The Federalist Papers: Fox News Doesn't Just Want Tucker Gone, Network Wants Him Erased from Company: Carlson's Biographer
Fox News is censoring political ads that feature Tucker Carlson, demanding that all footage of him and violent crime scene footage be taken out. The SOS America PAC was told that changes had to be made to an advertisement for Republican presidential hopeful Francis Suarez by the station. Chapin Fay, of the PAC, said that other outlets didn’t make such requests for the same ad, and was particularly upset that Fox demanded the violent crime scene footage be taken out. Conservative sources claimed that Carlson’s team wanted to part from Fox amicably but that Fox opted not to. Fox News was once known as a beacon of conservatism, but is now using the leftist playbook and tactics that conservatives accuse the left of employing.
The Imaginative Conservative: Political Patience and Christian Hope
America may have failed, as neither presidential candidate is committed to governing in accord with the Constitution. It seems throughout history, people have been happy to be ruled by tyrants and failed to understand the most basic issues of constitutional government. Though it may seem inappropriate to point to America's decline, traditional conservative thought suggests trying to understand the problem before outlining a suggestion for the "restoration of culture." For Christians, failure is not the final word, as the resurrection shows that any political entity can be renewed and revived to bow the knee to the risen Jesus.

The Epoch Times: Film Review: 'No Hard Feelings'
Jennifer Lawrence stars in the R-rated sex farce "No Hard Feelings" about a woman who seduces a nerdy high school boy to get a car from his helicopter parents. Maddie is strapped for cash and goes to an interview to "date" Percy in exchange for a car, but things go awry when he maces her in the face. The film is a career low for Lawrence, and the plot is problematic given the age gap and the fact that Percy is a minor.

Forbes: Fighting From Trench To Trench, Ukrainian Troops Kill 30 Russians—and Eject The Survivors From A Key Eastern Position
The controversial 3rd Assault Brigade captured a key position from Russian troops south of Bakhmut after engaging in a close-quarters trench battle, killing 30 Russians and capturing 10 prisoners. Troopers from the brigade enticed Russian holdouts to surrender before grenading them, which would be used as currency for potential exchange of Ukrainian prisoners held by Russia. The brigade was formed by the survivors of the Azov Regiment, which fought in the brutal siege of Mariupol in 2022, and has diluted the Azov units' far-right ideology over time. The brigade's success in the counteroffensive has brought about new, more aggressive Ukrainian methods in some sectors, while facing setbacks in other areas.
Daily Wire: House Intel Chairman: Prigozhin Had ‘A Number Of Accomplices’ Inside Russia
Yevgeny Prigozhin had accomplices inside Russia to move Wagner troops from Ukraine to within two hours of Moscow in less than a day. House Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Turner stated that this shows the basic issue of whether or not Putin controls his military. Turner raised concerns about how Prigozhin's forces managed to travel such a long distance in a short amount of time, and suggested that the Russian government would have had to plan for a significant amount of time to execute the mission. The US is paying close attention to the situation, but Turner could not disclose any intelligence details.

The Epoch Times: Wage-Fixing Law Takes Effect in Canada: What Does It Mean?
Canada has made it a criminal offence for multiple employers to engage in wage-fixing and no-poaching agreements. The legislation, which came into effect on June 23, amends the conspiracy provisions of the Competition Act to criminalise agreements by different employers to "fix, maintain, decrease or control salaries, wages or terms and conditions of employment," or not solicit or hire each other's employees. Companies found violating the law face a jail term of up to 14 years, a fine or both. Previous civil provisions banned anti-competitive labour and employment agreements, with non-compliance commanding a fine of up to CAD25m ($18m).

Daily Wire: House Intel Chairman: Report On COVID Origins Given To Biden Has Info That ‘Contradicts’ IC Statements
House Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Turner (R-OH) says that the report President Joe Biden received about the origins of COVID-19 includes classified intelligence that contradicts the information released by the Intelligence Community. Turner says the report is not sufficient, and that it will set up a battle between Congress and the director of national intelligence to ensure the law on declassifying information is complied with and that the American public receives the answers they deserve. The report includes a classified annex, which Turner says goes against what the law says.

Fox News: Louisiana environmentalists push back against Biden's carbon capture initiative: 'Do it where you live'
Louisiana environmentalists and locals are concerned about carbon capture projects supported by President Biden's climate initiative, as nearby Black communities deal with elevated cancer risks from existing chemical plants. Donalsonville is home to several petrochemical refineries that emit massive amounts of carbon dioxide each year into the environment. The industrial corridor near New Orleans is commonly called "Cancer Alley" due to the troubling cancer rates. Activists fear the carbon capture effort could exacerbate the problem and are pushing back against the EPA.
