Fox News: Biden's plan for mass release of migrants loses in court again, teeing up Supreme Court battle
The Biden administration was denied its request to stay a lower court order that blocked it from implementing a policy that allows for the release of migrants into the U.S. without court dates. The 11th Circuit panel rejected the DHS's claims that not issue a stay would cause "irreparable" harm, leaving the option for the administration to file an emergency appeal to the Supreme Court.
Florida AG Moody sued the Biden administration over a border policy that allowed migrants to be allowed into the country on parole. A Federal Judge has imposed a two-week restraining order on the Biden administration policy and the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals denied the administration's request to stop the lower court's decision. Florida is arguing for a review of the agency’s policy and for it to be set aside, asserting that DHS has failed to consider alternatives to releasing migrants.

Fox News: Tim Scott reacts to notably Behar-less 'View,' pushes back on 'lies'
Republican Sen. Tim Scott fired back at The View on Monday after being accused of having the “Clarence Thomas syndrome.” Panelist Joy Behar was absent from the show’s set during Scott’s appearance. Scott spoke with Sean Hannity about Behar’s comments and the hypocrisy he sees in it. Scott referred to Behar as an extreme liberal elite who dressed up in blackface for Halloween telling him how to be a black man in America. Scott continues to criticize liberal policies that “keep minorities at the bottom of the ladder, and then they remove the rungs of the ladder to climb.”
Fox News: Newsom threatens DeSantis with 'kidnapping charges' over migrant flights to Sacramento
California Gov. Gavin Newsom threatened Florida Governor Ron DeSantis with kidnapping charges over South American migrant flights to Sacramento, a sanctuary city. Newsom cited California kidnapping laws in a tweet sent Monday, referencing Florida's migrant relocation initiative. More than a dozen migrants were transported from Texas to New Mexico before being flown to Sacramento. A plane carrying 20 more migrants arrived in Sacramento on Monday. California Department of Justice officials said both groups were flown by the same contractor and were carrying documents linking the state of Florida to their relocation. California officials are investigating the migrant arrivals. DeSantis signed legislation earlier this year granting the state of Florida $12 million to continue its "Unauthorized Alien Transpot Program" to send illegal immigrants to states with sanctuary city policies.

Fox News: Iran unveils first domestically-made hypersonic ballistic missile, claims it can evade US defenses: report

The claims cannot be independently verified. Two weeks earlier, the country unveiled a new model of its Khorramshahr missile, which could travel more than 1,000 miles and carry a 3,300-pound warhead.

Fox News: Dodgers mocked Catholics, here’s how they should make up for it
The Los Angeles Dodgers face backlash for inviting the anti-Catholic group, Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, to an annual event. Fans and Catholics have condemned the move, as the group has a history of ridiculing and mocking Christian beliefs. Furthermore, the team's decision to honor the group has caused members of the team to come forward condemning the hate-filled mockery of the group and distancing themselves from the team's support for the group. Having worked closely with many Catholic sisters, U.S. Ambassador to the Vatican, Callista L. Gingrich, condemns the group’s behavior and highlights the selfless and courageous work of many Catholic sisters, who should be honored by the team instead.

The Epoch Times: Some Sudden Deaths Caused by COVID-19 Vaccines, Autopsies Confirm
Autopsies show eight people under 45 died of vaccine-induced heart inflammation after receiving an mRNA COVID-19 vaccine in South Korea. Thirteen other sudden cardiac deaths were recorded, although not definitively linked to vaccination. Myocarditis was not suspected before the autopsies. The study emphasizes why promoting vaccines for younger people was wrong, according to Dr. Andrew Bostom. Symptoms of myocarditis include chest pain, trouble sleeping, and fever. One in five vaccine-induced myocarditis cases was severe, with cases involving ICU admission, heart transplantation, and death. South Korea has established a reporting system for adverse events and compensates people who suffer effects. In contrast, the U.S. has compensated just four people.

The Epoch Times: Missouri Man Facing Execution for Killing 2 Jailers in Failed Bid to Help Inmate Escape in 2000
Michael Tisius, who killed two jailers during an attempted prison escape 23 years ago in Missouri, is set to be executed by lethal injection. Tisius' lawyers have appealed to the U.S. Supreme Court to block the execution, with one argument being that a juror at a sentencing hearing was illiterate, violating state law. Tisius, who was 19 at the time of the killings, had hoped to help another inmate escape from Randolph County Jail, and shot and killed the unarmed jailers during his bid. This would be the 12th U.S. execution this year and the third in Missouri, which is behind only Texas in the number of executions carried out in 2021.

Forbes: NBA’s Collective Bargaining Agreement Could Thwart A LeBron James And Kyrie Irving Reunion
Kyrie Irving has reportedly reached out to LeBron James to see if he'd be interested in joining the Dallas Mavericks, but sources have said the Lakers "aren't interested" in what Dallas could offer in a trade. A sign-and-trade is the more likely path for Irving to land in LA, but the NBA's collective bargaining agreement would further complicate matters, given the limitations in place for teams above the first salary-cap apron. Irving's max salary would also exceed the Lakers' available cap space, making it nearly impossible for the two superstars to reunite in Los Angeles.
Fox News: Cowboys release WR Antonio Callaway days after traffic stop arrest in Florida
Former Cleveland Browns wide receiver Antonio Callaway was released by the Dallas Cowboys on Monday, just days after he was arrested in Miami during a routine traffic stop. Callaway, who was signed to the practice squad in November and a futures contract in January, did not appear in a regular season game with Dallas. The arrest revealed he had a warrant for allegedly driving with a suspended license and failing to pay. Callaway was drafted by the Browns in 2018 and suspended four games the following year for violating the league's substance abuse policy.

Forbes: Apple’s Vision Pro Headset Is Tech’s Latest Bid To Crack AR/VR Devices—Here’s How Rival Products Have Performed
Apple unveiled its $3,500 Vision Pro headset in its first major foray into the world of VR/AR, joining rivals like Google and Microsoft. Meta accounts for the largest share in the relatively small market, but its most recent foray into the premium segment has been rocky, with the $1,500 Meta Quest Pro experiencing weak sales and poor reviews. Microsoft’s $3,000 Hololens is targeted towards developers and commercial uses but the Hololens 2’s fate remains hazy following the unit’s restructuring. Several other companies like Sony, HTC and Valve have released VR headsets, but most of these devices have primarily focused on gaming and need to be paired with a video game console or gaming PC to operate.
National Review: The Corner: Electric Vehicles: Mr. Bean’s Doubts
Rowan Atkinson, known for his role as Mr. Bean, is concerned about the environmental impact of electric cars. He notes that the manufacturing of EVs involves significant carbon emissions, largely due to the production of lithium-ion batteries. Atkinson argues that a wider range of options needs to be explored, including solid-state batteries, hydrogen, synthetic fuels, and improving the performance of traditional internal-combustion engines. However, car companies may not have the capital to invest in alternatives given their investment in EVs.
