The Blaze: NYC mayor used taxpayer money to send migrants to Texas, Florida — and even China — while condemning Republicans
New York City Mayor Eric Adams criticized Republican governors for sending migrants to his city. However, he is guilty of doing that too, using taxpayer money to resettle 114 migrant households between April 2022 and April 2023 and sending them to Texas, Florida, Colombia, Peru, Venezuela, Ecuador, and China. Adams' office claimed that New York's program is different, as they are not coercing people to leave and are connecting them with friends, family, and networks, but there is no evidence to back it up. Abbott's office accused Adams of "hypocritical charades" and called on him to call on President Biden and Congress to secure the southern border.

Fox News: House Weaponization Committee says CISA 'colluded' with Big Tech, 'facilitated the censorship of Americans'
The House Weaponization Subcommittee has accused the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) of actively censoring Americans through third-party intermediaries under the Biden administration. The allegations focus on CISA's involvement with Big Tech and government-funded third parties to censor content deemed "misinformation" by funneling reports to social media platforms. The report also claims that CISA expanded its mission from cybersecurity protection to monitor "all disinformation, including Americans’ speech."
The Epoch Times: Rep. Jordan Demands Answers on Hunter Biden Prosecutor’s Refusal to Provide Documents
House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) is requesting documents and communications related to the DOJ’s alleged retaliation against IRS whistleblowers investigating Hunter Biden. Jordan had previously sent a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland requesting the information, but received a reply from U.S. Attorney David Weiss declining to accommodate his requests. In response, Jordan reiterated his requests and asked for a list of all those who assisted in drafting Weiss’ June 7 letter. Weiss had previously claimed that Jordan’s inquiry would prejudice his work if he were to accommodate their requests. Jordan has given Weiss until July 6 to provide the requested information.
The House Ways and Means Committee has released the sworn testimony of two IRS whistleblowers involved in the probe of Hunter Biden’s taxes, alleging privileged treatment for Biden, DOJ interference, and retaliation for voicing their concerns. Following a party-line vote, the Republican-led committee released redacted documents detailing the allegations. Committee Chairman Jason Smith said the testimony showed evidence of preferential treatment towards Hunter Biden, which would not have been granted to ordinary Americans. Jordan's letter coincided with the release of the whistleblowers’ testimony.
The Epoch Times: Iowa Newspaper Apologizes for Slurs Against Presidential Runner Vivek Ramaswamy in Racially-Charged Cartoon
The Quad-City Times newspaper issued an apology after publishing a political cartoon that depicted Vivek Ramaswamy, a Republican presidential candidate, as the recipient of racial slurs from his own prospective Republican supporters. The cartoon included a depiction of Ramaswamy at a sparsely attended campaign rally, with all three attendees shouting insults at him. One attendee shouts “Get me a slushee Apu!!!” at Ramaswamy, who is of Indian descent, while another attendee shouts “Muslim!!” at the Hindu candidate. The cartoon was intended to criticize racist ideas and epithets but was wrong for its use of “a phrase that is racist and insensitive to members of our Indian American community,” according to Tom Martin, the executive editor of the Quad-City Times.
Human Events: POSOBIEC: The FBI never opened a counterintelligence
investigation in 2020 on Hunter Biden but did on Trump in 2016
House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Jason Smith released five new documents from IRS whistleblowers alleging that the Justice Department interfered with the investigation into Hunter Biden's taxes. Human Events host Jack Posobiec questioned why the investigation was handed off to the IRS instead of the FBI or DOJ, and claimed that brave agents came forward saying they were blocked from conducting any subpoenas, raids, or any action on the Hunter Biden investigation. House Speaker Kevin McCarthy said he would undertake an impeachment inquiry into Biden's Attorney General Merrick Garland if the IRS whistleblower's documents are accurate.
