Daily Wire: SCOTUS Denies Louisiana Appeal To Keep Congressional Map, Clears Way For 2nd Majority-Black District
Louisiana must redraw its congressional map to create a second majority-black district after the US Supreme Court denied its appeal, following a ruling that Alabama should redraw its congressional maps to include a second majority-black district. Both states must redistrict before the 2024 elections, with the rulings potentially helping the Democrats in their bid to retake control of the House. Some believe this decision could also affect maps in South Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia, but it remains to be seen whether other states’ maps will be struck down.

Mike Slater starts hosting Breitbart News Daily today, discussing his journey and the weekend rebellion in Russia. Tom Homan, former acting ICE director under Trump, talks about the recent Supreme Court decision on immigration policies.
Breitbart: Stefanik: IRS Whistleblower Claims Show 'Heinous Cover-Up'
House GOP Chair Stefanik called the IRS whistleblower allegations of political interference against DOJ on behalf of Biden family "disgusting, although not surprising." She promised accountability, transparency & true justice, calling it an "unprecedented betrayal of the American people." The House Ways and Means Committee released bombshell testimony from two IRS whistleblowers, raising at least 13 new allegations against DOJ and the Biden family. Selected hashtag: .
The New American: IRS, ATF Join Forces to Harass Gun Shop Owners - The New American
The ATF and IRS have raided gun stores in Georgia and Montana, removing records of firearms purchases. This comes after President Biden announced a new policy to revoke the licenses of dealers who violate federal law, such as transferring firearms to prohibited persons or refusing an ATF inspection. Republicans have accused the administration of weaponizing federal agencies to harass gun shops and intimidate owners, while the agencies claim they are merely enforcing the law. The raids have resulted in an egregious breach of privacy for gun owners, with sensitive personal information now in the hands of the IRS.
Fox News: Speaker McCarthy pressed on potential impeachment proceedings after release of alleged Hunter Biden message
The Speaker of the House has suggested that Attorney General Merrick Garland could face impeachment proceedings if an IRS whistleblower's claims about the investigation into Hunter Biden are substantiated. The investigation has focused on a 2017 WhatsApp message from Hunter Biden to a Chinese businessman that allegedly mentioned President Joe Biden and demanded payment for a commitment. The Attorney General has denied any wrongdoing.
Hunter Biden's attorney criticized the release of the purported message, calling it "irresponsible" and "illegal," and stating that it should not be used to draw conclusions. The DOJ recently conducted a five-year investigation into Hunter Biden's taxes and firearm charges, resulting in his plea agreement for two instances of misdemeanor failure to file tax payments and a firearm charge. The White House has denied that President Biden was involved in his son's business.
Washington Free Beacon: DeSantis Unveils Hardline Plan To Secure Border
Florida governor Ron DeSantis unveils his border-security plan at an event in Texas. The plan includes ending catch and release, denying asylum seekers entry and taxing remittances to pay for a border wall. DeSantis also plans to end birthright citizenship and use unilateral executive action to enforce the policies. DeSantis, who announced his presidential bid last month, is pushing to gain momentum against former President Donald Trump, who is leading national opinion polls by over 20 points. Dem critics call the plan an "echo of the same cruel and callous policies" of Trump.

