Florida Governor Ron DeSantis revealed his plan to address the border crisis during a trip to Eagle Pass, Texas, which includes ending catch-and-release, reimposing the Remain in Mexico policy, building a border wall, and holding cartels accountable, as well as working with states to enforce the law. DeSantis also plans to increase Border Patrol pay to recruit former military and police officers and end the idea that children of illegal aliens are entitled to birthright citizenship. The plan proposes to sanction and restrict visas of countries who do not accept deportees and prevent future caravans from South America and Chinese control of the Panama Canal.

National Review: The Corner: Senator Klobuchar’s Misleading Abortion Comments
Senator Amy Klobuchar made a criticism about the Supreme Court's opinion in Dobbs, citing the Alito opinion and a Middle Age treatise. However, Alito was countering the argument from Roe v. Wade that stated there was a tradition of permissive abortion laws stretching back hundreds of years. Klobuchar also claimed she was open to "allowing" restrictions on abortion so long as there were exceptions for "life or health", but pre-Dobbs, such restrictions were effectively unenforceable.

Spectator USA: The crucial Supreme Court decisions set to be decided this week
The Supreme Court is nearing the end of its session, with major decisions yet to be made. One case addresses whether state Supreme Courts can rule on gerrymandering cases. Another looks at whether race can play a role in college admissions. A third case involves freedom of speech and whether an artist can refuse service for a gay wedding. Two other cases challenge the Biden administration's plan to cancel student debt and the level of cost necessary to fire an employee seeking religious accommodations.
Newsbusters: ABC Media Panel Brags Dems ‘Don’t Have to Articulate' 'Extreme' Abortion Stance
On ABC's This Week, the liberal media admitted that Democrats have an "extreme" stance on abortion but bragged that they don't have to answer for it, while discussing the anniversary of the overturning of Roe v Wade. Jonathan Karl worried about the proliferation of pro-life laws, while NPR's Asma Khalid and Washington Post's Marrianna Sotomayor boasted that Republicans achieved their goal of overturning Roe and now Democrats can just point out that GOP policy is bad. Former Trump Chief of Staff Reince Priebus tried to argue that the Democratic position of abortions up until the moment of birth was widely unpopular, but Karl repeatedly interrupted him. The conversation was not allowed to dive deeper into the left's "extreme" abortion position.

National Review: The Most Hilarious Russia-Hoax Failure of All
The media and FBI dismissed concerns of Joe Biden's family business with foreign actors, despite evidence of wrongdoing. Hunter Biden's alleged WhatsApp message to a Chinese official was followed by a $5 million transfer to his firm and spread of wealth to family members, including James Biden. The double standard of treatment and focus on non-existent Russia collusion and "norms" by Biden's supporters underscore a fact pattern of foreign influence more alarming than anything seen in the Trump investigation.

The Epoch Times: Vestibular Therapy as a Drug-Free Headache Treatment Option
Eye exercises targeting the vestibular system could offer relief to those with tension headaches and vestibular migraines. Vestibular rehabilitation therapy uses eye, head, and body movements to improve the connection between the brain and the body and progressively lessen the symptoms of both vestibular migraines and tension-type headaches. The vestibular therapy program consists of specific exercises that purposefully provoke the visual symptoms associated with vestibular migraines to retrain over- or underactive eye movements. These exercises improve gaze and postural stability, which can help reduce headaches.
Vestibular irregularities can cause dizziness, nausea, vertigo, migraines, and tension-type headaches. Irregularities in eye movements, such as smooth pursuit and saccades, result from head injury, concussion, developmental delay, neurodegenerative conditions, and vestibular lesions. Misaligned head and neck can cause tension-type headaches over time. Vestibular rehabilitation therapy utilizes only horizontal and vertical movements of the head and eyes to retain fixation on a target while moving the head or eyes independently at varying speeds. Professional assessment and guidance are recommended for the personalized treatment of vestibular rehabilitation.

Bridge fishing provides a unique opportunity to fish around hard structures that attract marine life, particularly in estuaries and inlets where bridges are the only significant structure. Bridge stanchions made of concrete, wood, steel, rebar, or modern composite materials provide an ideal habitat for fish as they create current breaks and eddies that offer perfect hunting territory compared to the surrounding waters that lack features. Bridged waters regularly attract tautog, sheepshead, striped bass, fluke, black sea bass, weakfish, and bluefish. Clean and clear water and stable water temperatures that aren't fluctuating day to day based on heavy winds are best to spark a bite.

The American Mind: Escaping From Reality
The Apple Vision Pro, a set of virtual reality goggles that aims to replace physical reality, is expensive and inconvenient, and ultimately fails to fulfill people's desire for reality. People are designed to live in reality and will always prefer it to an artificial copy. This desire for reality is reflected in classic sci-fi films like The Matrix, where protagonist Neo chooses to accept reality in all its ugliness, while antagonist Cypher rejects it by choosing to live in the Matrix. Entrepreneurs succeed when they understand this desire for reality and create products that enhance it rather than replace it.