The Blaze: Don't miss Levin's new book, 'The Democrat Party Hates America'
Mark Levin's new book, "The Democrat Party Hates America," uncovers the sinister history of the party from its Confederate roots to American Marxism. Levin believes that the Democrats hate America because they have never embraced Americanism, including the pro-constitution, Bill of Rights, private property rights, individualism, and capitalism. He argues that they instead promote critical race theory and promote racism while ignoring the needs of American citizens.
Daily Wire: Prosecutor Reportedly Told Six Witnesses He Was Not Permitted To Charge Hunter Biden
U.S. Attorney David Weiss was reportedly denied permission to bring charges against Hunter Biden in Washington, D.C. by Biden-appointed U.S. Attorney Matthew Graves. IRS whistleblower Gary Shapley named six witnesses who heard Weiss say that he wanted to charge Biden in two federal districts, but was denied. Attorney General Merrick Garland denied the allegations, stating that Weiss would have been allowed to make a decision on prosecution and choose any district to do so. The dispute revolves around allegations of foreign income from Burisma Holdings and a scheme to evade income taxes during 2014 and 2015.
National Review: The Corner: Nancy Pelosi’s Sudden Conversion Experience
MSNBC host Jen Psaki interviews Nancy Pelosi and questions her about the legitimacy of the Supreme Court and introduces the concept of term limits. Pelosi's response includes lies and personal hypocrisy, while seeking to revise the U.S. Constitution. Pelosi is guilty of insider-trading stock-dump and lacks ethical standards, making her opinions self-serving. Pelosi's sudden adoption of virtues she lacked during her four-decade career reminds one of a pagan king's deathbed conversion to Christianity just in case.
The Blaze: Fact-checking Joe Biden because the media can’t
Pat Gray fact-checks Joe Biden's recent claims about the NRA and the Second Amendment, pointing out that they are not true and that even the Washington Post is questioning Biden's statements. Gray notes that while the media loves to fact-check, it seems incapable or unwilling to do so when it comes to Biden. Biden's claims about gun violence and the Second Amendment have become increasingly outlandish, with even fact-checkers calling out his incorrect statements.
Daily Wire: WATCH: Man Takes On ‘Woke A** Idiots’ In New York City, Chants ‘Give Us Pizza! Or Give Us Death!’
A New York artist has thrown pizza at City Hall in defiance of a proposed environmental regulation. Scott LoBaido was protesting against the New York City Department of Environmental Protection's plans to require restaurants using coal or wood-fired ovens to cut their carbon emissions by up to 75%. They may have to invest in expensive emissions-curbing technology under the plans. LoBaido argued the policy was misguided and cited other problems in the city including illegal immigration and rising crime rates. He has been summoned on a charge of disorderly conduct.
Newsbusters: NBC News Poll Finds Low Confidence in President Biden’s Mental Fitness
Voters are unhappy and concerned about the mental and physical wellbeing of President Biden. According to a recent NBC News poll, 74% of people believe the nation is on the wrong track, with only 20% believing it is going in the right direction. Chuck Todd warns that historical trends suggest Democrats could lose the presidency in 2024 if these approval ratings persist. The poll also reveals that 68% of voters, including 43% of Democrats, believe that Biden does not have the necessary mental and physical health to be president. These numbers are significantly higher than those recorded for former President Trump.
Washington Free Beacon: Rhode Island Dem Arrested for Keying Car With 'Biden Sucks' Sticker
Democratic state senator Joshua Miller was arrested for allegedly keying the side of a car with an anti-Biden sticker in Rhode Island. Miller faces charges of vandalism and malicious injury to property, to which he initially denied. The car's owner identified Miller as the suspect to the police, and Miller admitted to the crime later. He was released on a $1,000 personal recognizance and will appear in court next month.

