Breitbart: The Atlantic Magazine: The Feds Use Migration to Cut Wages
The Atlantic Magazine: The Feds Use Migration to Cut Wages
The federal government's pro-migration policy suppresses American workers' salaries, according to an article in The Atlantic, by founder of think-tank American Compass, Oren Cass. Despite corporate profits per capita nearly tripling over the past 50 years, the average inflation-adjusted hourly earnings of the typical worker rose by less than 1 percent. The share of new wealth going to employees has declined since about 1970, dropping 10 points from 51.6% to 41.9%. President Trump's lower-migration policy increased employees' share by one point, but it appears to be declining again under President Biden's easy migration rules. (, )

Extraction Migration is a federal policy that reduces beneficial trade, extracts vast amounts of human resources from needy countries, and uses imported workers and renters to grow Wall Street and the economy, according to Cass. The lethal policy sucks wealth from heartland states by subsidizing coastal investors with a flood of low-wage workers, high-occupancy renters, and government-aided consumers. The population inflow also reduces the political clout of native-born Americans, allowing elites to separate themselves from ordinary Americans' interests. A majority of Americans believe that Biden is allowing a southern border invasion. (, , )

The Corner: Mission Accomplished at the Border?
The Department of Homeland Security's released border numbers showcase the White House's policy of accommodating mass illegal immigration rather than stopping it. People apprehended by the Border Patrol because they entered without inspection and many who schedule their illegal immigration through the CBP One app are unaccounted for and have been released in the US. Despite the number of illegal immigrants being lower in some months under Biden, the border crisis continues.

House Freedom Caucus Unexpectedly Cuts the Gas to GOP’s Stove Bills
Eleven Republicans joined Democrats to vote against two gas-stove bills, showing their anger at the debt-ceiling deal McCarthy cut with President Biden not going far enough in terms of spending cuts. The speaker drama in January saw McCarthy elected to the House’s top post. The drama led to Scalise switching his vote at the last moment so that the bills could be brought to a vote again in the future. Conservative members might continue to hold McCarthy’s feet to the fire to the point where the House business could halt. The final vote was 206-220. Representative Gaetz explained to reporters: "We’re concerned that the fundamental commitments that allowed Kevin McCarthy to assume the Speakership have been violated as a consequence of the debt limit deal."

Dan Bongino says the left is 'obsessed' with talking to children about sex
Dan Bongino claims that liberals are obsessed with discussing sex with children, criticizing their crusade to promote LGBT ideology in books, shows, and classrooms. Stephen King replied by saying Bongino is the one obsessed, using the word "sex" 10 times in a sentence. Bongino has criticized King in the past, with comments alluding to the author's personal life. Many Americans are troubled by the left's push for gender-transition measures for minors and promoting LGBT ideology on children. The conservative commentator tweeted that discussing sex with kids is all part of the left's plan.

Breitbart: Rep. Donalds: Media Choosing to Ignore Smoking Guns on the Biden Family
Rep. Donalds: Media Choosing to Ignore Smoking Guns on the Biden Family
Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL) claims that an FBI document reviewed by the House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (KY) provides evidence of Joe Biden's involvement in a bribery scheme. He also states that the media will likely choose to ignore the evidence, and that the Democrats will attempt to dissemble. Donalds has endorsed Donald Trump for the 2024 presidential election, arguing that Trump has already done the job and that the next president will have to "unwind all of this foolishness that Joe Biden has done to the country."

Chris Christie Officially Enters 2024 Presidential Race
Chris Christie files paperwork to run for president in 2024, joining an increasingly crowded field which includes former vice president Mike Pence, Florida governor Ron DeSantis, former U.N. ambassador Nikki Haley, and South Carolina Senator Tim Scott. Christie is known for his rhetorical punch and plans to focus on the Republican debates, hoping to land similar blows to those he dealt to Marco Rubio in 2016. Doubts have emerged as to whether Christie will stick to attacking Trump alone, as he has also criticized DeSantis. Despite recent polls only showing him in the low single digits, Christie claims to see a path to victory.

Biden Gives Three Truly Bizarre Answers to Reporters' Questions at Cabinet Meeting
Reporters tried to ask Biden questions at his Cabinet meeting, but his staff yelled over them. Biden gave bizarre answers to questions about Ukraine and D-Day, and pretended to swing a golf club when asked about a merger. He finally issued a statement on D-Day late in the day. Biden's priorities are questionable, and his team seems to be avoiding sensitive topics to appease the Saudis.

The Epoch Times: Film Review: ‘The Great Awakening’
Film Review: ‘The Great Awakening’
"The Great Awakening," the third installment in the "Plandemic" series, suggests that the COVID-19 outbreak was just a small part of a diabolical plan by a few to create a New World Order (NWO). Director Mikki Willis and writer/producer Del Bigtree connect events from as far back as 1949 to what happened in 2020. The film also highlights the sinister mindset of Klaus Schwab, who is considered the chief strategist of the NWO.

