Washington Free Beacon: 'Obscures More Than It Illuminates': Lawmakers Slam Biden's COVID Origins Report
Republican lawmakers are criticizing the Biden administration's report on the origins of COVID-19, saying it violates the 2023 law requiring the administration to declassify information on the virus's genesis. The report on China’s Wuhan Institute of Virology and its potential links to the COVID pandemic's origin was released days after the June 18 deadline set by Congress under the COVID-19 Origin Act of 2023. Republican legislators have expressed dissatisfaction with the report, saying the information provided was insufficient. The report comes after years of speculation over the Wuhan Institute's role in the pandemic's emergence.
Fox News: 'The View's Ana Navarro defends the Hunter Biden 'scandal' as the 'story of a father's love'
Ana Navarro defends Hunter Biden's controversies, calling it a story of father's love for his son. Hunter pleaded guilty to two federal tax charges and unlawful possession of a firearm. Even President Biden and some media supported Hunter. Navarro added that Joe Biden never gave up on his son and part of the reason Hunter was able to overcome addiction is because of Joe Biden's embrace as a father. She also attacked critics of her defense and said that it's sad for them to blast a father's unconditional love for his child.
Red State: 'In Context' Polling Numbers for Kamala Harris Make Her Look Even Worse
Vice President Kamala Harris received bad news from an NBC News poll, which showed her "positive view" ratings at 32% and a record-setting net-negative rating of -17, the lowest for any vice president in the poll's history. In comparison, former Vice Presidents Mike Pence, Joe Biden, Dick Cheney, and Al Gore had higher net-negative ratings.
As Joe Biden and Kamala Harris' approval ratings do not look good, the GOP has a prime opportunity to take back the White House in 2024 and the Senate as well. However, the outcome depends on Republican nominees who inspire the masses and can win over independent voters whose approval both parties seek during elections. The journey towards November 2024 remains bumpy, so people need to fasten their seatbelts and hold on tight.
The Epoch Times: Florida Supreme Court Says State Attorney Waited Too Long To File Case Against DeSantis
State attorney Andrew Warren has failed in his latest attempt to overturn Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’s decision to suspend him from his job. Warren argued that the governor misused his power by removing him from office in August 2022, but the state Supreme Court has ruled that he waited too long to file his petition. The court also outlined that Florida Constitution grants the governor the power to “suspend from office any state officer not subject to impeachment”. Warren was at odds with DeSantis over abortion and gender-affirming healthcare laws passed by the Republican-controlled state government.
Newsbusters: Washington Examiner’s ‘Liberal Media Scream’ With the MRC’s Assessment

Not considered by the panel is how those in red states see themselves as simply pushing back at the imposition of left-wing values that CNN euphemistically described as "inclusion." Rating: THREE out of FIVE SCREAMS.

Kagan claims Trump will be in an "incredibly powerful position" at that point and will make it clear to his supporters that if he loses, it can only be as a result of fraud. Kagan also predicts that the entire Republican Party, if Trump loses, will say that the election was fraudulent. Jonathan Capehart, host of the First Look podcast, calls Kagan's take "a pretty apocalyptic view." Rating: FIVE out of FIVE SCREAMS.

Foreign Policy: Russian Leaders Pledge Loyalty to Putin
Russian officials show support for Putin as the country faces a potential coup by the Wagner Group. Despite accusations by Prigozhin that Putin lied about the 2022 invasion of Ukraine, Putin and his officials are calling for unity and maintaining stability. However, experts suggest that the lack of action against Prigozhin's army could indicate that the Kremlin is unable to handle a domestic rebellion, especially with its best troops fighting in Ukraine.
Forbes: Wagner Mercenaries Did What Ukrainian Troops Couldn’t Do: Shoot Down A Priceless Russian Command Plane
The Wagner Group, a Russian mercenary army, mutinied over what it called “stupid meat assaults” on Ukrainian positions. The group marched towards Moscow and managed to shoot down six Russian aircraft, including an Ilyushin Il-22M Coot aerial command and relay post plane. It eventually turned around and retreated back to Belarus. The incident has temporarily distracted Russian leaders and disrupted supply lines to Ukraine, costing Russia one of its most important special-mission aircraft. The mutiny has also resulted in Wagner potentially sitting out the remainder of the war.
