The Federalist: Thanks For Not Running, Chris Sununu
The governor of New Hampshire, Chris Sununu, announced that he will not be running for the Republican presidential nomination. Sununu argues that he can still be effective by lecturing the base on the issues that are important to them. He believes that Republicans can win national elections without sacrificing classic conservative principles. However, critics argue that he is the kind of Republican who believes he is elected to do nothing. Meanwhile, former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is expected to announce his campaign, although his sole purpose seems to be politically damaging Trump. Trump is currently averaging more than 50% support for re-nomination despite at least one criminal indictment and court rulings against him.
The New American: Why the Culture War is the War that Truly Matters
The establishment bombards the public with crisis and scandal to create burnout and avoid meaningful change. The Right must focus on the culture war, as controlling societal institutions shapes beliefs and desires. Doubling down on the culture war will solve many of the issues facing the country.
Newsbusters: Judge RIPS Lawyers, Likens Biden-Big Tech Censorship to Orwell’s 1984
The Missouri v. Biden case challenges whether the Biden administration colluded with Big Tech social media platforms to censor Americans. Federal court judge Terry A. Doughty compared the government-ordered censorship to George Orwell's "1984." Biden’s lawyers claimed only one liberal was censored because that person was a political opponent of Joe Biden. Judge Doughty suggested that conservatives were the target of the government’s speech suppression and censorship, and that the speech censorship of the social media platforms would continue unless stopped. The case cites an MRC Free Speech America study that revealed social media platforms censored public criticism of Biden 646 times between March 10, 2020, and March 10, 2022.
The Blaze: The president's latest face-plant stokes fears that Harris' ascension is only 'a Biden fall away'
President Joe Biden's recent fall at the US Air Force Academy's graduation ceremony has reignited concerns about his age and cognitive ability, with critics warning that he is "a Biden fall away from being in the Oval Office." Some political commentators have suggested that a vote for Biden is really a vote for Vice President Kamala Harris and that the president's cognitive challenges increase the risk of her taking over. Surveys indicate that even within his own party, there is growing opposition to Biden running again due to his age and health concerns.
Breitbart: Conway: Cornel West's Third-Party Candidacy Could Decide the 2024 Election
Kellyanne Conway suggests Cornel West could play spoiler in the 2024 election by running as a third-party candidate, potentially deciding who becomes president. West could run to the left of the Democratic Party's Biden/Harris administration and appeal to those who feel forgotten and abandoned. Conway points to Ross Perot's 19% of the popular vote in 1992 affecting the outcome of the election.
The Federalist Papers: 'RIP Fox News': Harris Faulkner Says Things Are Going to Have to Change at Network
Fox News host Harris Faulkner sparked backlash from viewers when she warned that the network may have to adopt the "woke" diversity and inclusion agenda due to state mandates. She cited the example of Chick-fil-A, which has garnered attention for its diversity policies. However, some fans of the network criticized Faulkner's comments, stating that they were the reason the network had lost viewers in the first place. Fox News' parent company, Fox Corp., already publicly champions diversity and inclusion values and permeates them throughout corporate culture.

Washington Free Beacon: Target Loses Nearly $15B in Market Value Amid Backlash Against Pride Merch
Target's market value has dropped by almost $15 billion in market capitalization since backlash against their LGBTQ Pride collection and "tuck-friendly" children's swimsuits. The eight-day losing streak is reportedly the longest since November 2018. Other companies such as Anheuser-Busch have also suffered after launching ad campaigns targeting controversial topics.
Breitbart: Republicans Walk Out of California Legislature as Anti-Catholic Gay Group Honored
California Republicans walked out of a ceremony honoring Michael Williams, also known as "Sister Roma" of the anti-Catholic group Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence during Pride Month. Williams, a man who dresses in drag as a Catholic nun, and his group mock Catholic beliefs as part of their performance. The Republicans objected to the legislature's decision to elevate an anti-Catholic group, resulting in protests by Catholic and evangelical groups.
Red State: To Hell With Property Rights: Texas Government Plays Dirty to Seize Land From Real Estate Developer Through Eminent Domain
The Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission (TPWC) is considering using eminent domain to seize a plot of land including Fairfield Lake State Park, which a real estate development company plans to turn into a gated community with a golf course. Lawmakers previously considered letting the state use eminent domain but the bill was modified to focus on water rights. TPWD is removing its personnel from the state park as the deal between Vistra and Todd Interests closes. Andrew Morriss, a Texas A&M law professor who specializes in eminent domain law, said the state could take back the property through condemnation for use as a public park.

Daily Wire: Russia Taking Over Ukraine Not A ‘Top Foreign Policy Priority,’ GOP Presidential Candidate Says
Presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy said in an interview that a war in Ukraine wasn't a top foreign policy priority for him or America, and that a focus on China would be better suited to advancing American interests. Instead, Ramaswamy would like to end the war in Ukraine peacefully on Russian terms in exchange for Russia withdrawing from a military agreement with China; he believes this approach would better protect American interests than combatting Russian aggression in Ukraine. Ramaswamy is touting himself as a leading America-first conservative.
Euromaidan Press: Russo-Ukrainian War. Day 468: Russians blow up a hydropower plant, Kherson is flooding
Russian forces continue their aggressive tactics in Ukraine, with the latest attack on a hydropower plant being labelled a "war crime" by world leaders. The Russian invasion has seen ongoing missile and air strikes, and the enemy continues to attempt to occupy Luhansk and Donetsk regions. Ukraine is fighting back with its own missile and artillery units, and a new network of agents inside Russia are engaging in sabotage and using drones for attacks. The Ukrainian Air Force is also striking enemy positions, and Kyiv has successfully downed all 35 of the Russian missiles launched against it.

Flag And Cross: Harris Faulkner Retells Story of Being Booted from Restaurant: 'They Don't Deserve My Money Anyway'
Fox News anchor Harris Faulkner was asked to leave a restaurant for openly praying before her meal. She recounted her experience during a monologue about the spiritual fight in which the United States is engaged. Faulkner stated that the country is meant to be “a nation under God,” but "the devil has gotten into some people" and "our enemies are massing, feasting on the tastiness of our weaknesses." She urged people of faith to stand up and be counted during this pivotal time in the nation’s history.

Drug dealers are now mixing tranquilizer Xylazine with meth, cocaine, and fentanyl to prolong the high as overdose fatalities have increased. While the vending machines have proved effective in decreasing overdose rates and disease spread across states in the US and countries like Australia and Denmark, fatal overdose data estimate 2022 was the deadliest year to date.

Spectator USA: Chuck Todd’s send-off from Meet the Press was a mercy killing
Chuck Todd's departure from Meet the Press was not a victorious send-off, but felt like a mercy killing. Todd increasingly found himself alone at NBC as the network and its sister MSNBC increased the roles of more polarizing pundits around him. The decline of Sunday morning news shows as a whole can be attributed to social media and streaming options, leaving little difference of perspective and making the hour-long lectures and scold-fests uninteresting to audiences.
