The police will donate 150 confiscated specimens, although it is unclear whether the remainder of the bikes will come from nearby residents. Dutch politician Geert Wilders has criticised the move and suggests "insanity. I say stop asylum & close the borders." Asylum seekers around the world often struggle to establish a sense of normality or routine that facilitates their integration into and understanding of new communities.
