Breitbart: McFaul: Putin Speech Revealed He Is 'Afraid,' Doing 'Very Delicate Dance'
Former U.S. ambassador to Russia, Michael McFaul, has suggested that President Vladimir Putin is fearful of Yevgeny Prigozhin and the Wagner mercenaries. He said Putin was trying to divide the Wagner soldiers from their leadership when the president appeared to accuse them of being misled by their commanders into joining the conflict in eastern Ukraine. McFaul said Putin can't arrest all the mercenaries, so he has to do a "delicate dance" and blame the leadership instead of the soldiers. Putin's address was an attempt to put a division between the council of Wagner leaders and the soldiers; it is unknown whether it will be effective.

The American Spectator: Trouble in Putin’s Gangsta’s Paradise
Billionaire Yevgeny Prigozhin, a Putin ally, began a gangland war with Sergei Shoigu, a multi-millionaire who rules over Russia’s armed forces and its defense procurements. Prigozhin’s Wagner Group extended their activities to neighboring Ukraine, recruiting an army bigger than Holland's. Prigozhin started a march on Moscow with thousands of heavily armed and battle-hardened mobsters, but Alexander Lukashenko, head of a criminal gang in Belarus worked out a fragile deal. Prigozhin stood down, moved much of the gang to Belarus, and retained and continued his profitable overseas operations. Prigozhin’s gambit exposed Vladimir Putin as a weakened leader whose days may be numbered.

The American Spectator: Disney’s Ghost Haunts Woke Disney
Disney has incurred almost $900 million in losses from its last eight studio releases and lost $1.5 billion in Q4 from its streaming service, due to left-wing fanaticism that resulted in failures to understand its audience. To achieve their mission of politically correcting children's entertainment, they phased out princesses and went through a gender-neutral and "alphabet" phase. But even this backfired, as their politically correct focus led to disinterest from their target audience and poor box office results.

Forbes: Having Once Suffered From A Cut In ICC Funding, Japan Is Aiming For A Cricket Rise
India's takeover of International Cricket Council (ICC) could leave global repercussions and affects the lower rungs of the sport, according to a report by ESPNcricinfo. India is set to receive $230m a year or 38.5% of the net surplus from the ICC's $3bn media rights deal, which is set to dominate discussions at the ICC meetings next month in Durban. With Japan Cricket Association targeted as a growth country for cricket, its head of operations, Alan Curr is hoping the country can become self-sufficient and get 50% of its funding from other sources than the ICC in the next five years.
Japan is hoping to host a World Cup in the future, given the raw talent of children honed on a diet of baseball. According to Curr, "when I first came to Japan, it was clear that there was talent here - more than I expected," he said. One of Japan's main goals is to become less reliant on ICC funding and to generate their own in the next five years with the belief that it could make a mark on cricket given the raw talent of children. The country is also hoping to stand on its own two feet in the cricket world, with attracting sponsorship being one of the main challenges.
