Fox News: Issa slams White House for shift in messaging on whether Biden knew of Hunter's business dealings
Darrell Issa, a Republican representative, accused President Biden of lying about his involvement in his son's business dealings and criticized the White House Counsel's office for shielding the POTUS from questions regarding Hunter Biden's business. Issa highlighted the shift in the White House's messaging after the House Ways and Means Committee released the testimony of two IRS whistleblowers alleging politics' interference in Hunter Biden's probe. While the White House press secretary, Karine Jean-Pierre, referred questions on the matter to the White House Counsel's office, Issa claimed that the President lied and pointed out the recent reporting on emails, alleged conversations, and messages, indicating Biden's involvement in Hunter's business ventures.
Issa also stated that the White House Counsel's office's non-responsiveness was obstructing the examination. He labeled it a lie that the President did not have business conversations with Hunter Biden and criticized the White House Counsel's office for providing a shield. The statement came after an IRS whistleblower shared a WhatsApp message, allegedly sent by Hunter Biden to a Chinese business associate in 2017, assuring him that he and his father would ensure an unfulfilled commitment. The House Ways and Means Committee released that testimony after Hunter Biden agreed to plead guilty to two misdemeanor counts of willful failure to pay federal income tax and a separate charge of possessing a firearm.
PJ Media: RFK Jr. Pledges to Federally Deschedule Cannabis
RFK Jr. pledges to decriminalize cannabis at the federal level, stating that current contradictory state and federal laws are absurd and states should be able to decide for themselves. The drug war is criticized for being a failure and restricting adults' freedom of choice. Trump's 2018 Farm Bill legalized THC-free cannabis products, paving the way for the expansion of the CBD industry. Depriving Americans of the opportunity to avail themselves of CBD is sadistic. States should have the right to write their own policies governing drug commerce.
Breitbart: Watch Live: Donald Trump Speaks at New Hampshire Federation of Republican Women Luncheon
Former President Donald Trump will speak at the New Hampshire Federation of Republican Women's Lilac Luncheon on June 26, whilst rival Ron DeSantis has scheduled a town hall meeting at the same time, drawing criticism from the NHFRW.
The Blaze: 'F*** them': Bill Maher denounces the liberal media for routinely attacking RFK Jr., whom 80% of Democratic voters want to see debate Biden
Bill Maher criticized the liberal media for its ongoing attempts to discredit Robert F. Kennedy Jr., whom President Joe Biden refuses to debate. He took issue with a New York Times article and its presentation of "misinformation" as fact. Maher argued that Kennedy's views are relatively complex and would be better explained in a debate with Biden. However, Biden's allies are not keen on exposing him to unscripted conversation and greater scrutiny, with some Democrats arguing against the free exchange of ideas on the national stage.
The Federalist: SCOTUS Ruling Limits State Court Interference With Election Laws
The Supreme Court ruled that state courts can't take control of election laws from state legislatures, but it also didn't entirely stop activists from using the courts to override legislatures’ decisions on election law. The decision limited state court authority but didn't defend legislators' right to control election law as protected from court review. The ruling arose from a North Carolina redistricting case, written by Chief Justice John Roberts, in which Justices Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito, and Neil Gorsuch dissented.
Spectator USA: The media isn’t checking Hunter Biden’s white privilege
Despite a media focus on portraying the American justice system as institutionally racist and efforts to minimize criminal offenses by African Americans, a plea deal for Hunter Biden on charges of income tax evasion and lying on a federal firearm background check has gone relatively ignored. Biden will serve no jail time for the offenses despite his deal with his own father’s Department of Justice. The media and Democratic Party, who have been pushing for racial equality and equity, have not addressed the clear-cut example of white privilege demonstrated in this case.
Breitbart: From Cybersecurity to Censorship: Weaponization Committee Exposes CISA
A report from the Judiciary Committee reveals that the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) used its mission to combat cybersecurity threats as a pretext for censoring Americans. CISA collaborated with the Election Integrity Partnership (EIP), targeting top Republican influencers and news outlets on social media for censorship. It continued its efforts after Joe Biden’s inauguration, forming a “Misinformation and Disinformation subcommittee.” Local officials used CISA and social media to censor political opponents. CISA's "Misinformation and Disinformation” efforts were met with disdain from Silicon Valley.
Breitbart: Peter Schweizer: Investigations Detonate Two Bombs Under Joe Biden
Hunter Biden's China-connected business paid for a secret AT&T cell phone for his father, Joe Biden, while he was Vice President under Barack Obama. The phone, which was used by Joe Biden to make calls on a back channel, according to Peter Schweizer of the Government Accountability Institute, may be subpoenaed by congressional committees investigating the Biden family's overseas business dealings. The phone records will indicate who Joe Biden was talking to on that private line. In addition, a redacted transcript of IRS whistleblower Gary Shapley's testimony confirms that "the big guy" referenced in Hunter Biden's business emails as being entitled to a share of profits is indeed now-President Joe Biden. These two revelations may imperil the Biden presidency, says Schweizer.
Red State: Reuters Publishes Slavery Reparations Shaming Piece Disguised as Investigative Journalism
