Armed Cartel Gunmen Arrested in Texas near Border, Says DPS
Texas troopers working under Governor Abbott's Operation Lone Star border security mission found a group of five migrants near Fronton, two of whom were carrying AR-15 rifles. The men are believed to be linked to the Cartel Del Noreste faction of Los Zetas. Two more migrants were found during a subsequent search, and both appeared afraid. The discovery highlights the dangers that an unsecured border poses to national security and public safety.

National Review: The Corner: Sununu’s Decision to Sit Out 2024 Could Matter a Lot
The Corner: Sununu’s Decision to Sit Out 2024 Could Matter a Lot
New Hampshire GOP governor Chris Sununu won't run for president, stating that there's a very large field and candidates need to be called out when they're in the single digits and splitting the non-Trump vote. Sununu hopes other Republicans will follow his lead in order to unite behind a GOP candidate who can beat Trump. His decision to sit out 2024 makes it much more likely that someone else can consolidate the non-Trump vote in New Hampshire.

Fox News: Trump lawyers meet officials at DOJ as special counsel probe on classified documents near end
Trump lawyers meet officials at DOJ as special counsel probe on classified documents near end
President Trump's legal team met with federal law enforcement officials to discuss claims of prosecutorial misconduct in Special Counsel Jack Smith's investigation into classified records found at Mar-a-Lago. Smith was appointed to investigate Trump's alleged improper retention of classified records from his presidency, after the FBI raided his home and found classified material. Sources have confirmed that investigators possess an audio recording of Trump in which he allegedly acknowledges holding onto a sensitive military document after leaving office. It's unclear when Smith will announce his findings or whether he plans to prosecute Trump.

Garland initially chose U.S. Attorney John Lausch to conduct a review of classified records discovered at the Penn Biden Center and later appointed U.S. Attorney Robert Hur as special counsel to investigate Biden's improper retention of classified records. Meanwhile, classified records were found at former Vice President Mike Pence's home in Indiana. The Justice Department completed its investigation in the matter and has reported that Pence will not be charged. Smith has also taken over the Justice Department's investigation into the Capitol riot on Jan. 6, 2021.

Comer On FBI Record On Alleged Biden Corruption: FBI Says It’s Part Of ‘Ongoing Investigation,’ Not ‘Disproven’
FBI Director Christopher Wray may face contempt of Congress after the agency refused to hand over an unclassified document apparently containing allegations that then-Vice President Joe Biden was involved in a criminal bribery scheme. House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer said he would initiate contempt of Congress hearings this Thursday after the FBI refused to release the unclassified record. Comer insisted that the allegations were part of an ongoing investigation.

The Epoch Times: Supreme Court’s ‘Waters of US’ Ruling a Milestone in Curbing EPA’s Unlawful Overreach
Supreme Court’s ‘Waters of US’ Ruling a Milestone in Curbing EPA’s Unlawful Overreach
The Supreme Court's unanimous Sackett v. Environmental Protection Agency decision in May set a milestone in efforts to curb the overreach of regulatory authorities. The court reaffirmed the rule of law and the right of Americans to hold regulators accountable. The case arose from the EPA declaring the intended building site of a couple Michael and Chantell Sackett as wetlands, on account of it having a ditch that fed into a non-navigable creek, which in turn fed into Priest Lake, and then into intra-state waters. The EPA then threatened the couple with fines of $40,000 p/d if they continued without restoring the site. The Court held that this action went beyond EPA Clean Water Act authority.

The Federalist: Even 'Morning Joe' Knows Dems, Not Voters, Want Late Abortion
Even 'Morning Joe' Knows Dems, Not Voters, Want Late Abortion
Joe Scarborough acknowledges that the Democratic Party's stance on abortion does not align with most Americans, who support bans after 15 weeks. Many candidates and elected officials now openly support abortion as a moral good, up until and after birth, contrary to the Clinton standard of "safe, legal, and rare." Scarborough doubts that making abortion a defining issue in the first primary debate would be a winning strategy for Democrats, as the party has become increasingly radical in recent years, straying farther from mainstream voters' opinions on abortion.

Townhall: Unions, Washington Lackeys Exploit Ohio Rail Tragedy to Fatten Coffers
Unions, Washington Lackeys Exploit Ohio Rail Tragedy to Fatten Coffers
The East Palestine train derailment is being exploited by labor unions to increase membership, with political support from Democrats and Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg. The proposed Railway Safety Act could have bipartisan support for technological upgrades, but unions want to mandate two-person crews, which would primarily hurt smaller regional railroads and increase union dues. This is an unrelated union agenda that has nothing to do with the tragedy at hand, but rather a way for the vultures to profit off the crisis.

