National Review: Trump’s Indictment Looms in the Mar-a-Lago Case
An indictment of former President Donald Trump by the Biden Justice Department’s special counsel, Jack Smith, is imminent. It would center on Trump’s obstruction of a federal grand jury’s probe regarding his unlawful retention of national-defense intelligence at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach .
Smith’s remit also includes any potential crimes that could be charged against Trump arising out of the Capitol riot and his related effort to reverse the results of the 2020 presidential election. However, it does not appear that any such charges will be brought — at least for now, and probably not at all .
The Epoch Times: Known Travellers From 13 More Countries Can Skip Visa to Come to Canada: Minister
Canada is expanding a program that enables low-risk travellers from 13 countries to visit without applying for a visa. In an effort to ease the flow of tourists and business travellers while freeing up visa-processing resources for higher-risk visitors, the government is now allowing visitors from countries including Costa Rica, Thailand and Argentina to apply for an electronic travel authorisation, a digital document that costs CAD7 ($5.43) and can be processed in a few minutes. To use the programme, travellers must either have held a Canadian visa in the previous 10 years or possess a non-immigrant US visa and be travelling by air. Acting Immigration Minister Marc Fraser hopes to include further countries in the programme.
The Federalist Papers: New Text Messages Show Tense Exchange Between MTG and Matt Gaetz: 'I'm Done'
MAGA firebrands Marjorie Taylor Greene and Matt Gaetz feud in leaked text messages. Greene defends her alignment with Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy amid criticism from opponents and criticism from conservative influencer Steve Bannon. Bannon called for both Greene and Ohio Rep. Jim Jordan to face primary challenges in a Gettr message last week, citing their support of the debt ceiling deal. Greene predicts that she will overcome any primary challenge brought about by Bannon and conservative activist Laura Loomer, and rips Bannon as a toxic and bad individual. The ally of former President Donald Trump expressed no willingness to reconcile with Bannon in the message, and urged Gaetz to notify him that any expectation of working together wouldn’t be realized. The Epoch Times: House Fails to Advance Bill Against Banning Gas Stovetops
Conservative Republicans have prevented the US House of Representatives from beginning a debate on bills to protect gas cookers and ease regulation of new federal rules. A bill to allow new rules to be passed by Congress again was also blocked after a group of House members, many from the Freedom Caucus, expressed discontent with House GOP leadership's handling of the country's $32tn debt. New legislation would require a majority to vote to move to a considered bill before a final vote can be passed or rejected. Representatives including Lauren Boebert, Bob Good, Matt Gaetz and Ralph Norman voted against the procedural move, citing mistrust of GOP leadership and the failure to reduce the national debt.
The Federalist Papers: Chris Christie Launches Presidential Campaign - And He Already Has Humiliating News
Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie has formally entered the 2024 Republican presidential race, positioning himself as an alternative to former President Donald Trump. However, a recent poll by Morning Consult shows Christie is trailing significantly behind Trump and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis in popularity, and tied with other candidates at the bottom of the poll. Only 30% of the GOP voters view Christie favorably, and nearly 40% dislike him.
The Right Scoop: [UPDATED] Bill O’Reilly says Trump to be indicted by Special Council Jack Smith and his source is ‘extremely reliable’
Former President Donald Trump's attorneys met with Special Counsel Jack Smith at the Justice Department this morning, leading to speculation that Trump will be indicted on felony charges concerning the removal of classified documents in an unauthorized way. Bill O'Reilly reported that the indictment will be imminent and Trump is expected to make a statement shortly citing prosecutorial misconduct. It remains to be seen whether O'Reilly's claims will stand up.
The Epoch Times: Rep. Gaetz to Advance Contempt Resolution Against Manhattan Lawyer Who Pushed Trump Indictment
Rep. Matt Gaetz seeks contempt of Congress charges against Manhattan lawyer Mark Pomerantz for his Fifth Amendment protection refusal during a House Oversight and Accountability Committee investigation into Manhattan's indictment of former President Donald Trump. Pomerantz, the anti-Trump author of "People vs. Donald Trump," claims the questions aimed at him were allegedly an act of political theatre. If Pomerantz fails to comply with the congressional subpoena, Gaetz said he hopes Speaker McCarthy will support the move.
Washington Free Beacon: Born to Run: Chris Christie Files Paperwork for Presidential Run
Former New Jersey governor Chris Christie has filed paperwork to formally launch his 2024 presidential campaign. Christie, who served as an adviser to former president Donald Trump's 2016 campaign and has become a critic of the former president's claims about the 2020 election, is scheduled to announce his campaign later today. Despite his early support for Trump, Christie did not fare well in a May poll of potential Republican primary voters, receiving just 1% support compared to Trump's 49% and Florida governor Ron DeSantis's 19%. Other Republicans seeking to challenge President Joe Biden include former U.N. ambassador Nikki Haley and U.S. senator Tim Scott.
National Review: The Corner: The REINS Act is Back
The REINS Act requires congressional approval for any proposed federal agency rule with an economic impact of $100 million or more. Congress has delegated increasing amounts of its authority to regulatory bodies, which has led to a growth of the regulatory burden. The REINS Act aims to enhance democratic accountability, reduce regulatory overreach, and put more decision-making power in elected representatives' hands. If enacted, regulations would need to be approved by both the House and Senate before going into effect. The Biden Administration has imposed significant burden costs on the private sector, making the REINS Act's enactment even more crucial. ( )

