Cruz Wants Impeachment Probe of Biden After Whistleblower Revelations
Sen. Ted Cruz calls for House investigation into impeaching President Biden over Hunter Biden probe allegations, citing "direct evidence" of Biden abusing government power to enrich his son and himself. Fox News reports that an IRS whistleblower on the Hunter Biden probe revealed that the elder Biden was in the room while his son invoked him to pressure a Chinese business partner through WhatsApp. Four in ten likely voters believe Congress should begin impeachment proceedings against the president.

Where Does Wagner Get Its Money? How Russia’s Mercenaries-Turned-Rebels Earned Millions From Contracts And Mining Deals.
Yevgeny Prigozhin's mercenary firm, the Wagner Group, shifted from assisting Russia’s invasion of Ukraine to briefly rebelling against President Vladimir Putin this weekend. The group and its owner have amassed power and earned hundreds of millions of dollars by securing Russian government contracts, capitalizing on other nations’ natural resources and backing unstable regimes. The Wagner Group has offered security services to scores of weak and war-torn African and Middle Eastern countries, and companies reportedly linked to Prigozhin generated $250 million from natural resources in those nations in the four years before Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

Fox News: Hunter Biden investigation revealed 'unconditional love' and 'how widespread addiction is': NYT columnist
Hunter Biden investigation revealed 'unconditional love' and 'how widespread addiction is': NYT columnist
The ongoing investigation into Hunter Biden and his international business deals reveals a model of love for those facing addiction, according to a New York Times opinion piece. The author, Nicholas Kristof, argues that the real lesson to take away from the claims of President Biden being connected to the deals is the closeness between the president and his son during times of crisis. Kristof explains that while there is no clear evidence of wrongdoing by President Biden himself, he offers the country a fine model of the love and support that people with addictions need.

Hunter Biden has pleaded guilty to a felony gun charge and two tax violations, avoiding a trial and likely prison time. An IRS whistleblower recently revealed that Hunter had invoked his father's name while making a deal with a Chinese business partner. Kristof argues that while Hunter may have acted inappropriately to monetize his proximity to the White House, President Biden acted honorably in holding him accountable for his addiction and providing the parental love and support that can save lives. He proposes that this offers an opportunity for the president to take on the nation’s drug and alcohol problem as forcefully as he took on his son’s.

Wisconsin Horror Farm Discovered by Authorities – Owner Casually Claims 'No Idea' What Happened
Wisconsin couple Kyle and Stephanie Lincicum have been charged with almost 100 counts after police found over 200 dead goats on their property. The couple each face 20 counts of mistreatment of animals, 20 counts of failure to provide proper food, and five counts of timely carcass disposal. Police claim the couple didn't purchase feed for many months and didn't provide water for the animals either. The Lincicums have also been charged with transferring another person's property and one count of theft. WKOW-TV reported that a veterinarian believes the goats died of starvation and lack of water, although the Lincicums claimed all the animals died over a short period due to parasites or illness. Some two hundred dead goats were discovered on their property in May, according to the Telegraph Herald. Police found no feed on the property, according to the Journal Sentinel. The Lincicums allegedly made over $37,000 by selling goats, but the animals belonged to the landowner and not the couple. Gill told the Telegraph Herald that the case was "extraordinary" due to the number of dead animals involved. If convicted, the Lincicums will face several years behind bars.

Fox News: How security pros use TikTok without handing over personal data to China
How security pros use TikTok without handing over personal data to China
TikTok and Temu are among the China-based apps posing a national security threat to users. TikTok's parent company ByteDance, which is based in Beijing and bound to Chinese laws, collects user data such as search and browsing history, location, and facial and voice recognition, which can be accessed by the Chinese government. Despite the fact that some government agencies have banned the app, its popularity continues, particularly among US teenagers. To protect your privacy, consider buying a low-cost Android phone with limited access to personal accounts, and use a separate email account for TikTok.

To further protect your devices from malware, create a guest network on your home router for these devices, including the new Android phone. This will allow internet access but restrict access to sensitive personal or financial data. Implement these safety measures in addition to listening to Kim Komando's podcast, "Kim Komando Today," to stay up-to-date with the latest tech news and tips.
