American Thinker: Apocalyptic Peggy Noonan threatens ‘Trump Republicans’
Apocalyptic Peggy Noonan threatens ‘Trump Republicans’
If Peggy Noonan ran for president, she'd be barred from debates for refusing to pledge support for a Trump candidacy. In her column, Noonan declares that if "Trump Republicans" nominate him next year, "they will have ended the Republican Party." She abhors the idea of conservatism being tempered by populism, and has signaled that she will not shrink from joining the anti-freedom movement that will tear the country apart if she has her way.

Biden's 'watch me moment' will haunt him in 2024 after recent fall, Republican strategists say
Republican strategists express concerns about President Biden's physical and mental fitness after he fell at an Air Force event, raising questions about his ability to serve as president for another term. Some have criticized his age and mental decline, while others argue that his accomplishments and ability to govern should be the focus, rather than his physical abilities. However, concerns about his age and abilities remain valid for some in the Republican Party.

The Epoch Times: More Dogs Could Show up in Outdoor Dining Spaces—Not Everyone Is Happy About It
More Dogs Could Show up in Outdoor Dining Spaces—Not Everyone Is Happy About It
Restaurants in the US are able to allow pet dogs in their outdoor spaces. Service dogs have been allowed for decades, but only in the mid-2000s did some states begin allowing dogs in outdoor spaces. Now, 23 states have laws or regulation with many restaurants across the country accommodating pet dogs. However, some diners and restaurants are opposed to the idea, citing hygiene and safety concerns. Yelp searches using the 'dogs allowed' filter has surged by 58% between 2021 and 2023, showing more people are looking for dog-friendly dining options. Restaurants must have signs saying dogs are welcome and develop plans to handle dogs and their waste under new guidance issued by the US Food and Drug Administration.

Sky News publishes alleged contract of Iranian ammunition sales to Russia
An alleged contract for artillery sales worth over $1 million has been published by Sky News, which if authentic, would be the first evidence of Iran’s support for Russia in its war against Ukraine. The contract reportedly covers orders for diverse artillery items, including tank shells and rockets. Both the UK’s Foreign Secretary and Ukraine’s Prime Minister have pledged to investigate the authenticity of the document, which comes at a time when both Russia and Ukraine are running low on ammunition. Western allies are seeking to provide Kyiv with more support while Moscow has turned its defense industry to a war footing.

Fox News: California educational leaders push CRT lessons that praise Marxist who looked up to Osama bin Laden
California educational leaders push CRT lessons that praise Marxist who looked up to Osama bin Laden
California public school leaders are involved in a "liberation" consulting agency that promotes Marxist ideas and glorifies communism, including an activist who expressed support for Osama bin Laden. The Liberated Ethnic Studies Model Curriculum Consortium (LESMCC), which is used in numerous California districts, is led by an elected school board member, senior administrators, and ethnic studies teachers, according to a report by the Institute for Liberal Values. The curriculum is accused of promoting a "radical anti-American and anti-Western" agenda, as well as teaching children a racialized and oppressive view of American democracy. The curriculum includes lessons on intersectionality and encourages students to create a "racialized intersectional identity" to understand how their race fits into "systems of power and oppression."

Club Leon Concacaf Triumph Over LAFC Exactly What Leagues Cup Needed
Club Leon's victory over LAFC in the Concacaf Champions League final could revive the historic rivalry between Liga MX and MLS. The competition was previously dominated by Mexican sides, but recent victories by MLS clubs, coupled with declining form of the Mexico national team and Liga MX clubs, had led some observers to question the competitiveness of the matchup. However, the opportunity for Mexican American fans to see Liga MX teams in the United States has unique appeal, and the victory by Club Leon may restore the edge to the border rivalry that began with the insistence of Mexicans on their superiority over the upstart Americans.

The Great Lakes Fisherman: How to Research New Water
How to Research New Water
Fishing in new water can be tough. Researching lakes and rivers before hitting the water can increase success. First, look at stocking and netting reports to see what kind of fish exists in the lake and get an idea of what size of fish have potential to be there. Mapping is the next step. Google Earth allows you to look for specific and useful details that will help determine how and where you will approach fishing. The last step is identifying the baitfish in the body of water you are planning to fish. This will influence the colour and presentation of bait that the fish will be willing to take. Matching the hatch is essential.