Poll: More Than 7 in 10 Americans Support Same-Sex Marriage
Seventy percent of Americans support legalizing same-sex marriage, up from 27 percent in 1996, according to a Gallup News poll. Republicans and weekly churchgoers remain divided on the issue with 49 percent and 41 percent respectively supporting same-sex marriage, while majorities of other groups, including Democrats and people under 30, are more supportive. The poll, which surveyed 1,011 adults in the U.S., found an increase in support across all major subgroups.

BREAKING: Massive Brawl Breaks out outside Glendale, CA School Board as Armenian Parents Take on the Alphabet Mob
Clashes erupted at a Glendale Unified School District board meeting in LA over school pride events. Police intervened as parents, many from the Armenian-American community, protested amid left-wing counterprotesters. No physical confrontations were reported in earlier meetings, but tensions escalated after pro- and anti-LGBTQ+ groups clashed at a North Hollywood school last week. The city has the largest Armenian population outside Armenia, and activists claim that progressive values should not be forced on their children. A friend of RedState at the protest reported that skirmishes had occurred, but hundreds were still present at the scene.

Dying San Francisco Sustains Another Massive Blow
Park Hotels & Resorts is pulling out of San Francisco, ending its financial obligations on two hotels, due to the city's growing number of homeless drug addicts. CEO Thomas J. Baltimore stated that San Francisco's path to recovery remains clouded, and elongated by major concerns and challenges such as a record-high office vacancy, concerns over street conditions, lower return to office than peer cities, and a weaker than expected citywide convention calendar. Consequentially, the city is becoming dirtier, degrading, and dangerous with many of the city's sane residents fleeing. San Francisco was such a beautiful city. It'll be a terrific place for archaeologists to study.

The Epoch Times: R R Reno Examines the Perils of 'Permanent Revolution'
R R Reno Examines the Perils of 'Permanent Revolution'
Western culture suffers from a decay of authority, according to Catholic Scholar Rusty Reno. The Party of Permanency, which aims to preserve societal norms and institutions, and the Party of Change, made up of innovators critical of conventional wisdom, have become unbalanced. The catastrophic events of WWI and the ‘openness’ anti-authoritarian movement that followed annihilated the Party of Permanency legitimacy. As a result, institutions have been taken over by the Party of Change, and everything that anchors Western society has been lost. Young people have been entirely guided by radical movements operating on the internet, and conservatives are now denounced as ‘old people who cling to their Bibles and their guns.’ The decline of the traditional Party of Permanency has led to flexible, porous, and open anchoring realities, causing authoritative truths to be lost, while conservatives who believe in permanent truths are forced out of the mainstream culture. The future is still hopeful, however, as young Americans turn towards the traditional Latin Mass and there is a comeback of ‘the strong Gods.’

California Democrats Honor Anti-Catholic Drag ‘Sister,’ Republicans Sound Off
The California State Legislature's LGBTQ Caucus honored a member of the anti-Catholic "Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence" named Michael Williams, despite Republicans walking out in protest. Williams received a standing ovation in both chambers of California's legislature. Williams goes by the name "Sister Roma" and uses "she/her" pronouns. Some Republicans had requested that the Democrats withdraw the invitation to the Senate floor, but it was denied, “in the end, faith is stronger than any parody could possibly be,” said Democratic state Senator Toni Atkins.

A former intelligence official, David Grusch, claims that information on crashed UFOs has been illegally withheld from the American people. Grusch claims to have provided Congress and the Intelligence Community Inspector General with classified information about covert UAP programmes, proving that intact and partially smashed craft of non-human origin have been recovered. The truth should belong to the American people, says Pennsylvania Congressman Scott Perry in response to whistle-blower allegations of information being kept secret to "purposely and intentionally thwart legitimate congressional oversight of the UAP Program." The allegations come at a time of eroded public trust in the federal government.

The Buck Stops Nowhere
President Biden's slip-up in referring to the Black and Tans during his visit to Ireland reminded the author of Churchill's role in unleashing them. The world is in a fragile state, and recent events such as Russia's invasion of Ukraine and the increasing risk of nuclear war have been escalating tensions. The author questions who is responsible for the current state of affairs and believes that both political parties must take responsibility for the problem. Biden's advancing senility is not the only issue, as past presidents have faced similar crises that were handled with caution and diplomacy.

Johnston Says House Vote Asking Him to Step Down Was Based on ‘False’ Allegations
Special rapporteur David Johnston faced opposition MPs who wanted him to step down for his stance against holding a public inquiry on foreign interference. Johnston defended himself, stating that he was continuing in the position because he believed accusations made against him were false. The motion to ask him to resign came from the NDP MP Jenny Kwan, who was called an “evergreen” target for Beijing by the Canadian Security Intelligence Service. The opposition parties adopted the motion highlighting that many questions were left unanswered in his report despite recommending against holding a public inquiry.

