However, some diners and restaurants are opposed to the idea, citing hygiene and safety concerns. Yelp searches using the 'dogs allowed' filter has surged by 58% between 2021 and 2023, showing more people are looking for dog-friendly dining options. Restaurants must have signs saying dogs are welcome and develop plans to handle dogs and their waste under new guidance issued by the US Food and Drug Administration.

The Liberated Ethnic Studies Model Curriculum Consortium (LESMCC), which is used in numerous California districts, is led by an elected school board member, senior administrators, and ethnic studies teachers, according to a report by the Institute for Liberal Values. The curriculum is accused of promoting a "radical anti-American and anti-Western" agenda, as well as teaching children a racialized and oppressive view of American democracy. The curriculum includes lessons on intersectionality and encourages students to create a "racialized intersectional identity" to understand how their race fits into "systems of power and oppression."

The Epoch Times: Nvidia to Build Israeli Supercomputer as AI Demand Soars
Nvidia is building Israel's most powerful AI supercomputer, called Israel-1, which is expected to be partly operational by the end of 2023. The cloud-based system is anticipated to deliver up to eight exaflops of AI computing, with Gilad Shainer, a senior vice president at Nvidia, noting that AI is "the most important technology in our lifetime". Shainer added that training AI and generative AI applications required large graphics processing units, and that Israeli companies would now have access to a supercomputer to help tackle more complex problems. Nvidia bought Mellanox Technologies in 2019 and has been working with partners to build new supercomputers using new Nvidia chips that will compete with Intel and Advanced Micro Devices Inc.
