The Epoch Times: Trump Lauds SCOTUS, Makes Off-Script Call for Education Reform
Former President Donald Trump praised the U.S. Supreme Court for decisions on education and religious rights at a conservative conference. He expressed his desire to return education control to the states, which received applause. Trump outlined several education-related promises he would implement if reelected in 2024, including eliminating diversity programs and pursuing civil rights claims against discriminatory institutions. He also criticized President Biden, calling him corrupt and incompetent, and urged attendees to support him in the next election.
Townhall: Real Legal Scandal: Billionaire-Backed Climate Activists Infiltrate the Courts
The left-wing activist group ProPublica broke a story about Supreme Court Associate Justice Samuel Alito going on a fishing trip with a hedge fund manager. This story is being used to attack the Supreme Court’s public legitimacy, while ignoring similar networks of spending and influence on the judiciary's left. The Environmental Law Institute (ELI) and the Climate Judiciary Project are examples of wealthy donors quietly funding activist groups, law firms, and news outlets to push leftist climate policies through the courts.

Townhall: International Investors Are Increasingly Pulling Out of Germany
Berliners voted in favor of property expropriation, seeking to municipalize rental units owned by large housing companies. However, this decision could have disastrous effects and deter real estate investors, leading to a decline in foreign investment in Germany. Nationalization of housing companies would recreate the conditions of East Germany and worsen the housing shortage.

Breitbart: Report: China Using American PR Firms to Spread Communist Propaganda
China's Communist Party is using Western PR firms to spread propaganda and influence media coverage in the free world. These firms are paid hefty fees to place op-eds and articles in major newspapers, bring American journalists to China for training, and shape the narrative in U.S. media and school textbooks. China's use of PR firms extends beyond the United States, as it peddles its agenda in other countries as well. Concerns about China's influence over global media have been growing, but countering this threat is a challenge due to the extensive resources China dedicates to its propaganda efforts.

Townhall: Can Military Recruiting be Fixed?
: Military recruiters in Dulles, Virginia are facing a dire situation with recruiting young Americans. The Army, Air Force, and Navy are all falling short of their recruiting goals. The decline in trust and confidence in the armed forces, along with overly politicized military leadership, is contributing to this problem. Recruiters are offering generous incentives, but the root of the issue lies in the need for a larger pool of qualified and interested young Americans. It will take significant efforts and a national imperative to reverse this trend and ensure a strong military for the future.

The United States Postal Service issued its first-ever postage stamps in 1847, featuring Benjamin Franklin and George Washington. Before stamps, mail was paid for in person or upon receipt. The concept of pre-paying for postage was introduced by British inventor Sir Rowland Hill in 1840.

Townhall: Harvard Gets An F
Harvard and other universities are facing the consequences of reverse discrimination, as affirmative action programs are deemed unconstitutional. While the intention behind affirmative action is noble, it ultimately harms both the person who loses out on a legitimate position and the person who is thrust into a college or job they are not fully prepared for. Instead of accepting undeserving candidates, resources should be invested in K-12 education and family support. Building solid Black homes and offering better educational opportunities will be more effective in preparing students for success than affirmative action.