Forbes: What Does ‘Woke’ Even Mean? How A Decades-Old Racial Justice Term Became Co-Opted By Politics
Conservatives have co-opted the term "woke" to criticize brands supporting Pride Month and teaching about race in schools, branding it as "cultural Marxism" and a "virus more dangerous than any pandemic". Originally used within Black communities and social justice campaigns, "woke" referred to awareness of inequality and urged others to "stay woke". However, the conservative adaptation of the word dilutes its purpose, leading to some critics accusing white liberals of using it in a performative way to appear progressive. Despite the negative use of the term, Google searches for "woke" have reached an all-time high, and the term is now heavily utilized in politics and society.
Breitbart: LGBT Groups Demand Target Denounce ‘Anti-LGBTQ+ Extremism’
LGBT groups are urging Target to restock and publicly support the “pride” collection amidst backlash over controversial items like "tuck friendly" swimsuits. The groups also requested a public statement of support from Target within 24 hours. Target's previous statement mentioned the removal of items that caused confrontational behavior but also affirmed the brand's "continuing commitment" to the LGBTQIA+ community. The controversy has cost Target over $13 billion in market value and resulted in a call for the release of corporate records from America First Legal.
Forbes: ‘Gender Identity Is Real’: Judge Temporarily Blocks Florida’s Ban On Gender Affirming Care For Minors
A federal judge has granted a preliminary injunction against Florida's ban on gender-affirming care for minors, temporarily blocking the law. The ban, signed into law by Governor Ron DeSantis in May, also made it a felony for doctors to provide the care. Parents of transgender children have sued the state, arguing the law is unconstitutional and limits their parental rights. The judge agreed with the parents, saying gender identity is real and gender-affirming care is medically necessary. Governor DeSantis has championed legislation restricting LGBTQ+ rights, making it a key facet of his culture war amid a run for the White House.
Breitbart: Connecticut Elementary School Shows Students Gender Identity Video
A Connecticut elementary school showed a video on gender identity to third, fourth, and fifth grade students without informing parents beforehand. The video, produced by Universal Kids for Pride Month, features children discussing their “preferred pronouns” and having “two moms”. Outraged parents believe that elementary school children are too young to be exposed to the ideas in the video, which some found disturbing. The superintendent’s office responded that they were handling complaints internally and that the video was “designed for 2-to-12-year-olds”.
The Blaze: Pro-LGBT advocacy group declares state of emergency for LGBTQ+ Americans
The Human Rights Campaign, a pro-LGBT group, has declared a state of emergency for LGBT Americans due to real, tangible, and dangerous threats resulting in violence against the community, forcing some families to move in search of safer states. The group opposes commonsense state measures, and in particular, laws that prohibit gender-transition measures on minors, and laws that ban males from participating in female sports. They have demanded that Target release a public statement reaffirming their commitment to the LGBT community, put pride merchandise back on sale and ensure the safety of team members.
Elon Musk publicly condemned the practice of performing gender-transition measures on minors as "pure evil" and announced he will be actively lobbying to criminalize making severe and irreversible changes to children below the age of consent.

