The Epoch Times: Exodus of Biden's Border Officials Continues as Four More Quietly Resign
Exodus of Biden's Border Officials Continues as Four More Quietly Resign
Illegal immigration into the United States has hit record levels under President Joe Biden's open border policy. Four more of Biden's top border officials have resigned within the last two weeks, bringing the total number of resignations up to seven in recent months. Texas Congressman Troy Nehls states that 16.8 million illegal immigrants live in the US and cost taxpayers $163 billion, while recent reports indicate that one-quarter of 9,300 border agents plan to resign soon. The Biden administration has been accused of silencing whistleblowers and is facing federal complaints from 18 states over its "Circumvention of Lawful Pathways" policy and a controversial phone app that allows undocumented migrants to bypass vetting and safety protocols. Many believe that the Biden administration is replacing these officials with "yes men."

The Epoch Times: When Intel Services Go Public, You Know It's Serious
When Intel Services Go Public, You Know It's Serious
Canada's intelligence agencies, CSIS and CSE, have recently released announcements regarding China's influence-peddling, Russian interference, and online criminal activity. CSIS advises Canadians on not being targeted by China's intelligence services online recruitment while CSE remains secretive on how it prevents online criminal activity. The secretive nature of these agencies hinders their ability to communicate knowledge gained through intelligence collection and act against threat actors, which may be why they are choosing to communicate directly with Canadians.

Red State: 'Fetus on Board!' Focus on the Family Pro-Life Ad Is Hysterical—yet Profound
'Fetus on Board!' Focus on the Family Pro-Life Ad Is Hysterical—yet Profound
Pro-life organization Focus on the Family released a one-minute video called "It's a Baby," which highlighted the hypocrisy of the abortion movement in celebrating life when it's convenient, but referring to a baby as a "fetus" when it's not. Through various happy expectant couples and their families overjoyed by pregnancies, the video emphasized that no matter what one calls it, the truth remains that it is still a baby. The video is both smart and funny, and yet is incredibly powerful in exposing the truth behind every fetus that's aborted is a baby who never got to be born or live a life.

The Epoch Times: Eating Handful of Blueberries Daily May Improve Brain Function, Lower Blood Pressure
Eating Handful of Blueberries Daily May Improve Brain Function, Lower Blood Pressure
Eating blueberries daily may benefit cognitive and cardiovascular health. A study involving a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial of healthy men and women aged 65 to 80 found that consuming 26 grams of freeze-dried wild blueberry powder resulted in better memory, improved accuracy on attention tasks, lower blood pressure and increased flow-mediated dilation (FMD), leading to a lower risk of cardiovascular disease. Researchers believe anthocyanins, the blue pigments in blueberries, are behind the effects. The study helps to bolster previous studies that suggested eating blueberries daily could help lower the risk of cardiovascular disease by lowering blood pressure and improving blood vessel function.

Loudoun County school official found not guilty of perjuring himself in district sexual assault probe
Loudoun County Public Schools spokesman Wayde Byard was acquitted of perjury in a high-profile sexual assault investigation initiated by Attorney General Jason Miyares and Governor Glenn Youngkin. Byard was accused of lying about his awareness of the district's first assault incident. Byard, who was placed on unpaid leave since December, claims he may have been a stand-in for other LCPS employees, but is unsure of whether he will return to his job. The saga began with two sexual assault incidents that took place in 2021, both caused by the same student but at two different LCPS schools.

The Epoch Times: RCMP, Transportation Safety Board Launch Investigations Into Titan Sub Tragedy
RCMP, Transportation Safety Board Launch Investigations Into Titan Sub Tragedy
A preliminary investigation is being carried out into the deaths of five passengers onboard the Titan, an underwater Titanic tour submersible, by the RCMP and the Transportation Safety Board (TSB) after the sub appeared to implode on June 18 when it lost contact and stopped communicating with its launch ship, and search and rescue crews later found five large pieces of debris and wreckage from the submersible. Officials now suggest an instant implosion caused the sub to burst apart under the sea and presume all passengers are dead. Multiple countries, including the US Coast Guard and the American officials, are carrying out their own investigations.

Fox News: Dem senator defends Hunter Biden’s attendance at state dinner with AG Garland: ‘That’s a separate thing’
Dem senator defends Hunter Biden’s attendance at state dinner with AG Garland: ‘That’s a separate thing’
Senator Amy Klobuchar defended Hunter Biden's attendance at a state dinner, stating it was separate from his federal charges. Klobuchar argued that the decision was made by an independent prosecutor who had looked at the evidence and made that decision. She also claimed that if Republicans use this matter in the coming election, it would be unlikely to succeed as the President could run on the strength of his work.

House and Senate Republicans lambasted the deal that Hunter Biden received and the attorney general, Merrick Garland. Republicans have stated that it is prosecutorial misconduct and "election interference." President Biden expressed his support for his son, Hunter, arguing that he is proud of him. Garland denied whistleblower allegations that the Justice Department, FBI, and IRS interfered with the investigation into Hunter Biden.

Wagner Group leader viewed as a 'Robin Hood' figure: Rep. Michael Waltz
Russian mercenary leader Yevgeny Prigozhin, head of the Wagner Group, is viewed as a champion of common soldiers protesting against the corrupt Russian army. It remains unclear how widely Prigozhin's message has spread throughout Russia. Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko reportedly initiated negotiations with Prigozhin on Putin's behalf. After talks, Prigozhin announced his troops are "turning our columns around … to avoid bloodshed," seemingly bringing an end to the most significant challenge to Putin's 23-year-old regime.
