American Thinker: No 'End of History' for Imperial Russia
The End of History and the Last Man declared Western liberalism as the final form of government, ending the era of ideological confrontations. However, Fukuyama failed to account for revanchism, the desire for revenge after defeat. The collapse of the USSR did not end the Cold War, as the Russian Federation seeks to restore Soviet imperialism in Ukraine and the Middle East. Their imperial ambitions lead to self-deception and a move towards world wars, dreaming of a Soviet "bright past" and moving the world backwards.

Recipients are required to develop fields of study focused on gender issues and climate change adaptation and mitigation. American Thinker: The Only Way to Defeat a Marine?
Founder of Gunsite and author Jeff Cooper compared soldiers of dictatorships to orcs, communist-controlled East Germany to Mordor, and violent criminals to goblins in his writings. Armed self-defense courses taught by law enforcement professionals convey the message that one can legally kill or seriously injure a goblin who puts them in reasonable fear for their life. The recent attack by alleged goblins on three U.S. Marines underscores the concept of using reasonable and necessary force to defend oneself against a violent felony. Hate crimes against members of the Armed Forces are federal crimes and the attackers could face charges that include assault with a deadly weapon and/or assault and battery. It is easy to become a goblin when going along with an irresponsible group and incidents like these underscore the importance of avoiding such behavior.

American Thinker: Neuralink Chips to Thwart Lying Politicians
Neuralink, a technology developed by Elon Musk, aims to create implantable brain-computer interfaces to restore autonomy to those with unmet medical needs. One implementation envisions patients telepathically controlling a cursor on a keyboard to type, while another could make human language obsolete in five to ten years and improve communication while arousing curiosity among neuro-ethicists. It could also be used for purpose-driven chips of today — memory, A.I., graphics GPUs, storage, speech and streamlined verbalization .
Washington Free Beacon: Read This Book and Find Out Which Celebrity Side Boob You Are
Traffic: Genius, Rivalry, and Delusion in the Billion-Dollar Race to Go Viral by Ben Smith is a history of the rise and fall of bloggers Jonah Peretti and Nick Denton, who both excelled in giving people what they really want. It takes place in a distant reality, full of characters and viral moments that felt consequential at the time but are likely forgotten due to the internet's corrosive effects on attention spans. The book documents how Peretti's internet innovations helped shape our digital age, exploring the whiz-bang rise and whimpering fall of two Manhattan-based bloggers in the early 21st century social media boom.

American Thinker: Trump's Abraham Accords proceed into cyberspace
The Abraham Accords were agreements brokered by the Trump administration to normalize diplomatic relations between Israel, UAE, and Bahrain. The accords aimed to establish formal diplomatic ties, exchange ambassadors, and foster cooperation in various fields, including trade, security, and technology. The recently proposed Abraham Accords Cybersecurity Cooperation Act of 2023 seeks to enhance cybersecurity partnerships between the US and the Accord countries against shared threats from Iran and other hostile cyber-actors. However, ongoing cyber-attacks from Indonesia and Sudan against Israel complicate the Accord's progress and the future of diplomacy.
American Thinker: Will Wokeness Be Our Demise?
"Woke" is a virus that subverts the ability to function and engage with reality, according to Jack Posobiec at CPAC in Budapest. People with the virus blame various factors for their woes and impose rules for language use. The virus is contagious, spread by media propaganda and various institutions. Wokeness is a foundation from which all other lessons are built, leading to increased mental illness and division in the country. This ideology permeates the current administration's policies, with open borders and the "Inflation Reduction Act" among them.
