Breitbart: House GOP: 'Almost All' Migrants at Ports of Entry Are Being Freed into U.S.
House GOP: 'Almost All' Migrants at Ports of Entry Are Being Freed into U.S.
House Republicans claim President Biden's DHS is directing illegal immigration through Ports of Entry to give the impression that the inflow has decreased. The DHS has funneled thousands of border crossers and illegal aliens through Ports of Entry using a series of Catch and Release-style programs. The CBP One app has been deployed by the Biden administration, allowing foreign nationals to schedule appointments at the border for direct release into American communities. This has resulted in a significant increase in encounters at Ports of Entry since the start of 2023. The Republicans claim almost all of these inadmissible aliens will ultimately be released into the interior.

He recently announced a nationwide 90-sheriff coalition to join forces to protect communities against the effects of the border crisis.

Breitbart: States Consider Charging Drivers by Mile to Maintain Nation's Roads
States Consider Charging Drivers by Mile to Maintain Nation's Roads
Officials are exploring new ways to generate revenue for road maintenance amid declining income from gas taxes due to inflation, fuel efficiency, and electric cars. One proposal suggests charging drivers by the mile and not the gallon in the future, while others include taxing electricity via car charging stations and adding charges to door-to-door deliveries. President Joe Biden's infrastructure measure includes a $125 million pilot program to test road usage charges, with only Oregon, Utah, and Virginia currently generating revenue from such charges.

Despite White House Senior Advisor Mitch Landrieu's claim that the economy is strong, Americans are still struggling with inflation, with 87% of likely voters expressing concern about it. Despite increasing electricity prices, President Joe Biden has pushed for electric cars, stating his intention to electrify the great American road trip. As officials seek new sources of revenue for road maintenance, the effectiveness and fairness of charging drivers by the mile has yet to be determined.

The Federalist Papers: Lindsey Graham Warns Biden Impeachment Has Killer Flaw, Will Be 'Dead on Arrival'
Lindsey Graham Warns Biden Impeachment Has Killer Flaw, Will Be 'Dead on Arrival'
Sen. Lindsey Graham criticized Republicans for perverting the impeachment process, saying that even if President Joe Biden has been a failure in the White House, due process should not be abandoned. Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert of Colorado called for impeachment proceedings against Biden citing the border crisis he failed to resolve and forced the House to take a floor vote on the articles of impeachment, which were subsequently sent to the Homeland Security and Judiciary committees for review. Some Republican representatives believe that the process to get to the point of substantiation and validity has not yet been reached.

Cruz called the decision “outrageous” and “antisemitic,” accusing President Biden of being “pathologically obsessed with undermining Israel.” The State Department has come under fire for sending the decision to Congress in secret. The Republican Jewish Coalition leadership called the move “shortsighted” and “yet another example of Biden’s adherence to Obama’s anti-Israel Mideast policy.”