Investigative reporter Sharyl Attkisson exposes biased newsrooms where left-leaning stories get preference. Reuters recently published a shaming piece of investigative reporting that uncovered the slave-owning ancestors of America's political class. The story is framed to create a call for reparations .
Washington Free Beacon: Poll: Tim Scott on the Rise as Second-Choice Candidate in GOP Field
Republican voters are increasingly considering Tim Scott as their second choice in the 2024 primary, according to an NBC News poll. Scott has overtaken Nikki Haley and Mike Pence in this category, with 12% of Republican voters favoring him as their second choice, while he received only 3% of the first-choice vote. However, Florida governor Ron DeSantis still holds 31% of the second-place vote and has the highest favorability among current candidates. Trump's first-choice poll numbers have also increased to 51% since his indictment this month.
Newsbusters: Psaki Sneers: 'I Don't Spend Much Time On Right-Wing Websites'
Jen Psaki admits she doesn't spend much time on right-wing websites and belittles them, displaying her liberal cocoon. Liberals have a comfortable environment where their views are reinforced across all media: newspapers, TV, movies, study programs, and even beer ads. Whereas conservatives cannot escape the left-wing propaganda constantly bombarding them. People who get their information from right-wing websites or channels don't always hear about Donald Trump's legal challenges.
Psaki defends Hunter Biden's attendance at Biden's state dinner, attributing it to a "family circumstance" where the president wanted his son to show up and the latter wanting to be present. Psaki says that Biden's camp will wait before commenting on Trump's legal woes but will ultimately draw a value and morals contrast between the two presidents. Until then, comments will be reserved.
American Thinker: The irrelevancy of the CNN tape of Trump implying a document is classified
The Justice Department leaked an audio tape in which Trump is recorded saying that he has a “highly confidential” document that he then allegedly shows someone. Leftists and others who dislike Trump are delighted with the news, but the implication that Trump had super-secret classified documents is just wrong. The tape is a classic case of what Trump has always done: It’s puffery. The real scandal isn’t Trump’s puffery. It’s the DOJ’s conduct, which taints any future jury pool.
Fox News: Trump reacts after leaked recording shows him discussing classified docs
Former President Trump denies any wrongdoing in response to a leaked recording of him discussing classified documents after his presidency. Trump argues that the recording is a hoax, and that he did nothing wrong. He faces 37 felony charges for the alleged improper retention of classified records and obstruction of federal efforts to recover these documents. The recording obtained by CNN appears to show Trump discussing classified materials at his golf club in New Jersey in July 2021. The former president is heard discussing top-secret U.S. military attack plans on Iran and claiming that the plan came from Pentagon officials.
Breitbart: Whistleblower No. 2: Hunter Biden Evaded Taxes Through Complex Tax Scheme
Hunter Biden allegedly evaded paying millions in taxes through a tax scheme involving a Ukrainian natural gas company he sat on the board of and a Chinese business associate, according to a second whistleblower whose testimony was released last week. The whistleblower claimed that Biden had already owed hundreds of thousands of dollars in taxes before his father became vice president. The Justice Department believed Biden’s defense that the money was a loan, with the whistleblower stating, “You can’t loan yourself your own money. It just doesn’t make any sense.”
Fox News: New California budget plan to cover state’s $32 billion deficit without touching state reserves
California Gov. Gavin Newsom and Democrats in the state Legislature have agreed on a $310.8 billion plan for the next year to address a budget deficit of almost $32 billion without using the state's savings account. The budget includes $8 billion in spending cuts, delays in other expenses, shifting some costs to other funds, borrowing $6.1 billion, and setting aside a record $37.8 billion in reserves. California's revenues slowed due to inflation and the stock market's struggles, and the state's dependence on taxes from the wealthy made it more vulnerable to economic changes than other states.
The budget plan also includes a new tax on managed care organizations, which would generate an estimated $32 billion over the next four years, and would offer $150 million in loans to hospitals at risk of failing. The lifeline for public transit agencies in the budget aims to address the decline in public transport ridership during the coronavirus pandemic. The budget, covering the deficit while preserving investments in public education, health care, climate, and public safety, is set to be voted on this week. Republican lawmakers criticized the budget as unsustainable and called out the scheduled increase in the state's gas tax, which is tied to inflation.
Daily Wire: Rubio Says Multiple UFO Whistleblowers From Government Have Come Forward
Whistleblower David Grusch is not the only government official to make claims about UFOs; others have come forward in recent years, according to Senator Marco Rubio. Rubio, who is Vice Chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, said Congress is actively gathering information on the subject. Some of the officials who have made disclosures fear retaliation.
Rubio is withholding judgement on these disclosures, stating that some claims are beyond what lawmakers have ever dealt with before. Some lawmakers are now calling for hearings on the subject, as the US government appears to have downplayed the number of UFO sightings. The Department of Defense has said that its Anomaly Resolution Office has not found any verifiable information to substantiate claims that any programs regarding the possession or reverse-engineering of extraterrestrial materials exist or have existed.