National Review: The Corner: Minors Don’t Have a Right to Porn
Louisiana has implemented Act 440, requiring pornographic websites to age-verify users in an attempt to prevent underage access to explicit content. A federal lawsuit has been filed alleging that the law violates the First Amendment, with claims that it infringes on separation of church and state since Christian groups helped promote it. The Court's evaluation of blue laws suggests this claim is unfounded. Protecting minors from the darker corners of the Internet is clearly a priority, with this act setting an example for conservative state governments to create legal pathways to push back against moral decay.
Fox News: Haruki Murakami opposes destruction of nearly century-old baseball baseball stadium in Tokyo
Beloved Tokyo park district, Jingu Gaien, may face redevelopment, replacing the nearly century-old baseball stadium and removing hundreds of trees. Tokyo Governor Yuriko Koike is pushing the plan, which is opposed by conservationists, followers of rugby and baseball, as well as civil groups. Author Haruki Murakami has spoken against it, as the ball park was where he was inspired to become a novelist and the green district provided him with his favourite running path. Murakami says it has been advanced without transparency, environmental assessment or adequate explanation to residents.
The Blaze: Women turn back to traditional roles because feminism FAILED them
Lily Kate and Chad Prather discuss modern feminism and the shift towards women embracing traditional roles. They believe that the idea of "full autonomy" for women is a feminist lie, and that men are being scared away from approaching women due to societal pressure. Kate argues that women's goal is to civilize men, not nature, and that women can be at their most powerful by inserting beauty into the culture that men build.

Fox News: Biden admin says it doesn't know where Wagner group leader Yevgeny Prigozhin is after short-lived mutiny
The whereabouts of Wagner Group chief Yevgeny Prigozhin are unknown after his brief rebellion against Putin's regime. The US State Department confirmed it did not know where he was, and that this was a new and unusual development. Prigozhin has since reached a deal with the Kremlin move to Belarus with his soldiers. The march towards Moscow was a protest against the unfair prosecution of war in Ukraine rather than an attempt at regime change.

Washington Free Beacon: US Carrier Makes Rare Visit To Vietnamese Port Amid Tensions With China
The U.S. nuclear-powered aircraft carrier Ronald Reagan will visit Vietnam's port city of Danang until June 30, in a rare visit for a U.S. warship to the southeast Asian nation, amid ongoing tensions with Beijing in the South China Sea. The visit marks the third time a U.S. aircraft carrier has visited since the Vietnam War, and comes as Washington seeks to upgrade its formal ties with Vietnam, due to Hanoi's frequent disputes with Beijing over boundaries in the South China Sea. China claims waters almost in their entirety, including the exclusive economic zones of Vietnam and other countries in the region.
Red State: Putin's Non-Prosecution Deal for Wagner Already Revoked, Prigozhin Denies It Was a Coup
Yevgeny Prigozhin's attempted coup stopped just shy of Moscow due to a negotiation with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko. The agreement stated that Prigozhin would go into exile in Belarus and the Kremlin would drop prosecution charges, but recent reports say that the criminal case against Prigozhin is still ongoing, and he could face up to 20 years in prison.
Fox News: Russian mercenary's speech on Putin standoff sparks questions about his fate
Yevgeny Prigozhin, leader of the Wagner Group, gave a speech explaining his intent behind the uprising in Russia, stating that he did not want to oust Putin but wanted his support in a feud with Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu. Prigozhin sought Putin's reversal of his support for the Ministry of Defense's recent requirement that Wagner sign a contract with the MoD by July 1, which he perceived as a threat to Wagner's autonomy and control. Prigozhin's speech did little to clarify the future of his group, leaving them with an uncertain future which Prigozhin seemingly hinted at overseas service. While PMC Wagner's future is unclear, Russia needs a similar paramilitary squad where plausible deniability is required, according to author Rebekah Koffler.
Prigozhin miscalculated by staging an armed rebellion, which made him an enemy of the state instead of gaining him influence with Putin. Former spokesperson for the U.S. Mission to the United Nations and a Russia expert, Jonathan Wachtel, suggested that Putin and Prigozhin share a desire not to see Russia collapse into civil war and Russian-on-Russian violence. Prigozhin's speech seemingly indicated that he may shop the group's services to overseas bidders. However, Koffler warned that Prigozhin cannot be trusted any more than Putin and that any comments he makes from this point on are likely part of an agenda.

