Breitbart: Poll: Nearly One-Third of Gen Z Support Government Surveillance
A survey by CATO Institute/YouGov found that 29% of Americans aged 18 to 29 would favor putting government surveillance cameras in every household to reduce domestic violence and abuse. However, just 14% of Americans support the idea overall, while 74% are opposed, with the remainder unsure. Those over 45 were the least supportive of the idea. Black Americans support the idea the most, with 33% in favour, followed by Hispanic Americans with 25%, Asian Americans with 11% and white Americans with 9%.
The Blaze: RFK Jr. tells Musk he wants to permanently seal the US-Mexico border; links mass shootings to pharmaceutical drugs
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. raised eyebrows during a recent Twitter Spaces interview with Elon Musk, Tulsi Gabbard, and other guests as he championed a number of politically divisive opinions. He expressed the desire to close the US-Mexico border, indicated a link between mass shootings and pharmaceutical drugs, and claimed that COVID-19 was "clearly a bioweapon," among other assertions. Kennedy, a Democrat running for president in 2024, took a constitutional absolutist stance on the Second Amendment and emphasized the need to understand the root causes of gun violence. The interview had over 64,000 active listeners during the live broadcast and has since gained over 1.8 million listeners.
Kennedy also cited the impact of illegal immigration on the US, stating that the nation must control its borders and stop accepting individuals from countries worldwide, especially given the humanitarian crisis that has emerged as a result of the non-existent borders. The 69-year-old former prosecutor claims that psychiatric drugs used in the US are causing the high levels of violence, whereas other countries with comparable gun shares have less psychological disturbances. Finally, he accused the Democratic Party of having various influences on the pharmaceutical industry and disseminating a belief in war as the best solution for matters abroad. The New York Times disparages him as a "conspiracy theorist" and bitter cup pouring out misinformation.
Daily Wire: DeSantis, Haley Spar Over Florida Governor’s Handling Of Disney
DeSantis and Haley, both Republicans seeking the 2024 presidential nomination, reignited their feud over DeSantis' ongoing battle with Disney. Haley accused him of accepting donations in the past and then attacking the company when they criticized him, calling it ethically questionable and a waste of taxpayer money. DeSantis responded by saying he operates based on his own convictions, not favors, and pushed back on her claim that he gave Disney subsidies. He also criticized Republicans who side with big businesses over fighting the "sexualization of minors and children."

The Epoch Times: US Supreme Court Declines to Rehear Case of Woman Fighting IRS
The US Supreme Court has denied a rehearing for an 82-year-old woman involved in a battle with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). The court had previously turned away the woman's appeal over a $2.1m penalty that the IRS imposed upon her after she failed to report a foreign bank account. The Boston-based 1st US Circuit Court ruled that the Eighth Amendment's protections did not apply in this case because the IRS's civil penalty was not tied to any criminal sanction.
Red State: Elliot Page Claims Vicious 'Transphobic' Attack, but There Are Questions
Elliot Page, formerly known as Ellen Page, claims to have been the target of a "transphobic" attack and death threat in Los Angeles. The account is contained in Page’s new book and was the basis of a profile in The Los Angeles Times. However, the lack of corroboration or a police report raises doubts about the veracity of the account. Furthermore, Page's history of support for Jussie Smollett's hoax and anti-gun stance further undermines the credibility of the allegation.

Euromaidan Press: Russian messaging on Kakhovka dam explosion inconsistent, challenging official accusation
Russia is accused of detonating a dam owned by Ukraine on the Dnipro river, causing flooding downstream. Ukrainian journalist Kostiantyn Ryzhenko claims that the dam was blown up by Russia to flood Ukrainian troops on Dnipro islands. Discussions on Romanov's channel say Russian military thwarted the Ukrainian presence on the islands, finding Ukrainian presence on the islands to be a nuisance and suggesting "self-detonation" as an option. Russian officials spread inconsistent messaging, contradicting themselves on whether or not the dam was detonated or struck, before settling on blaming Ukraine for strikes at the dam.