Newsbusters: CBS Hypes Book About 'Whitelash' To Obama, Progressivism
Author Wesley Lowery appeared on CBS Mornings to promote his book, which claims that there has been pushback to racial progress in America. Lowery primarily addressed how white people's fear of change has led to violence and consequences for minorities. Lowery also criticized the political appeals for a return to the "good old days" and claimed that institutions need to be bolder in calling out racism, while ignoring examples of racial progress like the election of a black president and black Republican presidential candidate.
National Review: The Corner: Does Everyone Agree That Affirmative Action Has to Go?
The Supreme Court should strike down affirmative action as it violates federal law, specifically the Civil Rights Act of 1964. The Court's role is to uphold the law as written, and federal law clearly prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color or national origin for institutions receiving federal financial assistance. Even if one believes the Constitution is "evolving", Americans overwhelmingly agree that affirmative action should be abolished .
The Blaze: Glenn calls trans activist chant 'the worst strategy of all time'
Trans activists chanted “We're here; we’re queer; we’re coming for your children” during a Pride celebration in New York. Glenn and Stu believe that the activists don’t actually mean to take children but are using the crass statement to push back against right-wingers who accuse them of doing so. Glenn criticizes this strategy as the worst of all time. The trans agenda, he says, is making the LGBQ community look crazy and dangerous.
Forbes: Author Post: The Success Paradox Lifestyle
Success is not about what we achieve, but about knowing who we are and creating the feelings we desire, like happiness, peace and gratitude. The three core principles of the Success Paradox Lifestyle are being authentic, doing good and doing well, with accompanying emotions, activators and practices. Being authentic means being grateful, activating humility and practicing daily self-examination. Doing good means having compassion for others, activating grief and practicing servant leadership. Doing well means being generous, activating generosity and practicing full profit economics. When we prioritize being authentic, the other two principles follow naturally.
Fox News: Underground movement detected at South African mine a month after a gas explosion shuttered the site

