Euromaidan Press: Frontline report: Russian volunteer corps’ operation spurs Russian troops buildup in Belgorod Oblast
Russian forces continue to conduct a special operation on Russian territory, drawing in more troops to the Belgorod region. The fighting in and around Tavolzhanka and Shebekino continues, causing the Belgorod People’s Republic to become a grey zone where people are abandoning their homes and regional administration and police are no longer functioning. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are taking advantage of the situation by conducting precision strikes on the concentration of Russian forces in the region.

Front Page Magazine: Talking to Ann Coulter About a Woke Military's 43% Quota for White Men
Ann Coulter and author James Simpson criticized Air Force Chief of Staff Charles Q. Brown Jr. and other affirmative action generals for promoting supposed racial discrimination within the military. Specifically, the conversation focused on Brown Jr.'s proposal of a 43% quota for white male officers in the Air Force, which was deemed as actual racism. The pair argued that the military's focus on race over merit may lead to inefficiency and threaten national survival. This, they claimed, makes the currently-corrupt woke military a national threat to the US.
The Epoch Times: Pentagon Snubbed, China's Defense Minister Meets With Australian Counterpart
Australian and Chinese defense ministers met on the sidelines of the Shangri-La Dialogue, where Australian Defense Minister Richard Marles called it an “important step” towards stabilizing their relationship. However, Marles also brought up China’s “largest conventional military build-up” since WWII, which is happening without any explanation of its strategic purpose. During the meeting, Marles highlighted that Australia's goal in investing in new defense capability, including through AUKUS, was a necessary contribution to achieving a sustainable and inclusive balance of power that could deter conflict and reassure states. The meeting occurred as China continues to refuse dialogue with the US Pentagon, which has voiced concerns over Beijing’s unwillingness to engage in serious talks, including between military leaders. The Chinese Communist Party's refusal is also felt by Australia, which experienced a similar freeze in talks when it requested independent investigations into the origins of COVID-19.
