Daily Wire: McCarthy’s Speakership ‘Absolutely Safe’ After Debt Ceiling Deal, GOP Rep Says
Speaker Kevin McCarthy's position is secure despite criticism from Republican Reps. Ken Buck, Chip Roy, and Ralph Norman over his debt ceiling deal with President Biden. Rep. Garret Graves, who helped negotiate the deal, said that McCarthy's position is safe and that he will continue to deliver wins for the country. Graves dismissed Buck's comments and said that they were not the mainstream position. McCarthy has also signaled that he is not worried about being removed from his position. The bill known as the "Fiscal Responsibility Act," which suspends the debt limit until January 2025 and reduces budget deficits by $1.5 trillion, was passed by both the House and the Senate and signed into law by Biden over the weekend.

The Epoch Times: Ex-Target Executive Reveals the 'One Item' That Sparked Boycott Calls
Former Target Vice Chairman Gerald Storch claimed that the store's boycotts were sparked by the sale of a "tuck swimsuit" targeting transgender people, which conservatives alleged was being marketed for children. Target officials pushed back, stating that the item was only sold for adults. The company's website also sells LGBT and pro-transgender merchandise, including "pride" clothing for infants and small children and children's books teaching them on using transgender pronouns. Target's stock has declined 11% YTD over the boycott while conservative commentators suggest that the boycott against corporations for pro-LGBT campaigns is a cultural shift, with Senator Ted Cruz noting a cumulative effect of Disney, Bud Light and Target boycotts ( ).

Flag And Cross: Watch: Chinese Warship Stalks Then Aggressively Overtakes US Destroyer
A Chinese naval vessel deliberately cut off an American guided-missile destroyer in the Taiwan Strait, escalating tensions that may end up with Americans dying due to the Biden administration’s dithering. Chinese warships were stalking the American and Canadian vessels, and one of the Chinese vessels broke off the stalking to overtake the American ship and cross directly in front of its path. The Chinese vessel cut across the Chung-Hoon’s bow from the port side, only 150 yards from the American vessel, which could mean the loss of lives on both.

OPEC+ pledged to raise oil prices with extended and increased voluntary output cuts, including Saudi Arabia's plan to reduce production by one million barrels per day from July. The decision was met with tension as Russia continues to flood the market with cheaper oil, undercutting Saudi Arabia's efforts to increase prices, and concerns arise over potential inflationary pressures for US consumers. Fox News: 'Modern-day miracle': Catholics flock to rural Missouri to witness 'incorrupt' nun
The body of a Benedictine nun, Sister Wilhelmina Lancaster, who died in May 2019, has been viewed by thousands of devoted Catholics at the Benedictines of Mary, Queen of Apostles, in Gower, Missouri. Upon exhumation, her body was discovered to be uncorrupted, an indication of sanctity to Catholics if confirmed. Lancaster's body has been on display until recently behind glass, however, she has not been declared a "saint" by the Catholic Church.
While the throngs of visitors to the abbey of the Benedictines of Mary, Queen of Apostles have brought peace and hope to the locals, the investigation into Lancaster’s condition is still ongoing and Catholics have been urged to avoid venerating her until the process is complete. The nuns have released a statement clarifying that incorruptibility is not an official consideration for sainthood and all things must be subjected to further scrutiny, especially by the competent authorities in the medical field. To be declared a saint, outside investigators must confirm multiple miraculous events surrounding the deceased when asked for intervention by living Christians, a process that is still ongoing in this case.
