Red State: UK's 'Peppa Pig' Cartoon Character Wishes the Kiddies a 'Happy Pride Month,' Brit Parents Bristle
Peppa Pig, the beloved children's character, joined in on the celebration of Pride Month by wishing young viewers "Happy Pride Month." The post featured the characters standing beneath a rainbow flag. Many parents were outraged and felt that it was inappropriate for children's entertainment to introduce such topics. Meanwhile, American retail giant Target continues to face backlash as it was revealed that through its non-profit organization it has been funding NDN Collective, an Indigenous-led group that seeks to "reclaim" Mount Rushmore and publicly "condemn" the US military for taking land from communities around the world.
Breitbart: Jim Jordan Threatens Enforcement Against 'Election Integrity' Partner Stanford University
GOP Representative Jim Jordan threatens action against Stanford University over insufficient compliance with congressional subpoena regarding Election Integrity Partnership (EIP) involvement. The EIP, led by the Stanford Internet Observatory, is accused of being part of the left’s election censorship machine, with its system enabling government actors to lodge complaints with social media firms. Jordan has demanded specific information by June 14th, and warned the Committee may consider “one or more enforcement mechanisms” should the university fail to comply.
Newsbusters: Sununu Fights With Psaki Over Russian Collusion 'Nonsense'
New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu argued in a tense interview with Jen Psaki on MSNBC’s All In that Trump's legal problems are not taken seriously by Republicans and that the media is to blame for creating a "Boy Who Cried Wolf Syndrome." Sununu sees Trump's critics beating him up for political reasons and that there was no evidence of collusion, just fake scandal mongering. He ultimately blamed the media for enabling Trump to play the victim card, increasing his poll numbers.
Fox News: Washington state Republican Chairman Caleb Heimlich to step down

Fox News: Up to 2.3 billion people worldwide still using polluting fuels to cook, according to report
Around 2.3 billion people worldwide still use polluting fuels for cooking, and 675 million people are without electricity, a report by five international organizations shows. The report says that at current rates, 1.9 billion people will not have clean cooking opportunities by 2030 and 660 million will be without electricity. The world is not on track to reach the "affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all" target by the UN. This will have a negative impact on the health of millions and accelerate climate change. More than 80% of the 567 million lacking electricity in 2021 lived in sub-Saharan Africa.
CCP-backed tech companies and renewable energy are set to benefit from Biden's climate bill, national security experts warn. Over 80% of those lacking electricity, 2.3 billion people, still use polluting fuels. The world is failing to meet the United Nations' target of affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all, which will have a negative impact on health and climate change. WHO estimates that 3.2 million premature deaths every year were attributable to household air pollution from polluting fuel and technology. Universal energy access can protect vulnerable populations.

Spectator USA: The brave, defiant words of Russia’s jailed Putin opponents
The Russia-Ukraine war has produced memorable quotes such as President Zelensky's refusal to leave Kyiv with his demand for ammunition. Yevgeny Prigozhin, often called the Gollum of the conflict, has made several highly cynical comments while the opposition delivered some inspiring speeches before being sent to jail. These speeches include Navalny's contemptuous court speech, Ilya Yashin's honest man remarks, and Vladimir Kara-Murza's refusal to repent along with Mikhail Krieger's declaration of Putin being a treacherous tyrant who deserves the same kind of execution as other war criminals sentenced at the Nuremberg trials.
Euromaidan Press: First of its kind: UK trains Ukrainian military chaplains
Ten Ukrainian military chaplains have completed a two-week training course with British counterparts in the first program of its kind to occur on British soil. The initiative responded to a request from the Armed Forces of Ukraine to bolster chaplaincy, a critical capability for Ukrainian commanders amidst the ongoing war against Russia. The chaplains will now move to the front line to provide spiritual support, restore hope, and strengthen morale among Ukrainian troops battling for their nation’s sovereignty.
The Epoch Times: Ukraine and Russia Blame Each Other for Partly Destroying Vital Dnipro River Dam
The Kremlin and Kyiv accuse each other of being responsible for the breach of the Nova Kakhovka hydroelectric dam, which has caused widespread flooding in the Kherson region. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy quickly blamed the incident on "Russian terrorists," while the Kremlin's Dmitry Peskov accused the Ukrainian side of a "deliberate act of sabotage". The cause of the breach remains unclear, but the dam is crucial to the irrigation of agricultural land and cooling of Europe's largest nuclear power plant in the neighboring region. The incident follows Russian claims of a major Ukrainian assault being repulsed in Donetsk, although it is unclear whether a counter-offensive has begun in earnest.

