Red State: Bud Light Sponsors Pride Event With Naked People and Other Concerning Things Near Children
Bud Light faces backlash for endorsing a transgender influencer and sponsoring Toronto Pride events featuring explicit and inappropriate content, including nudity and fetish outfits, in front of children. The company's attempt to apologize did not include an actual apology for their mistakes. The public is questioning if this is truly what Bud Light means by "focusing on brewing great beer" and doubts their sincerity towards the LGBTQ+ community, resulting in a potential marketing crisis.

American Thinker: Diversity's Fatal Attraction
Diversity is the new guiding principle, but is it going too far? Focusing solely on diversity of skin color and gender goes against Martin Luther King Jr.'s dream of a nation where people are judged by the content of their character. The recent tragedies of the lost research submarine and United Airlines' desire to hire pilots based on gender and ethnicity rather than competence is further evidence that diversity is veering from virtue signaling to life and death situations.
Fox News: Tennessee judge dismisses lawsuit from transgender plaintiffs asking to change sex on birth certificates
Transgender plaintiffs lose lawsuit seeking to change sex on Tennessee birth certificates. Federal judge dismisses case, in which plaintiffs argued 1977 law unconstitutional. Law does not allow sex designations on birth certificates to be changed, which they say is discriminatory. Judge rules sex means "external genitalia at the time of birth". Lambda Legal criticises ruling in which Judge Eli Richardson did not allow dispute to be used to discuss broader transgender policies as Republicans in state work to target transgender rights.

Forbes: Sergei Shoigu Appears For First Time Since Wagner Coup Attempt As West Questions Putin’s Grip On Power
Russia's Defense Minister Shoigu made his first public appearance since a failed coup attempt led by Yevgeny Prigozhin of Wagner. Shoigu flew onboard a helicopter to a Russian military outpost in Ukraine to meet with other military officials. Prigozhin’s coup attempt led to speculation that Putin’s grip on power had weakened.

American Thinker: A Proposed Fix for the Russia-Ukraine Quagmire
Russian military contractor Wagner Group's leader Yevgeny Prigozhin accuses Defense Minister Shoigu of leading Putin astray into the Ukrainian adventure. Prigozhin, who has not pledged his 25,000 strong forces to Putin, wants Shoigu and Chief of General Staff General Gerasimov to be held accountable; while Putin wants to maintain his authority, regain respect and keep warm-water port in Crimea. Ukraine's President Zelensky wants to dispel militant separatists and Russian troops and Prigozhin wants justice for his troops killed in Ukraine. There is no US national interest in Ukraine, PT taxpayers have been pilfered $110B, and the CIA may not be up to speed to address foreign issues.
American Thinker: Dems, Media Prove Anew Their ‘Flexibility’ on Russia
Democrats and their media allies use "Rahm's Rule" to exploit crises in their political favor, as they lack a consistent foreign policy and moral compass. The flexible relationship between Obama and Russia started in 2009, with Joe Biden signaling Obama's wish to work together with Russia and secure a "reset button." Critics expressed concern about American involvement in Skolkovo, a high-tech hub in Russia, and Rosatom's interest in nuclear U.S. reserves. Democrats' attempts to frame Russia as colluding with Trump led to a moral flexibility in identifying Russia as a subversive country with an unpredictable leader. The media's moral flexibility in cheering for Yevgeny Prighozin's group to take over Russia and its nukes and ongoing worship of the Azov Battalion comes at the expense of supporting actual Nazis.

Fox News: Rock Hudson was terrified of 'Dynasty' kiss with costar Linda Evans after AIDS diagnosis: 'Nobody knew'
Rock Hudson, who was diagnosed with AIDS in 1984, agonized over kissing his "Dynasty" co-star Linda Evans for fear of giving her the disease during a time when there was little information available. Hudson used multiple sprays, gargles, and mouthwashes to protect Evans, who remained unaware of his diagnosis for years. Hudson passed away in October 1985, the first major public figure to die from an AIDS-related illness. A new documentary titled "Rock Hudson: All That Heaven Allowed" explores his rise to stardom, the studio system's creation of his public persona, and his final years, as well as featuring interviews with several of Hudson's former partners and pals.
Despite Hollywood's power, Hudson's homosexuality was an open secret although the studio ensured that it would never be released to the public. For years, Hudson was able to lead a double life, going to work as a heterosexual leading man called Rock Hudson and spending his private time as Roy Fitzgerald, a handsome gay man with a bunch of friends. Hudson’s kissing scene with Evans in "Dynasty" was a traumatic experience for him, and he refused to open his mouth and kept his lips as pressed as possible to protect her. In the film, Evans admitted she didn’t know what was happening at the time, but when the news of Hudson's diagnosis was made public, some people started staying away from her. Hudson passed away in 1985, and his death raised awareness of AIDS and led to private contributions towards AIDS research and public funding for finding a cure for the disease.

The sword has a bronze hilt and is "so extraordinarily well preserved that it almost still shines," said the German State office for the Preservation of Monuments. Experts have tentatively dated it to the end of the 14th century BC, and it was found in a grave alongside three people, a man, woman and teen. Archeologists believe the sword was made locally in Bavaria. The sword will be examined to find out more about its classification.

Fox News: 3 commitments Biden's CDC pick must make to restore agency's credibility
President Biden's failure to deliver on his promise of a return to normal after COVID-19 is fueling the surprising strength of Robert Kennedy Jr., who enjoys the support of 16% of Democratic primary voters, according to a recent FOX News poll. Biden's pick to replace Dr. Rochelle Walensky at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Dr. Mandy Cohen, marched in lockstep with Dr. Anthony Fauci during COVID-19 in North Carolina, enforcing restrictions that disrupted everyday life without any demonstrated benefit. Critics are skeptical about her ability to chart a new course, and she should make three commitments to restore CDC's credibility: submit to a full congressional investigation of pandemic decision-making, decry the politicization of agency recommendations, and demonstrate a commitment to medical freedom.

Fox News: CA school district admin sued after saying he wants to bring conservative staff 'to the slaughterhouse'
A Bakersfield College professor, Daymon Johnson, sued the Kern Community College District – along with Vice President John S. Corkins – for an alleged violation of his First Amendment rights. The lawsuit was filed by the Institute for Free Speech; Johnson feared that he would be fired due to an investigation that started after he expressed his political beliefs. Johnson responded to a post from a faculty member, Andrew Bond, referring to America as a "f-----g piece of s--t nation." Bond then filed an administrative complaint against Johnson for "harassment and bullying," and as a result, the complaint said Johnson was investigated for his political views.
Washington Free Beacon: Biden Admin Says Its COVID Spending for Schools Will Boost Test Scores. Districts Used the Funds for Staff Bonuses.
The Biden administration's "historic" COVID-era school spending can turn around low eighth-grade reading and math scores, says Education Secretary Cardona. However, instead of funding tutoring or new school materials, many districts spent a large portion of the money on staff bonuses. Republicans view this as a misuse of funds and showcase the need to pursue alternative options. The National Assessment of Educational Progress report found that U.S. 13-year-olds' math and reading scores are at their lowest levels in decades, and even well-funded school districts struggle with low proficiency rates. Democrats defend additional public school spending, while Republicans push for charter schools and alternative options.