The authorities fear that more deaths may occur if a search operation is launched due to the high methane gas levels in the mine. The illegal mining industry is rife in South Africa and carries high risks, leading to fatal incidents.

Breitbart: Wagner Warlord Prigozhin Has Arrived in Belarus, Announces Lukashenko
Yevgeny Prigozhin, owner of Wagner Group and a private army that fought in Russia's invasion of Ukraine, has fled to Belarus after his failed rebellion against the Kremlin. Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said that the exile of Prigozhin was part of the deal that ended the mutiny in Russia, and he and his soldiers would be welcome to stay "for some time" at their own expense. The Russian Defense Ministry said preparations were underway for Wagner to hand over its heavy weapons to the Russian military. Prigozhin had said his troops were preparing to turn over their weapons ahead of a July 1 deadline for them to serve under the Russian military's command.
Foreign Policy: Putin’s Strongman Image Suddenly Unravels for Russians
Russian President Putin's image of a strong, manipulating leader collapses when Wagner's insurrectionists approach Moscow, and his depleted forces prepare defenses while meeting minimal resistance. Putin ends up reversing his promise of swift and decisive retribution against Wagner chief Yevgeny Prigozhin, the group's renegade leader, and lets the insurrectionists retreat without retribution. Putin's trademark indecision in the face of crisis suddenly turned out to be his tragic flaw, exposing himself as wobbly and weak, further enraging Russia's far-right pro-war opposition and diminishing many Russians' anxieties over Putin's loss of control.

Fox News: Reporters grill White House on Biden's economic record: 'Is it enough?'
Reporters grilled White House officials on President Biden's economic record amidst public skepticism, with Principal Deputy Press Secretary Olivia Dalton defending the economy, citing historic lows in unemployment and 11 straight months of inflation decline. ( )
The scrutiny comes after White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was questioned the day before on her claim that Americans are feeling better about their personal finances under President Biden, with Twitter users pushing back against the claim citing inflation and economic struggles. ( )

Red State: Wealth, Wealth Taxes, and Wealth Mobility
Wealthy individuals are leaving Norway due to the country's wealth tax, causing the government to lose an estimated $594 million in revenue. The exodus is a trend seen globally, with politicians still seeking to implement wealth taxes, even though they are illegal in the US without a constitutional amendment. The middle class continues to bear the burden of taxation, with few options for wealth mobility.

Breitbart: Nolte: Woke Reich Adds Trigger Warnings to Ernest Hemingway Novels
Penguin Random House is adding condescending trigger warnings to Ernest Hemingway's books. The publisher states that they don't endorse "cultural representations" or the language contained in the books. Critics argue that adding warnings to classic novels is censorship and takes away from the reader's enjoyment of the work. The publishing industry should be standing tallest against censorship but instead is promoting it.
Daily Wire: ‘Is This Your Mom?’: Pink Concert Goes Sideways When Fan Throws Mother’s Ashes Onstage
A fan disrupted Pink's concert in London by throwing a bag full of cremated remains onto the stage, which she held up for a closer look before setting it down. The woman who threw the ashes had done so because her mother had not been able to travel much when she was alive, and now her daughter wants to take her to places she might have enjoyed.

Fox News: Idaho dad accused of massacring neighbors after indecent exposure to daughters will not face death row
Idaho prosecutors won't seek the death penalty against Majorjon Kaylor, a 31-year-old father charged with four counts of first-degree murder and felony burglary for gunning down his neighbors' family on Father's Day. Police say it happened after an escalating argument, when a teen in the household allegedly exposed himself to Kaylor's daughters. Kaylor allegedly "lost it" over allegations the 18-year-old was "acting suspicious, watching his kids, and conducting acts of nudity in front of his children."
Kaylor allegedly gunned down his newly moved-in neighbors – a family of three – and the 18-year-old suspect who was found dead with gunshot wounds to the head. The father faces up to life in prison. Prosecutors reserve the right to seek any other sentence allowable under Idaho law other than death, document says. Kaylor allegedly told detectives he "snapped" after feeling the family was not taking the situation about the alleged indecent exposure seriously. A GoFundMe campaign has been set up for the victims' funeral expenses.