Breitbart: China Claims U.S. Made ‘Provocative Transit’ near Taiwan to Undermine Beijing
Chinese Communist government claims that the People’s Liberation Army appropriately handled a “provocative transit” by American and Canadian warships through the Strait of Taiwan. The Chinese ship was seen making an “unsafe interaction” by closing to within 150 yards of an American destroyer in the Taiwan Strait, violating the “maritime Rules of the Road” for safe passage. China's state-run Global Times insisted that the measures taken by the Chinese military were completely reasonable, legitimate, and professional and safe.
The Blaze: 'Spacecraft' of 'non-human origin' in U.S. possession, says intelligence official whistleblower
Whistleblower David Charles Grusch claims to have given Congress and the Intelligence Community Inspector General classified information involving recovered "spacecrafts" and "intact and partially intact vehicles" from unidentified flying objects (UAPs). Grusch alleges that UAP Task Force was "refused access" to the government's retrieval program and that UAP recoveries have taken place for decades. He has filed a complaint that the information was illegally withheld from Congress, and that he suffered illegal retaliation for his disclosures. Grusch hopes that his revelations provide a sociological shock and encourage the nations of the world to re-assess their priorities.
A Department of Defense spokesperson responded that they have not found any verifiable information to substantiate claims that any programs regarding the possession or reverse-engineering of extraterrestrial materials exist. Their historical review of records and testimonies is ongoing and due to Congress by June 2024. Grusch says that a "sophisticated disinformation campaign" has targeted the U.S. populous and that "the data empirically indicates that we are not alone." He states that "sometimes you encounter dead pilots" from UAPs.

All Outdoor: POTD: When They Say "Get The Boys" - The Boys Mark I Anti-Tank Rifle
The Boys Mark I Anti-Tank Rifle was developed by Captain Boys in the 1930s and played a significant role in the early stages of WWII. Weighing 35 pounds and firing the .55 Boys armor-piercing round, it required a two-man crew for effective operation. Despite eventually being replaced by more advanced anti-tank weapons, it still saw use through the war by organizations including the U.S. Marine Corps in the Pacific Theater and the Finns against the Soviets.
Lot 2573 at the Rock Island Auction Company contained a BSA Boys Mark I 50 BMG Anti-Tank Rifle with ammunition, featured in print and on television by Bruce Canfield. Refitted with a 50 BMG chambered barrel in compliance with the National Firearms Act, it features an early style disc-shaped muzzle brake, a hooded blade front sight, and a two-position peep rear sight, with a shock-absorbing rail frame stock, a rear pistol grip with metal knuckle guard, hardwood cheekpiece, and a metal buttplate with integral oiler.

Daily Wire: ‘The Little Mermaid’ Flounders In China, South Korea; Outlet Says Source Blames ‘Racist Reaction’ For Poor Showing
Disney's live-action "The Little Mermaid" underperformed in China and South Korea, earning just $3.6M and $4.4M respectively in the first 10 days of release. Analysts expected poor performance, but a source reportedly claimed that racism played a part in the movie's failure, as actress Halle Bailey, a person of color, was cast as Ariel. Chinese audiences criticized the "lazy and irresponsible storytelling strategy" of forcing minority inclusion in classic films for financial gain. IMBd changed the rating system for this movie to weed out suspected "review bombing" from fake or malicious users.

Skilled Survival: Best TFAKs (Trauma First Aid Kits) For Remote Life-Threatening Injuries
A Trauma First Aid Kit (TFAK) is essential for treating severe injuries until medical professionals arrive. Regular basic first aid kits are not sufficient for trauma. TFAKs contain gear specific to traumatic injuries, such as tourniquets, chest seals, pressure bandages, EMT shears, and thermal blankets. Everyone should have a basic first aid kit, but TFAKs are necessary for paramedics, military personnel, police officers, hunters, hikers, preppers, gun enthusiasts, campers, RVers, homesteaders, and anyone at high risk for serious injury without immediate professional help.
The Epoch Times: Potential Severe Health Threat From Toxic Gas Emitted by Consumer Products: Study
A recent study has revealed that over 100 types of consumer products, including lotions, shampoos, cleaners, paint strippers, and mothballs, contain toxic volatile organic compounds (VOCs) which can lead to reproductive and developmental harm, cancer, and other health effects. In California alone, over 5,000 tons of VOCs were released from consumer products in 2020, and the researchers suggest that the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) consider regulating five additional chemicals under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) that are not currently being evaluated.
Many household products contain at least one hazardous chemical, and workers using such products may be exposed to multiple toxic substances by using just one product. For example, adhesives, nail polish, and cleaning agents are among the many common products that contain numerous chemicals listed under Proposition 65. Formaldehyde, benzene, and dichlorobenzene are just a few of the hazardous chemicals found in personal care products, nails and hair care items, and mothballs. The American Lung Association suggests taking measures such as avoiding or limiting the use of high VOC products or adding ventilation when using products containing VOCs indoors to protect oneself from VOC exposure.
Fox News: Boston Children's Hospital says it doesn't perform genital surgeries on minors, but documents complicate story
Boston Children's Hospital had policies allowing vaginal surgeries on minors, according to Fox News's investigative report. The hospital faced backlash in August 2022 for allowing patients as young as 17 to get vaginoplasties. After false information spread, the FBI said the hospital did not provide gender-affirming genital surgeries to patients under 18. However, Fox News revealed that BCH's clinicians had published medical literature detailing the institution's policies of allowing for vaginoplasties on 17-year-old biological males. The hospital followed procedures to institute the policy despite ethical concerns surrounding genital surgeries on adolescents and uncertainty whether Massachusetts law allows minors to sterilize themselves. Fox News stated that Boston Children's positions itself as a premier pediatric medical center and should face oversight using high standards of transparency and accountability, especially since it receives nearly $300 from the federal government.

Clifford, who chairs the Advanced Research and Invention Agency, called for AI to be regulated on a national and global scale and urged people to think urgently about mitigating the risks of the technology.