Breitbart: Breitbart Business Digest: The Fed's Old Projections Are Walking Dead
Breitbart Business Digest: The Fed's Old Projections Are Walking Dead
The Federal Reserve meeting next week may not be in the statement or the interest rate decision but in the economic projections. The Fed seems poised to pause, and projections should get more hawkish. Fed officials are divided, but Powell's preference is what will become policy. The market-implied odds show an 80 percent chance that the Fed leaves the fed funds target unchanged and a 20 percent chance of a 25 basis point hike. Projections are likely to change, with GDP growing at a two percent rate in the second quarter, unemployment likely to decrease, and inflation possibly going up to four percent for headline PCE. If the fed funds projection remains unchanged, the Fed risks becoming a joke.

Wall Street inches closer to a bull market with the S&P 500 rising 0.2% and just 0.2% shy of 20% above mid-October numbers, as excitement around AI and lack of negative economic data combine to push the market up. However, financial analysts remain sceptical about called the bull and excitement around AI may be masking weaknesses underneath. This week's economic reports are unlikely to help answer the crucial Wall Street question of whether there will be a recession, or if inflation will fall and cause the Federal Reserve to cut interest rates.

The Birthplace of the American Artistic Imagination
The Hudson School of painting, originating in the rural counties surrounding New York City, fostered a distinctly American spiritual imagination, incorporating the majesty of God into the landscape. Washington Irving, America's first professional man of letters and a resident of Tarrytown, was an important figure in the creation of a distinctive American form of Romanticism in literature. The works of the Hudson artists and writers, including Irving, speak to us with particular force today, offering a portal to the sublime in a world increasingly denuded of beauty.

Pharmaceutical company Merck & Co. filed a lawsuit against the U.S. government, claiming that Medicare's new program violates the First and Fifth Amendments of the U.S. Constitution. The legal proceeding argues that the new program is a “sham” as it grants the Department of Health and Human Services too much power to impose its preferred price. The program mandates the U.S. government to negotiate prices for specific prescription drugs beginning in 2026 as part of the “Drug Price Negotiation Program” for Medicare, and through these negotiations, the Biden administration has promised to save $25 billion annually by 2031.

The Imaginative Conservative: Why Our Legal System Is Failing Us
Why Our Legal System Is Failing Us
The adversarial system is becoming increasingly flawed because lawyers are using it to undermine the legal process, behaving as if justice is best served by letting lawyers have it out within the legal system, like gladiators in the arena. Pressure to “settle” or “plea bargain” cases now undermines legal rights and is itself part of a cycle of decreasing trust in American culture—decreasing trust in one another and decreasing trust in the law itself as a neutral arbiter of reasonable conduct. Instead, Americans increasingly rely on finding the best lawyer to help them “win” regardless of the facts, a system that inevitably favors the rich and powerful, who can afford the best attorneys.

Indiana Man Charged With Threatening to Kill Rep. Jim Banks and His Family
Indiana man Aaron Thompson has been charged with making a series of threatening calls to Rep. Jim Banks (R-Ind.) and his family. Thompson was arrested last month in relation to calls he reportedly made to Banks’s office on April 6 and April 11. Thompson allegedly expressed his desire that Banks would die in a car crash, made vulgar comments about the congressman’s wife, and declared that he hoped “you [expletive] get your brains blown out.” Thompson indicated he had a gun and in his last two calls allegedly posed a dilemma for Banks, telling him to either die or have his daughters killed. Thompson is charged with intimidation and harassment.

Several lawmakers have recently been the targets of threats, and their families have been targeted too. In October, Dave DePape, a Californian man, was accused of striking House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's husband, Paul Pelosi, with a hammer after breaking into their home. Eric Charles Welton was arrested and charged last month after he made threatening phone calls to Republican North Carolina senators Thom Tillis and Richard Burr in September 2021. The suspect alluded to killing everyone he saw at Tillis’s office space in Raleigh. Brian Landry was charged last week with threatening to kill a U.S. senator who has been blocking a list of pending military promotions. Landry allegedly said he was a veteran sniper and had his scope pointed at the senator.

Australia to Create a Marine Park Bigger Than Japan
Australia is set to triple the size of its Macquarie Island marine park, making it far larger than Japan. After rejecting an application for fisheries to trawl through the new marine park, the federal environment minister Tanya Plibersek signed off on a final design for the expansion on June 5, which will allow two fisheries to continue operating. The marine park, established in 1999, currently covers 162,000 square kilometres, with depths from 86 metres to 6,341 metres. It will grow to cover 475,465 square kilometres after the expansion. An area larger than Germany, which makes up 93 percent of the park, will be completely off-limits to fishing, mining, and other extractive activities. Industry representatives have said they support environmental conservation but have concerns about the process.
