Breitbart: Barbara Lee: Debt Bill Talks 'Lose-Lose' for Biden, I Couldn't Vote for Making People Pay Loans, Decrease Spending by a Billion
Rep. Barbara Lee voted against a bill that would raise the debt limit because it would negatively affect discretionary domestic spending, work requirements and the end to student loan payment pause. She also stated that negotiations over an agreement were "lose-lose" for President Joe Biden, with Republicans wanting to go into default. Lee represented her constituents by voting against the bill despite knowing it would pass and preventing the US from going into default.
The Federalist Papers: Newly Released Jan. 6 Footage Exposes What Pelosi Did While Leaving the Capitol
Newly released surveillance footage shows Nancy Pelosi's daughter filming the Speaker's evacuation from the Capitol during the Jan. 6, 2021, riot. The footage was later used in an HBO documentary called "Pelosi in the House". Chief of U.S. Capitol Police Steven Sund and Kash Patel, the chief of staff to then-acting Defense Secretary Christopher Miller on Jan. 6, criticized the filming as a distraction for Pelosi's security detail and an inappropriate "Hollywoodization and politicization of the national security apparatus and politics," respectively.

American Thinker: The Streisand effect and Matt Walsh’s ‘What Is A Woman?’
Leftists attempted to boycott and censor Matt Walsh's documentary, "What Is A Woman?" which explores the question of gender identity. However, the attempt, which took place last June, proved unsuccessful and resulted in a surge of curiosity from the public. Recent complications with Twitter, which initially deemed the documentary as "hateful conduct" for its misgendering content, have resulted in a positive outcome for the movie, with Elon Musk even endorsing the film and dubbing it essential viewing for all parents.
The Epoch Times: Tennessee Bill Banning Drag Shows in Front of Children Unconstitutional: Federal Judge
A federal judge has ruled that a law in Tennessee prohibiting drag shows in front of children is unconstitutional. The Adult Entertainment Act, which makes it a criminal offense for a person to perform adult cabaret entertainment on public property or where it could be viewed by a minor, was blocked before taking effect by U.S. District Judge Thomas Parker after initially being signed by Republican Governor Bill Lee. Parker said the law violated the constitutional rights of nonprofit Friends of George's, which puts on drag shows in Memphis and allows children to attend, while labelling the standard for "harmful to minors" "patently offensive."

The Epoch Times: ‘Keep Ideals Alive’: Washington Vigil Pays Tribute to Chinese Students Killed in Tiananmen Square Massacre
Chinese survivors of the Tiananmen Square massacre and their supporters gathered for a candlelight vigil at the Victim of Communism Memorial in Washington to commemorate the 1989 movement and protest, which turned violent and resulted in the deaths of hundreds of students. James Wang, an alias he uses for his safety, was a survivor of the massacre and student democracy movement. He doesn’t think the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) will ever bring democracy to China, but still hopes for it. "The CCP is bad, and the students are the good people," he told The Epoch Times. “How is it possible for bad people to restore the reputation of good people?”
Frank Wolf, commissioner of the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom and former Virginia congressman, called on the Biden administration and Congress to ban lobbying on behalf of the Chinese Communist Party in America. Remembering the Tiananmen Square massacre is significant, as China’s repression of its people began with the crackdown in Tiananmen, said Wolf. Yang Jianli, president of Citizen Power Initiatives for China, saw the spirit of the 1989 student democracy movement continue in the white paper movement in late 2022. Over 19 cities, including Beijing and Shanghai, saw breakouts of demonstrations to honor the dead and to express discontent. "Just as the students in Tiananmen Square did decades ago, today's young activists are demanding transparency, accountability, and political freedoms," said Yang.
Breitbart: Hong Kong: Four Arrested for 'Seditious' Acts on Tiananmen Anniversary
Hong Kong police arrest people for "seditious" acts and "disorderly conduct" on the eve of the anniversary of the Tiananmen Square crackdown. The crackdown, which occurred on June 4, 1989, remains a sensitive topic for China's communist leadership. Hong Kong's annual vigil has been banned since the imposition of a national security law on the city in 2020. Police arrested four people "for disorderly conduct in a public place" and "doing acts with seditious intent," and detained four others suspected of breaching the peace. The police did not name those arrested or detained.

The Epoch Times: Big Tobacco Faces Big EU Counterfeit Problem
Spanish police raided three illegal tobacco factories, seizing $44 million worth of tobacco leaf and illicit cigarettes. Ten Ukrainian workers, including war refugees, were found working in one of the factories, where they were not allowed to leave and worked without contracts or adequate pay. According to European authorities, crime groups are setting up production facilities in western Europe to be closer to higher-priced markets due to supply chain disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and the conflict in Ukraine. The trend has caused seizures of illicit tobacco to reach record levels, with a total of 531 million illegal cigarettes seized across the EU in 2020, a rise of 43 percent from 2019.

PJ Media: WATCH: Trans-Identified Male Activist Injures ANOTHER Female Soccer Player
Transgender soccer player, Riley Dennis, reportedly injured a female player during a game in New South Wales, Australia. This isn't the first time, as Dennis had previously been accused of injuring female players at a match in March, and a transgender volleyball player threw a ball at a North Carolina volleyball player, causing severe injuries including a concussion and neck injury, as wells as leaving the female athlete with ongoing neurological issues. The lunatic Social Justice™ online cult argues that women's sports shouldn't exist if they won't accommodate testosterone-filled men with advantageous grip strength and hip structures.

Breitbart: Nolte: Left-Wing BuzzFeed Stock Hits 69 Cents; NASDAQ Threatens Removal
Far-left BuzzFeed’s stock has plummeted to 69 cents and could be removed from the NASDAQ stock market by November if it stays below $1. The news site faces significant losses of $106.2m and $36.3m in the fourth and first quarters respectively. Additionally, in April, BuzzFeed closed down its entire news division. There are other problems for traditional media too; CNNLOL’s primetime viewership has fallen below 500,000, the Washington Post is now in “serious financial trouble,” and Fox News is paying for its betrayal of an audience it has taken for granted by losing followers.
Human Events: Ireland moves to slaughter 200,000 cows over climate concerns
The Irish government is considering a plan to "cull" 200,000 cows to meet climate goals and the EU's net-zero requirements. The reduction would cost taxpayers €600,000 over three years. Ireland has around 2.5 million beef and dairy cows, which account for two-thirds of its agricultural products, and the entire agriculture sector accounts for 38% of the country's greenhouse gas emissions. This comes after Dutch farmers were threatened with compulsory purchase for the same reason. The EU has set a target to become the first continent to achieve net-zero greenhouse gases by 2050.
