Red State: Report: House Freedom Caucus Discusses Kicking Marjorie Taylor Greene to the Curb
House Freedom Caucus reportedly discussed removing Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene during a closed-door meeting on Friday. According to members of the caucus, Greene's recent behavior has been "unprofessional," causing frustration among other Republicans. However, an ouster is unlikely since it requires an 80 percent majority vote. It is unclear why the discussion was leaked to the left-leaning Axios outlet, but it may have been a strategic move by either supporters of Greene or the ouster to solidify opposition or damage support. Ultimately, the House Freedom Caucus continues to hold sway in the House Republican Caucus despite feuding and polarization.
The Epoch Times: Simon Crean, Labor 'Loyal Servant' Dead at 74
Simon Crean, a prominent figure in the Labor party, has passed away in Berlin. Crean served as a parliamentarian for 23 years and was a cabinet minister in multiple governments including Bob Hawke, Paul Keating, Kevin Rudd, and Julia Gillard. He was integral in the development of the Hawke government’s industrial relations reforms and served as the leader of the federal Labor parliamentary party from 2001 to 2003. Crean’s legacy will be remembered as a lifetime of service to his nation and the Labor movement.
Crean’s family is mourning the loss of the Labor party figurehead. Former prime ministers Julia Gillard and Tony Abbott paid tribute to Crean’s convictions and his dedication to Labor values. Crean will be remembered as a devoted public servant and a loving husband and father, leaving behind his wife of 50 years, Carole, and their two children Sarah and Emma.

In Portland, a Patriot Front-like group showed up at a political rally but were confronted by rallygoers who called them out as racists and forced them to leave. Video of the incident went viral, with almost 15 million views. Some speculate the group may be astroturfed and not genuine white nationalists. Former Illinois representative and CNN commentator Adam Kinzinger sparked controversy by calling the group "federal officers", leading to accusations he is feeding conspiracy theories and defending alleged white nationalists. Fox News: Greece’s conservatives win landslide victory in elections
In Greece's second election in five weeks, the conservative New Democracy party won a strong victory, giving leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis a second term as Prime Minister. New Democracy won just over 40.5% of the vote, while the left-wing Syriza party fell significantly from May's election, struggling to reach 18%. Mitsotakis campaigned on securing economic growth and has vowed to rebrand Greece as a pro-business and fiscally responsible member of the eurozone. The election was held under an electoral system that grants a bonus of between 25 and 50 seats to the winning party, making it easier to secure a parliamentary majority.

The Epoch Times: Australian PM Calls Out Russia's Disastrous War and Coup Chaos
PM Albanese blames Putin's decision to invade Ukraine for Russia's failed coup led by Wagner Group founder Yevgeny Prigozhin, stating that it has been a disaster for Ukraine and Russia. Albanese claims that the situation is unlikely to be resolved and recommends Putin's withdrawal from the invasion of Ukraine for the good of international law. The coup was put off due to Belarus' intervention to halt the advance of Wagner troops on Moscow in return for their safety, but the situation remains unstable and has led to Foreign Minister Penny Wong urging Australian citizens in Russia to leave immediately.
Daily Wire: Retired U.S. Admiral Makes Prediction On What’s Going To Happen To Wagner Boss Prigozhin
Wagner boss Yevgeny Prigozhin's days are numbered following his failed coup in Russia over the weekend, says retired U.S. Admiral James Stavridis. He predicts that the incident was the latest piece of “chaos” that Russia has had to deal with over the last 16 months since President Vladimir Putin invaded Ukraine. The attempted rebellion would impact Russia's ability to fight in Ukraine, impacting leadership changes. Prigozhin will now be isolated from the 35,000 fighters that have protected him and will not last 60-90 days. Putin is set to seek vengeance on Prigozhin.

Fox News: Taylor Swift tells fans they don’t need to ‘defend’ her online ahead of re-release of ‘Speak Now’ album

She discouraged fans from feeling the need to defend her on the internet against someone she may have written a song about 14 years ago. She had not played the song publicly for 11 years before her Minneapolis concert, during which she noted she was "not putting this album out so that you can go and should feel the need to defend me on the internet."

The Federalist Papers: USDA Decides on Bill Gates-Approved Fake Meat - Are These Cancer Tumors or Totally Safe to Eat?
The USDA has approved the production of lab-grown or synthetic meat, which aims to create muscle tissues that mimic traditional meat by using animal cells. Bill Gates is among the investors who hail lab-grown meat as a sustainable alternative to livestock farming and a solution to food challenges and the environmental impact of meat production. However, critics have raised safety issues, such as the use of “immortalized cells” and long-term consequences. While Bloomberg notes that synthetic meat companies are anxious about discussing this topic publically, the meat industry may have to disclose more information in the future.
Fox News: American Medical Association under fire for saying BMI is racist: 'Pushing an agenda'
The American Medical Association labels the BMI scale as "problematic" and "racist," disclosing that it discourages doctors to entirely rely on the scale to determine if a patient is healthy or not due to supposed discrimination. Medical experts call it an "imperfect" scale that excludes certain ethnicities. Fox News contributor David Webb stated that the AMA should focus on biology and science rather than pushing an agenda. More than half the world's population is predicted to be obese or overweight by 2035 in a new report. Fox News contributor Lisa Boothe speculates the move comes because "Big Pharma" wants to make money off the sick. The AMA suggests doctors rely on other factors such as genes, body composition, belly fat, and waist circumference, along with the BMI scale to determine the patient's level of health.
