The Epoch Times: IN-DEPTH: US Munitions Stockpile Too Low to Defend in War Over Taiwan
IN-DEPTH: US Munitions Stockpile Too Low to Defend in War Over Taiwan
The United States is struggling to replenish depleted stocks of critical munitions, which could leave the nation incapable of fighting a major war. In a bid to support Ukraine, the US has reportedly sent over 2 million 155mm artillery rounds, putting significant strain on the nation’s munitions production capacity, which Army Secretary Christine Wormuth says is pushed to the “absolute edge”. Although the US is making strides in building up its stores, officials suggest that even with a 500% increase in production by 2027, the nation would still only be halfway to keeping supply afloat. The House Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party has warned that the current stockpile could be insufficient to deter a Chinese invasion of Taiwan, even with US allies potentially parting with some of their own supplies.

The US Army is asking for $18bn from Congress to expand and modernize munitions production capabilities over the next 15 years. While officials have suggested they are making positive strides toward replenishing supplies, Select Committee Chair Mike Gallagher believes rebuilding the arsenal needs to be a higher priority. He is concerned that the US will not be able to arm Taiwan with the munitions it needs to deter a CCP invasion on time, and has called for greater efforts to convince the private firms responsible for making munitions to work with the DoD. Gallagher warns of the risks of a deeply divided Congress continuing to shortchange critical munitions for other forms of spending. He believes that the nation has only two years, rather than the projected 15, to rebuild its arsenal to avoid a catastrophic conflict in the Indo-Pacific.

CIA Director Took Secret Visit To China To Meet With Intelligence Officials: Reports
CIA Director William Burns visited China in May to open up communication with Chinese intel officials after a spy balloon was found over US. The purpose of his trip was not "diplomatic engagements." President Joe Biden sought a thaw in US-China relations since the incident. tensions still remain as China rejected a request from the Pentagon for a meeting between top officials from both nations. The Biden administration reportedly knew about the spy balloon, but kept quiet to prevent disruption of then-Secretary of State Blinken’s trip to China. Burns also faced criticism for scheduling meetings with Jeffrey Epstein in 2014 when he was deputy secretary of state.

Block printing blocks are usually made of hard woods but can also consist of linoleum or rubber. Prints can range from small images, intended to be repeated in a pattern, to large artworks that require a printing press. A Vermont school district settled with a family for $125,000 after punishing Blake Allen, then 14, for speaking out against a biological male student using the girls' locker room at Randolph Union High School. Blake was suspended for referring to the trans student as "literally a dude" and "not belong[ing] in the girls' locker room." Her father, Travis Allen, lost his coaching position for misgendering the same student in a Facebook post. American Thinker: Pig-Pen Nation: The greenie left declares war on washing clothes
Pig-Pen Nation: The greenie left declares war on washing clothes
The greenie left have shifted their focus to a new obsession: a war on laundry. Some believe in washing their clothes less or not at all. Sky high electricity rates caused by green energy mandates have already made washing clothes more costly. Men and women are to be manipulated differently into embracing this movement, with women being targeted with the save-the-environment argument. This latest obsession from the left is just the latest in the growing list of 'gross' coming from them.
