American Thinker: Time for an Abortion Reality Check
The abortion debate rages on with the Left demanding abortion on demand at any point in gestation. The Pro-Life position is inherently religious and has become a political issue. Republican candidates for the nomination for President in 2024 are challenging each other to commit to some form of federal abortion restriction, but any federal law banning abortion is doomed to be overturned under Dobbs. It would be better for Republicans to stop advocating for federal laws banning abortion altogether and seek alternative solutions like defining "the people" to include the unborn in Constitutional interpretation. This would mean that unborn babies would acquire the right to life and federal protection. It's a long shot but the only shot that exists.
Washington Free Beacon: 'No!': Biden Claims Ignorance of Hunter's Foreign Business Dealings In Face of Mounting Evidence to the Contrary
President Biden denies knowledge of his son Hunter's foreign business dealings, despite mounting evidence to the contrary. Texts obtained from an electronic search warrant implicate the president in his son’s Chinese energy dealings, as Hunter Biden invoked his father’s name in a threatening text message to a Chinese business partner. The texts suggest the president was intimately aware of his son’s foreign business dealings, specifically the deal with CEFC China. At least two of Hunter Biden’s business partners involved in the deal have come forward claiming the president was directly involved in business negotiations with CEFC Energy. The White House did not return a request for comment.
Washington Free Beacon: The Media Have Always Carried Water for Hunter Biden. Don't Expect It to Stop Now.
Hunter Biden's business dealings with a Chinese energy company have come to light through text messages that implicate President Joe Biden in the transactions. The press has been accused of giving Hunter Biden a pass in the past, including when allegations surfaced involving him and Ukrainian energy company Burisma Holdings. However, recent coverage of the scandal has framed it as trivial and youthful mischief rather than a serious matter. Despite this, Republicans are continuing to investigate Hunter Biden's business dealings and the subject continues to generate attention.
Flag And Cross: 'Every Single Relation In My Family… Is Transactional,' Says Donald Trump's Niece
Mary Trump suggests that every relationship in the Trump family, including Ivanka Trump's, is "transactional" and that the likes of Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump have no other options for work. She believes that Ivanka Trump is not getting as much out of it as she is putting into her relationship with her father and that she has chosen to prioritize her young children and her private family life over politics. Mary Trump has been highly critical of the Trump family and has called her grandfather a "high-functioning sociopath" who shaped Donald Trump's childhood.
Front Page Magazine: How Low Can Kamala Go?
VP Harris receives a record low net negative rating of -17 on a new NBC News survey, with 49% of respondents having a negative view of her. It seems like there's only one way she'll inherit Biden's job and it's not through a free and fair election.

The FSB said their investigation concluded after finding that the insurrectionists had ceased activities directed at committing the crime. American Thinker: Six Reasons Price Transparency Won't Fix Healthcare
Price transparency is being proposed to bring down the high cost of healthcare in the US, however, there are six reasons why it won't work. Healthcare is a distorted market, with third parties deciding how much to expend, how much will be paid and even if there will be payment. The primary purpose of any healthcare system is to provide timely medical care – when it is needed, not when it is convenient or financially optimal.

Forbes: Inside The Summer Transfer Strategy That Helped Keep Nottingham Forest In The Premier League
Nottingham Forest, newly-promoted to the Premier League, concentrated 40% of their salary budget on the top five players in the team, spending 70% of the total salary budget on the top eleven players to avoid relegation. George Syrianos, the former head of recruitment for Forest, believes that clubs with smaller salary budgets should concentrate salaries to have a strong and dependable core. Syrianos suggests that clubs should target players who are regular starters for teams ranked better than them.
To manage risk effectively, it is vital that the recruitment team works closely with the head coach and that they choose players who fit their style of play. They should also consider the tactical needs of a player's position. Forest managed to stay in the Premier League by alleviating biases in recruitment decisions and keeping everybody aligned with the team's goals.

Forbes: AI Regulation Is Coming To The U.S., Albeit Slowly
A bipartisan group of legislators introduced the "National AI Commission Act" which aims to create a commission focused on regulating artificial intelligence. The commission would be a bipartisan group of legislators and members of industry and civil society and would be tasked with reviewing the United States' current approach to AI regulation, making recommendations for any new governmental structures, and developing a risk-based framework for AI. The commission would balance mitigating the risks of AI with protecting the United States' leadership in AI innovation, and would determine whether a standalone AI regulatory agency is needed or if regulation is best left to existing agencies.
The proposed commission's bipartisan makeup increases the probability of recommendations being enacted, but the proposal's length of time to conduct its work might be too slow. Slow regulatory action by the federal government might lead to different and potentially incompatible AI regulations being passed at state and local levels, potentially hampering the industry's growth. A slower approach to federal AI regulation would allow the US to observe and learn from the EU and state and local governments, but the risk of accumulated AI harms and international constraints might outweigh the benefits of a measured approach.

American Thinker: How Can the Dems Get Rid of Joe?
Trust in the government continues to decline with only 20% of Americans trusting the government to do what is right. Biden's fundraising is also lackluster, causing concern among Democrats, as they may not have enough money for the next election. Democrat panic is setting in as they face donor pessimism, economic collapse, and declining poll numbers. The Dems are considering tenderizing Biden for a few months before convincing him to bow out of the 2024 race for the good of the party, but fundamentally misjudging Biden's character.