The Blaze: Tucker Carlson releases first video of new show on Twitter and rips into media narratives about Ukraine war
Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson launched his new show on Twitter, where he attacked those who support the Ukrainian war against Russia. Carlson used most of his time in the show to criticize Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and the Republicans who have supported the US sending money and military supplies to the nation. He also accused the media of supporting the war and connected it with a report that the US covered up an incident in which an extraterrestrial UFO was allegedly recovered. Carlson ended the show by comparing Americans to Russians under the Soviet Union, saying that the US government has classified more than a billion public documents, which contradicts democracy.

Daily Wire: Rep. Luna Signals FBI Director Wray Could Face Prison Over Document Alleging Biden’s Involvement In Bribery Scheme
Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) hinted that FBI Director Christopher Wray could be jailed if he refuses to provide a document alleging President Joe Biden's involvement in a $5 million foreign criminal bribery scheme. According to Luna, the FBI is trying to shield its informant, who said he would be killed if identified. The whistleblower stated that the FBI has an FD-1023 form dated June 30, 2020, detailing information accusing Biden of taking part in a criminal bribery scheme with a foreign national for influence in foreign policy decisions. The House Oversight Committee warned it would begin contempt of Congress proceedings if the FBI fails to hand over the FD-1023 form.
The FBI confirmed that the document exists and offered the committee the opportunity to see it in person at FBI headquarters, though Luna and others have demanded that the document be handed over to them. If the FBI fails to comply, the committee will initiate contempt proceedings. However, the FBI said it has demonstrated its commitment to accommodate the committee's request. Under the circumstances, the bureau believes that escalation to a contempt vote is unwarranted, and this commonsense safeguard is often employed in response to congressional requests and court proceedings to protect important concerns such as the physical safety of sources and the integrity of investigations.
The Epoch Times: Johnston Says Not All Intelligence Reviewed in Reaching His Conclusions on Foreign Interference
Special rapporteur David Johnston admits he did not have access to all relevant information when creating his report on foreign interference. During his testimony before a parliamentary committee on June 6, Johnston said that given the volume of information available, he did not see all of the data. He also recommended against holding an inquiry, arguing that the process would be too lengthy. His admission that he was pressed for time in reviewing the intelligence drew criticism from opposition members and accusations that the issue of foreign interference is not being dealt with adequately. The next stage of Johnston’s review includes public hearings.
Red State: Tucker Carlson's First Episode Melts Twitter, Here's What He Said That Will Have Heads Exploding
Tucker Carlson's return to the public sphere with his first official Twitter episode resulted in high demand for his new show. In a 10-minute monologue ranging in topics from Ukraine to Lindsey Graham to Nikki Haley, Carlson did not pay any compliments, and his words have many on the left and right melting down. Carlson questioned who blew up the Kakhovka dam in southern Ukraine, suggesting that it was probably the Ukrainians. He also criticized Bill Kristol, Volodymyr Zelensky, Lindsey Graham, and Nikki Haley for their involvement in the Ukrainian conflict and their hypocritical statements.
Flag And Cross: UFO Bombshell: Feds Possess Intact Advanced Alien Craft, Says US Intelligence Whistleblower
The US government has been collecting intact non-human vehicles that either landed or crashed, according to David Grusch, an Air Force veteran and whistleblower. Grusch claims that there has been a crash retrieval program in existence for some time, which has retrieved "non-human exotic origin vehicles." He also states that officials have been hiding the truth from the American populace about this highly secret group. Other retired military and intelligence officials have backed Grusch's statements and believe that the time has come to tell the public the whole story, although some secrecy is necessary to avoid asymmetrical warfare .

