In contrast, the media treated every trashy tale in the negative Trump tell-all books as golden. However, many of the claims made by these authors were later disputed or denied, including those made by Michael Wolff, Omarosa, and Bob Woodward.
Forbes: FBI And Homeland Security Dismissed Threats In Lead-Up To January 6, Senate Report Finds
Senate Homeland Security Committee Democrats issued a report alleging federal law enforcement agencies, including the FBI and Department of Homeland Security, "failed to adequately prepare" for the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, despite receiving multiple tips and warnings about threats of violence ahead of the event. The report accuses the FBI of failing to fully consider the totality of threats and violent rhetoric and for focusing more on clashes between protesters and counter-protesters. The report also accuses the federal agencies, including the Department of Justice and the Department of Defense, of failing to coordinate and designate January 6 as a "National Special Security Event" that would have bolstered security and the government response.

While AI assists pastors in creating content, it does not substitute the authority of a preacher who writes sermons. By freeing up more time for church staff and volunteers, Pulpit AI hopes to allow more time to spend with the congregation and create more formational content for people, which can be consumed digitally by churchgoers, transforming their digital diet.

Deadly, record-breaking heat has enveloped the south-central United States this month, and AccuWeather forecasters say several more days of scorching conditions are in the forecast before some relief potentially arrives by the weekend. Late last week, the heat claimed two victims in Big Bend National Park, located in the western portion of Texas, near the border with Mexico. Temperatures at the time were near 119 F in the area, according to the NPS. The all-time high-temperature record in Texas of 120 F has been in place since Aug. 12, 1936. Elsewhere across the state, cities like Austin and San Antonio eclipsed the triple-digit mark for the first time this year back on June 16 and have since recorded several additional days in excess of 100 F.

Severe weather in the southern and eastern US states has left more than 175,000 people without power. Tornadoes damaged homes and infrastructure in Arkansas and Indiana, and the storms caused the deaths of at least four people. Thousands of flights were cancelled and delayed, with American Airlines, Delta Air Lines and JetBlue Airways among the companies affected.

These actions by China could pose a significant national security threat to America. China's training base in Cuba could serve to train security forces for left-wing governments in Latin America and to train insurgents to overthrow some of the remaining seven US-aligned governments in the region. There is also a possibility that China might seek to turn Cuba into a deadly dagger pointed at America.
