europe's energy infrastructure has been found on Discord. The recent revelations raise questions about Biden's response and highlight the divergent military objectives between Ukraine and Western concerns about global conflict escalation.
German investigators have discovered evidence aligning with the Ukrainian plot, including skilled divers, explosives planted at the recommended depth for helium-assisted dives, residue matching on the pipeline, and inside a yacht. Biden administration officials initially suggested Russian culpability, but some European officials quietly suggested Ukrainian involvement. Throughout the war, U.S. intelligence officials have been concerned about aggressive operations by Ukraine that could escalate the conflict into a direct confrontation between Russia and NATO allies. Recent revelations provide evidence that links Ukraine to the Nord Stream 2 sabotage and U.S. knowledge of such a plan three months prior to the bombing.
Euromaidan Press: Zoo that survived Russian occupation destroyed by Kakhovka flooding; all animals dead
300 animals were killed in the floodwaters after the Kakhovka dam was destroyed by Russian troops. Fairytale Forest, a private zoo in Nova Kakhovka, had been under occupation since Russia invaded in 2022. Despite efforts by workers, farmers, and volunteers, the animals could not be evacuated and their enclosures were flooded. The zoo thanked those who helped keep the animals alive during occupation, but stated they no longer need help. The zoo was founded in 1992 and was popular with locals and tourists.

Breitbart: Biden Blamed Russia for Nord Stream Despite Briefing of a Ukrainian Plot
The Biden administration was aware three months before the September attack on Nord Stream that Ukrainian forces had planned a covert attack on the natural gas pipeline, but still publicly blamed Russia for the bombing. European officials had warned the administration about the Ukrainian plan in June 2022, providing some of the most specific evidence to date linking Ukraine to the sabotage on Europe’s energy infrastructure. Despite private concessions, the Biden administration and Western allies have been hesitant to seek out the truth and have not publicly held Ukraine accountable for the attack.