The Blaze: BlackRock CEO admits DeSantis hurt firm after divesting billions over woke policies — months after firm attacked Florida
BlackRock CEO Larry Fink admitted that Governor DeSantis hurt the firm's reputation by withdrawing $2 billion last year from BlackRock's management. The world's largest asset manager has been targeted by many anti-woke movements because of BlackRock's environmental, social, and governance policies. Numerous states have questioned whether BlackRock has shifted from a traditional asset manager to a political action committee. This admission is especially ironic because BlackRock previously claimed that Florida's divestment would hurt Florida's citizens, but it has had a negative impact on the company itself.
When Fink was asked about his shame for centralizing ESG policies, he tried to backtrack, stating that he never said he was ashamed; he believes in conscientious capitalism. Fink has become a target of criticism over letters he wrote emphasizing ESG policies. However, he denies wading into politics and claimed that his letters aimed to identify long-term issues to long-term investors. Fink's emphasis on ESG policies has been so front-and-center of his vision that it made headlines when his 2023 investment letter had zero mentions of ESG.
Forbes: Intel Clarifies Internal Foundry Model, Filled With Accountability
Intel has restructured its TD, manufacturing, and Intel Foundry Services (IFS) units under one P&L responsibility as part of its new IDM 2.0 model. Previously, BUs allocated 100% of their costs and were somewhat cost-insensitive. Now, each BU is responsible for the costs of their manufacturing decisions, and Intel has established standardised pricing for the four BUs based on benchmarks from competing semiconductor foundries and OSAT vendors. The move is believed to reduce manufacturing costs by $3bn in 2023 and up to $10bn by 2025. This is CEO Pat Gelsinger's way of making everyone in his organisation more accountable for their behaviour.
National Review: The Corner: Maybe Joe Biden Meant His Super-Wealthy Son Should Start Paying His ‘Fair Share’
President Biden calls for super-wealthy to pay their fair share of taxes, pointing out the lack of tax payments from his son. He plans to run for reelection on this platform and emphasizes the need for everyone, regardless of wealth or power, to pay their fair share.
Breitbart: BlackRock CEO Larry Fink No Longer Uses 'ESG,' Laments Term 'Weaponized'
BlackRock's CEO, Larry Fink, has revealed he no longer uses the term ESG when discussing investments, stating that the term has been "politically weaponized" and has been "misused" by both the far left and the far right. Fink argued that the term has become too politicized and has been "weaponized" as a result.

The Economist: Britain’s short prison sentences are a disaster
Britain's frequent use of short prison sentences for minor crimes is revealing deep flaws in the criminal justice system. Short sentences are expensive, failing to reduce criminality and making prisons more chaotic. They are also detrimental to rehabilitation efforts, causing disproportionally high levels of trouble among both offenders and prison staff. A well-functioning probation system, greater use of pre-sentence reports, diversion of low-level offenders away from jail and investment in alternatives such as health and welfare support are suggested remedies, however, community sentences are also failing and progressive policies could be interpreted as being soft on crime.
Agricultural shows, such as the Royal Windsor Horse Show, are gaining momentum in Britain as the country shows its love of celebrating rural life. The shows serve as a multifaceted day out for families, with highlights including competitions, demonstrations, craft fairs, and food. According to the Royal Agricultural Society of England, which oversees the country's top agricultural shows, the sector is worth about £1.3bn ($1.8bn) to the economy each year. Agricultural shows are particularly popular in the south-west of England and Wales.

Flag And Cross: Neanderthal Genes Influence Human Biology, Study Finds
A study has suggested that Neanderthal genes inherited by humans who migrated out of Africa may impact how fast a person can burn calories and their natural immunity to certain diseases. Researchers analysed genetic data from around 300,000 individuals without African ancestry and found that between one and four percent of their genome came from Neanderthals. The influence of the extinct species’ genes on human evolution could have both “beneficial and detrimental consequences,” according to Senior Investigator Sriram Sankararaman, Associate Professor at the University of California. The study has made its suite of computational genetic tools available for free download.