Red State: Donald Trump's Attorneys Just Met with DOJ for Just Under 2 Hours; Trump Responds on Social Media
Donald Trump's Attorneys Just Met with DOJ for Just Under 2 Hours; Trump Responds on Social Media
Former President Donald Trump’s attorneys, John Rowley, James Trusty, and Lindsey Halligan, met with Department of Justice officials to discuss their frustration over the agency’s handling of attorney-client matters in recent months. The lawyers were reportedly concerned about the discussion of subject matter in the presence of grand jury and sought to address the issue. The DOJ’s Attorney General Merrick Garland was not present during the meeting.

The former President’s attorney Evan Corcoran was compelled to testify before a federal grand jury in Washington, D.C. as part of an ongoing investigation into Trump’s retention of documents containing classified markings. The special counsel team, led by Jack Smith, appointed by Attorney General Merrick Garland last November, sought to question Corcoran about allegedly facilitating criminal activity. Despite appeals by Trump, an appellate court upheld Judge Howell’s decision to partially grant the request, citing the “crime-fraud exception” to attorney-client privilege.

The Epoch Times: Ex-Trump Lawyer Says DOJ May Decline to Charge Former President Over Classified Docs
Ex-Trump Lawyer Says DOJ May Decline to Charge Former President Over Classified Docs
Former President Donald Trump may not face charges for mishandling classified documents due to the difficulty in proving it and the potential implications for national defense information. Timothy Parlatore, a former attorney for Trump, said he would not be surprised if special counsel Jack Smith declined to prosecute Trump based on considerations of facts, law, and discretion. Parlatore also defended the Justice Department’s decision not to prosecute former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton over her use of a private server. Smith was appointed by the Department of Justice in November to lead investigations into Trump’s handling of classified documents and potential interference in the peaceful transfer of power after the 2020 election, but allegations of political bias have persisted.

The Corner: Chris Sununu Wisely Passes on the Presidential Race
New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu decides against running for president, citing a crowded field of candidates, former President Donald Trump's lead, and the need for a candid voice. Sununu believes the party should focus on the future instead of relitigating past issues. He also thinks that the state's importance as an early state in the primary season would have a distorting effect if he ran.

To uninstall and later reinstall widgets, users need to execute a command in the terminal and use the Settings app. Breitbart Tech believes that widgets are not a crucial part of the user experience, and users should disable rather than uninstall the feature.

'Major Concession' in Ukraine Necessary to Stop Russia Becoming Closer to China: Vivek Ramaswamy
Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy is willing to make major concessions to Russia to shift focus to countering communist China instead of viewing Russia taking over Ukraine as a top foreign policy priority. Ramaswamy wants the West to recognize Russia's territorial gains and pledge to not absorb Ukraine into NATO to stop Russia from further aligning itself with the Chinese regime in exchange for Russia leaving its treaty and joint military agreement with China. Meanwhile, former President Donald Trump, the top Republican candidate, has recently underscored that he could leverage personal friendships with both Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Russian President Vladimir Putin to negotiate a peace deal in just 24 hours.

Services Sector Growth 'Leveled Off' in May, ISM Survey Finds
The growth of the U.S. services industry slowed in May as demand slowed and employment contracted. The Institute for Supply Management's purchasing manager's index fell to 50.3%, down from 51.9% in April, indicating expansion slowed and it was the lowest score since May 2020. However, the score was just above the 50% threshold meaning companies are expanding and the industry continues to stabilize. Economists predict a 65% chance of recession in the next year due to low employment and growth, but other factors show the economy continues to surprise on the upside.

The Epoch Times: The Founders and the Constitution, Part 13: The Connecticut Delegates
The Founders and the Constitution, Part 13: The Connecticut Delegates
William Samuel Johnson, Oliver Ellsworth, and Roger Sherman were the three Connecticut delegates to the 1787 Constitutional Convention. They worked together to create a system with a competent central government that was limited to specified powers, with states retaining jurisdiction on all other subjects. Their coordinated approach and moderate solutions enabled them to obtain their goals, and they contributed to the Constitution's structure of federalism. After the Convention, they actively promoted ratification of the Constitution and continued to serve in public office, with Johnson becoming president of Columbia University and Ellsworth serving as the third Chief Justice of the United States.

Tour of The Troubles: Belfast in a Black Taxi
Mark Neil of NI Black Taxi Tours gives a tour of Belfast, a city which has been in the middle of a struggle between Catholic and Protestant, Irish and English for centuries. During the Troubles, Belfast was built on a war zone, but has now become a peaceful city. The Troubles were formally resolved with the Good Friday Agreement, signed on April 10, 1998, however, tensions still remain. Neil shows tourists the "two-up, two-down" row houses that form the heart of blue-collar neighbourhoods. The black taxis were the main transportation from the city center into the hottest neighborhoods, and Neil states: "It was a very dangerous occupation. You never knew which journey would be your last one."