Fox News: Putin says Wagner mutineers ‘betrayed’ Russia, offers non-participants contract with Ministry of Defense
Putin denounced the mutiny by Wagner mercenary troops led by Yevgeny Prigozhin, which aimed to prevent the destruction of his private military company. Putin accused the Nazis in Kyiv and their Western sponsors of seeking bloodshed. He extended an offer to Wagner troops to continue their service to Russia or return to their families. The Kremlin said it brokered a deal for Prigozhin to move to Belarus and receive amnesty, along with his soldiers. Although a criminal case against Prigozhin hasn't been closed, some Russian lawmakers called for his head.
National Review: In Post-Rebellion Remarks, Putin Promises Retribution for Organizers and Olive Branch for Wagner Soldiers
Russian president Vladimir Putin offered to reintegrate the majority of the Wagner troops into the military but promised that organizers would be brought to justice. Chief of Wagner, Yevgeny Prigozhin, led a rebellion which saw Wagner troops occupy Rostov-on-Don and march towards Moscow. Prigozhin turned back after reaching a deal brokered by Belarus's president Aleksandr Lukashenko. Putin said organizers would be brought to justice and that the majority of the Wagner company are also patriots of Russia. Putin made no mention of concessions made to Prigozhin and Wagner.

Foreign Policy: Anti-China Rhetoric Distracts Washington—and Boosts Beijing
US must engage with China despite Republican opposition. While there is no doubt that the China challenge exists, policymakers must not let fear and panic dictate US Asian policy. Both Republicans and Democrats should rethink US foreign policy to develop and enhance diplomacy with China, with a focus on development, as China has increased its diplomatic capacity and is now a global superpower. To counteract this, Congress needs to take significant measures to modernize State and USAID, give diplomats and development professionals the tools to conduct their missions, and avoid counterproductive policymaking.
The Epoch Times: Putin Breaks Silence for First Time Since Wagner Mutiny Ended
Russian President Vladimir Putin has promised to bring the leaders of the Wagner rebellion to justice in his first statement since the truce was established. The leader of the mercenary group, Yevgeny Prigozhin, is reportedly being promised a pardon in exchange for exile to Belarus, however, Putin’s speech suggests that criminal charges against him may still be on the table. Prigozhin has since clarified that the push towards Moscow was not an attempted coup but a peaceful act of protest to prevent the dissolution of PMC Wagner. Western officials have stated that the Wagner revolt could be a challenge to Putin's grip on power.

The Epoch Times: American States Considering Taxing Vehicle Owners Based on Distances Traveled
States are considering charging vehicle owners based on miles they drive to replace declining gas taxes. The federal government has set aside $124 million to start a pilot program analyzing the proposal. At least eight states considered bills aimed at taxing drivers of electric vehicles for the distance they cover. However, experts raise doubts as to whether a road usage-charge system will work in the US. Virginia enacted a law in 2022 stating that data collected for the pilot fee-per-mile program will not be used for any purpose other than to collect unpaid fees. Only three states are making revenue from road usage charges or mileage-based user fees: Virginia, Utah, and Oregon.
The Epoch Times: 3 Factors Continue to Drive Foreign Investment out of China: Experts
Foreign investments are leaving China's sluggish economy due to three primary reasons: geopolitical tensions, data control, and economic downturn. Geopolitical tensions between China and democratic nations have resulted in North American investors becoming trepidatious about putting money in China. Meanwhile, the CCP's strict control of data sharing has led to a lack of transparency in China's macroeconomic and corporate data, resulting in foreign executives being hesitant to make investments, and foreign financial institutions are taking steps to reduce investment in China and increase their holdings in other Asian countries. With China's economy lacking momentum and a weak confidence in consumption, it is difficult for China to recover the withdrawn foreign capital or attract more investments.
The Epoch Times: Over Half of $7B in Subsidies to Support 'Innovative Projects' Won't Be Recovered: Federal Records
Over half of the $7 billion spent under Canada's Strategic Innovation Fund (SIF) will not be recovered, according to Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada. The submission to senators also stated that nearly 60% of the funds were non-repayable. Ministers launched the SIF in 2017 aimed toward financing “innovative projects that will help grow Canada’s economy for the well-being of all Canadians.” It was also meant to create nearly 56,000 jobs. However, a 2019 memo has found that recipients are not required to report on the number of jobs created, and this recently submitted document shows that non-repayable contributions are awarded based on public benefit and project alignment with government investment priorities.
The Epoch Times: Supreme Court to Decide Scope of Congress's Taxing Power
The Supreme Court will consider a challenge to the Mandatory Repatriation Tax, part of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017, which levies a wealth tax on capital gains never received by a married couple from Washington state. The couple argues that this tax violates the Constitution’s requirement for direct federal taxes to be apportioned among the states and the prohibition against retroactive taxation. The Supreme Court granted the petition in Moore v. United States on June 26, and at least four of the nine justices must vote in favor of the petition for the case to advance to the oral argument stage.

