Five Greek Police Officers in Custody Pending Trial for Assisting Illegal Migrant Crossings
Five Greek police officers accused of facilitating the entry of 100 migrants into Greece by cooperating with human traffickers along the Greek-Turkish border are being held in custody. Internal affairs officers tracked the police in a special border guard unit from October 2022, listening to transcripts of over 2,000 phone conversations. The accused officers are also alleged to have taken cuts of money paid by traffickers to get the migrants across the border. When arrested, police found almost €26,000 ($28,000) in cash and 60 mobile phones.

16 South American Migrants Who Entered US Through Texas Flown to California
Sixteen Venezuelan and Colombian migrants were flown by chartered plane from Texas to Sacramento, where they were dropped off outside a church with only backpacks of belongings each. The migrants had already been processed by US immigration officials and given court dates for their asylum cases when “individuals representing a private contractor” offered to help them get jobs and to their final destination. The migrants had no idea where they were after being dropped off. Governor Gavin Newsom promised to ensure migrants were treated with respect and dignity, and to investigate who paid for their travel.

Townhall: The Human Side of LGBTQ Pride and the Predicament It Causes for Loving Christians
The Human Side of LGBTQ Pride and the Predicament It Causes for Loving Christians
Christians face a predicament when it comes to LGBTQ issues as two contradictory positions dwell in their minds. One states that the community should show compassion towards the individuals and build relationships with them instead of resisting their agenda. The other position says that society and religious liberties are being destroyed unless Christians speak up. However, stating that homosexual practices are sinful and rejecting the validity of same-sex marriages or someone’s gender identity is being considered as hateful. Majority in pro-LGBTQ category cannot recognize one's genuine love for them when these stances are taken.

Townhall: Montenegro Won’t Free Itself From Crime Through Crypto
Montenegro Won’t Free Itself From Crime Through Crypto
Montenegro, the smallest NATO member state, will hold parliamentary elections next month. The election is significant because whoever Montenegrins elect will either beat the criminality and reduce smuggling and money laundering, or keep its backdoor to Europe open, as it has been for over 30 years. Ex-President Milo Djukanovic is intertwined with Milokjo “Mickey” Spajic, the co-founder of political movement Europe Now!, who has promised to make Montenegro a cryptocurrency haven - a decision that would be reckless and raise eyebrows at home and abroad. It is unclear whether President Jakov Milatovic will continue to work with scandal-ridden Spajic or move him aside if his party wins power.