Daily Wire: Buttegieg’s Looming Maritime Supply Chain Crisis
Ports along the Gulf and East Coast of the United States are seeing an increase in shipments due to congestion and labour strikes at West Coast ports. However, a drought in Panama is causing water levels to drop, which could lead to weight and surcharge limitations for vessels using the Panama Canal, impacting shipping routes. The combination of these disruptions could intensify inflation and consequently impact the US supply chain and economy.

Daily Wire: Tuesday Afternoon Update: Dam In Ukraine Is Destroyed, Judge Blocks Florida Law Prohibiting Minor Sex-Rejection Procedures
A federal judge blocked a new Florida law that prohibits transgender medical treatment for minors. The ruling says the state has no rational basis for denying patients this treatment. The judge claims that evidence shows that “gender identity is real.”
A major dam in southern Ukraine was destroyed, causing over 15,000 residents downstream to evacuate. Russia and Ukraine are accusing each other of knocking out the Kakhovka dam and a nearby hydroelectric plant. The dam’s failure is causing immediate concerns about water supplies in the region.
The Epoch Times: Some of Nation's Largest Pediatric Hospitals Will No Longer Offer Children Gender Modification
Texas has become the most populous state to ban gender-transition procedures for children, signing a new law that prohibits puberty blockers, sterilization, and permanently disfiguring surgeries. Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston and Children’s Medical Center of Dallas currently offer gender-altering services to youths but will no longer be able to, and doctors performing gender modifications on children in the state stand to lose their medical licenses. Some critics of the surgeries argue that the psychological problems experienced by children with gender dysphoria will not go away if they undergo gender-transition procedures.
The Epoch Times: WHO Pandemic Treaty Is a Threat to Liberty
The proposed pandemic treaty is causing controversy, with some concerned that it would give too much power to the China-led World Health Organization and infringe on U.S. sovereignty. The WHO would have the authority to draft conventions and agreements on any aspect of health and determine when and how lockdowns are carried out, regulate disease nomenclatures, and approve drugs and treatments. Conservatives believe that this would be the end of national sovereignty and freedom. While the treaty is considered a legally-binding document, there is no enforcement mechanism, but it could encourage compliance. Some members of Congress and British parliament are skeptical of the proposed treaty, concerned about the WHO's power to enforce lockdowns.

The Epoch Times: Chicago Walgreens Restricts Unlocked Aisles to Two Due to Crime
Walgreens in Chicago has redesigned one of its stores to allow customers access to only two aisles of essential items protected by anti-theft devices. Non-essential items can only be ordered digitally at kiosks and later picked up at a counter in a pilot program. Walgreens has been closing stores across the US due to increasing shoplifting, which cost the industry almost $100 billion in losses since 2022. The tight security measures have received mixed reviews from customers, with some complaining about a lack of trust and a dislike for kiosk ordering, while others appreciate the ability to access essential items.
After reducing expenditures on private security, Walgreens Boots Alliance admitted to overblowing fears of organized retail theft and has decided to put in more law enforcement in their stores. Walgreens CFO James Kehoe said that shrinkage fell into the mid-twos in 2023 and the company plans on cutting 504 corporate jobs. The company posted a net loss of $3 billion in the first half of this fiscal year, largely due to opioid claims and lawsuits in San Francisco. Walgreens was found liable for contributing to the opioid epidemic and agreed to pay a $230 million settlement to San Francisco.

A case is currently pending before the Eleventh Circuit challenging the statute and the DOJ’s enforcement of it.

The Epoch Times: Why Elon Musk's 'Everything App' Should Worry Us All
Elon Musk's recent tweet about transforming Twitter into "X," the everything app, has raised speculation that he is trying to bring China's WeChat to America. WeChat, with over 1 billion users, offers its users a range of services from messaging, ordering food, and booking flights. However, WeChat is also a spy tool for the Chinese Communist Party and is banned in Montana, posing a risk to users globally. While Musk's plan to create his "everything app" is exciting, it raises privacy and security concerns, as an app like this would have access to an inordinate amount of user data, making it easier for governments to keep citizens under surveillance, and potentially making users vulnerable to data leaks.