The Epoch Times: US Agency Sues Major Cryptocurrency Exchange
Cryptocurrency platform Coinbase has been sued by the US Securities and Exchange Commission for operating without registration, leading to a drop in its stock prices. The lawsuit alleges that the company earned billions of dollars in revenue by not following regulations, exposing investors to risk. The Securities Exchange Act of 1934 requires companies to register with the SEC if they meet certain criteria, such as having assets valued at over $10m and issuing securities. Coinbase, which enables people to buy and sell cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, has failed to meet these requirements. Authorities have said at least 13 assets that Coinbase offers meet the definition of securities.
Forbes: Work Requirements? The Ongoing Lessons Of ‘America Works’
Work requirements for government benefit recipients emerged as a major issue in the debt ceiling negotiations and will continue to be a major issue going forward. Critics of work requirements have compared these requirements to the workhouses of the past, but former benefit recipients and the community groups that have assisted them know better. Work requirements have changed the culture and practice of welfare offices by assisting welfare recipients in obtaining employment, and have improved the employment prospects of those who were unable to identify resources and become stuck in their lives. America Works, one of the largest workforce agencies in the nation, collaborates with social service departments and local workforce boards throughout the country to provide job preparation, placement, and retention services to unemployed welfare recipients, ex-offenders, workers with disabilities, the homeless, and veterans, and has seen the benefits of such work requirements firsthand.

The Epoch Times: Veterans' Homelessness to Cost Billions If Unaddressed
A new report has found that almost 6,000, or 5.3%, of Australia’s half a million veterans were homeless in the past year, a rate almost three times higher than the general population. However, only 1.1% accessed support services. Female veterans were more than twice as likely to die by suicide, with men 30% more likely. Veterans’ homelessness would cost $4.6bn over 30 years, whilst veteran suicides would cost $140m annually. It is society’s “duty” to ensure veterans can reintegrate into normal life when they return home.

Breitbart: Nolte: Woke Fascists Censor Best Picture Winner ‘The French Connection’
Disney, who have owned 20th Century Fox for four years, have started to censor The French Connection, a film which won an Oscar for Best Picture in 1971. The censorship was noticed by a viewer while watching the film on the Criterion Channel and has also been reported at American Cinematheque's Aero Theatre and on iTunes. Several viewers have expressed concern, expressing that it is important to preserve art and challenging the notion of censorship. It is suspected that the censorship is related to the use of a racial slur by a character in the film.
The French Connection is a film by William Friedkin that is based on true events. The film explores the story of a narcotics detective, Jimmy "Popeye" Doyle, and his pursuit of international drug dealer, Alain Charnier. Throughout the film, Doyle's character uses racist language and engages in immoral behaviour, challenging the viewer to think through their emotions about the complicated protagonist. The film was censored by several distributors, including Disney-owned 20th Century Fox, leading to concerns about the censorship of other works of art. The film is now only available in its original form in hard copies.

The third match between the two stars is reportedly planned as a big gimmick match which will take place at Ford Field in Detroit on August 5. Despite Rhodes being sidelined with a storyline broken arm and Lesnar appearing to be off the Money in the Bank card, the match between them is shaping up to be one of the top attractions at SummerSlam. WWE has a good record of giving storylines some room and time to breathe and the Lesnar vs. Rhodes feud, though far from epic, is a star-studded rivalry that should culminate at WWE’s summertime version of WrestleMania.

Field & Stream: World's Only-Known Albino Panda Documented in China
An all-white panda was captured on infrared cameras at Wolong National Nature Reserve in China. The footage, taken during the mating season in February, shows the unusual animal approaching a regular sow panda with a cub. Researchers speculate that the all-white panda might be the mother of the cub as the animals appeared calm and not defensive. The panda's red eyes mean it is almost certainly a full albino and not a color-phase bear. Albino pandas are extremely rare and can have reduced survival rates in the wild.
