The settlement requires the Vermont School Boards Insurance Trust to pay $125,000 in damages and attorneys' fees to the Allen family and requires the board to remove any content posted online by the school related to the locker room incident.

The Imaginative Conservative: Old and New
Classical schools honor the old. A major shift towards classical academies in education is underway, as public secondary schools are burdened with top-down expectations and trends of the moment dominate the classroom experience. Constant educational innovation is an ongoing injury to the body politic, recognizing the need to honor and study the classics for their ancient and meaningful insights. Preparatory education in high school should lead directly to enrollment in transformative institutions that deepen the desire for learning and foster trust in the good through old ways as fresh as the morning.