The Federalist: Church Attendance Down As The Mental Health Crisis Runs Amuck
Church attendance in America is declining, with only 31% of adults surveyed by Gallup having attended a religious service in the last seven days. Furthermore, religion is seen as less important, with only 16% of those surveyed by the Public Religion Research Institute stating that it is the most important thing in their lives. Coinciding with this decline is an increase in mental health disorders, for which almost 80 million Americans are prescribed psychiatric medication. However, numerous studies have found that religious involvement is associated with less depression and anxiety. A commitment to religious service may therefore be crucial to alleviate this national mental health crisis.

Flag And Cross: Daylight Saving Could Save UK Economy £6.5M
Keeping daylight saving time in the winter could save the UK economy nearly £6.5 million ($8.2M) and reduce serious road accidents by up to 20 percent, according to British researchers at the University of Surrey. The study, which analysed a decade of data, indicates that serious accidents fell by between 15 and 20 percent in the days following longer evening light. Minor accidents rose by 13 percent following the change back to standard time in autumn. Driving conditions are critical to behaviour and safety but the study’s authors argued that measures such as improvements in artificial lighting in accident blackspots could improve driver outcomes .
The Epoch Times: Film Review: ‘No Way Back: the Reality of Gender-Affirming Care’
Following the documentary "No Way Back: the Reality of Gender-Affirming Care," which was canceled by AMC on its scheduled theatrical release date due to pressure from special-interest fringe groups, the independent film is set to be released on DVD and on-demand within the next 30 days. The documentary, directed by L.E. Dawes and produced by liberal democrats, presents facts and testimonies from six "detransitioning" young adults, medical experts, and scientific data regarding the increasing number of teens identifying as transsexual and the risks and concerns of "Informed Consent." It raises a child protection and anti-grooming issue rather than a political or lifestyle choice issue.
The Epoch Times: Millions Don’t Regain Senses of Smell and Taste After COVID: Clinicians Share Validated Approaches
Loss of sense of smell or taste after recovery from COVID-19 can have adverse effects on an individual's mental and physical health. The underlying mechanisms behind these symptoms can be attributed to the virus's direct impact on the cells and tissues responsible for these senses, chronic inflammation, and blood clots. There are several treatment options available, including anti-parasitic drugs, low-dose naltrexone, omega-3 fatty acids, anti-clotting therapies, smell retraining, and injection of a local anesthetic block. Different therapies work for different individuals based on their unique circumstances.

Flag And Cross: Megalodon's Extinction Linked To Being Warm-Blooded
The megalodon, the world's largest marine predator, may have gone extinct due to its ability to regulate its own body temperature. American scientists studied the teeth of the megalodon, which lived between 3.6 and 23 million years ago, using mass spectrometers to estimate sea temperatures at the sites where the teeth were found. The megalodon was warmer than other sharks, which allowed it to travel to colder regions and make it the ultimate predator. However, the creature's voracious appetite to sustain its body temperature may have made it vulnerable to environmental changes. The study could provide insights into the vulnerabilities of modern-day marine predators.
